Best rom for performance and battery - OnePlus 5T Questions & Answers

Hi guys, i have tested so many roms and kernels but now im lookin for nice rom and kernel for battery but still fast. Anyone got some ideas which rom / kernel i have to test? Thank you already and im sorry for my bad english but i hope you understand

omnirom and bluspark

OOS based : xXx w/ Singularity kernel.
Explanation : stock with tweaks, making it better than it is already.
Customs: Dirty Unicorns, Screwd, Omni
Explainations : AOSP-based, really fast and smooth, not bloated with useless stuff.
Kernel settings :
gov > tripndroid or alucard
i/o > deadline with 1024 readahead
tcp algorithm > sociopath
Overall, Flash and Singularity are the best kernels i've tried. (Omni's one is great as well, simple and just works without further tweaking)

[Q] Best kernel?

Can anyone gave some better kernel than ak-xgenesis for gehrc aosp roms?
Actualy i use omni-4.4.4-20140910-geehrc-NIGHTLY.zip with 3.4.86-Ak-xenesis-gee+ kernel and baseband 20c from polish KK
Check out faust's port of Franco kernel for ultra battery life (don't forget to change cpu governor) , it has more features than ports of Franco from sprint g forum.
For performance download AK (v350) (from sprint g forum), it is more flexible than AK xGenesis

No (using n4 kernel you won't have capactive buttons working), i mean this -> https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B9EFp1W1O3f2SFVaNGg4SzVHelk&usp=sharing
If you have wifi problem, flash after the "revert 4.4.3 wifi"
And check it out too -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/zip-synapse-script-universal-kernel-t2736986
This is the great app for gee based (and n4) kernels, way better than trickster mods etc.

V2.2 BETA
*Previous 2.0 BETA version had some obvious issues with Maximum CPU freq scaling that I addressed and is now properly working *
This version for now is going to be released as a beta because I promised a new version but I still haven't quite gotten it to the point I wanted.
In the process of integrating STweaks and Synapse. Expect bugs.
Rewrote all the hot plug code and updated it
Changed from original intelli thermal to Dorimanx's version.
Removed cpu boost and added Alucard's version.
Added all cpu govs from dorimanx's kernel.
Added generic sound controls.
Removed ZZMOOVE and TCP congestion additions for now. Will add back in the future.
Will update more thoroughly later as I am at work currently.

General Info and Knowledge:
I personally use Kernel Auditor to tune my Kernel, though Faux Clock or TricksterMOD would also work just fine...

Congrats on the great work. Thanks for the shout out and happy that i could help u test all this time. Thanks again for all ur work and happy ur sharing it with everyone now. I've had nothing but great performance and stability with this kernel so far.
BTW......i ran this kernel on the latest T-Mo 20E build and currently running it on Cloudy 2.3 which is based off of 20P source and running great with no issues. I use FauxClock to tweak kernel. Running smartassv2, tripndroid I/O, intellithermal and imtellidemand and get great performance and phone deep sleeps like a baby. I tried Lionheart governor at first but wasn't getting good deep sleep so someone might want to test that one out and sew how it is for them. [emoji106]

I get LG Security Error when I flash on latest Cloudy rom.
EDIT: I fixed it by installing the 20E bootstack.

So With what I'm currently running (Cloudy G3 2.3) I should be able to flash your kernel by itself without having to flash anything with it?
Does this come with color control? Lol i have no idea where this app came from

I'm not sure if people r even having trouble, i think they're just scared ro flash on latest Cloudy Rom which is based off of 20p. I'm running ur kernel on Cloudy with no problem but i also flashed the 20e bootstack too.
People, if u flash kernel and ur on Cloudy and it boots fine then great! If not, then just flash 20e boostack and u should be good to go. Only real way to know is to try it. It's not really gonna hurt anything by flashing. And as always, perform a nandroid first just in case.

R u using an app to tweak the kernel? Something like Fauxclock or Trickster Mod? Smartassv2 is there, Intellidemand isn't.

Which kernel ( and ROM ) combination and why? post configuration & result as well
Hello everyone! so i was just wondering while hopping from kernel to kernel that which kernel are you guys using and why? ALSO I BELIEVE ALL THE KERNELS ARE DOPE IN THEIR OWN WAYS! SO CHEERS TO ALL THE DEVS OUT THERE! But which one are you into and why
Bluspark with fastlane enabled on both clusters
FreedomOS and bluspark are my favourites by now. Excellent battery life and everything rock stable.

Open the zip file of there rom and grab the boot.img out of it and flash that in twrp.
Do they do any work on the kernel? Might have to check it out my self. Most ROMs tend to have the sames settings when it comes to the kernel. One of the reasons why I like to compile the roms myself is there are some default settings that just don't seem right to me. CPU default scheduler sucks, same for the IO scheduler and readahead could be higher considering we have 3GB of ram.

Best custom kernel for Z2

Hello, I'm using AEX 4.6 official and I'm really satisfied with this ROM as it is stable, responsive and low in battery consuming.
In the past, when I was on AEX 4.5, I flashed Jaguar kernel with good results but nowadays are available other kernels as Heliox for example, so I would like to know by you which we can classify as the overall best kernel for Zuk Z2 device.
Thanks and regards,
Heliox for me

Anything for Oreo?
Everyone suggest Heliox kernel over Jaguar, but if I'm not wrong, the previous has not been updated recently as occurred for the latter, then I don't know what to do because I was wondering install the custom kernel particularly for the newest security patches.
Thanks and regards,
For me it's Jaguar, been running it on PureFusionOS for a while now and the included overclock, cpu voltage change, hotplug and intellithermal is all I needed. I can even use f2fs without any issue so far even though the dev clearly boycotted it and overall it's not recommended
