May I ask why you suspect a drain, like how long does it last and also what's wrong with the built-in bat-stat?
My biggest recommendation is to avoid DL'n every single app and keep it to a minimum.
Mine last roughly 2days with a screen time of 3-4h without charging (was away a weekend recently and took my chances and left the charger at home, used the camera alot incl. 4k shooting and alot of music videos playing and made all the way home with 1 percent )
Best phone in terms of battery I've come across yet.

Changing ROM will not help in most cases if you won't discover what is eating battery.
I am on the same above ROM and kernel and I don't complain.
Term 'fast' is not much precise, either.
BTW:
1.3%/h is pretty reasonable if phone was in use from time to time.
Base rule with BBS is to check batery over night, when it is not used at all.
Under those circumstances you should see 0.1-03%/h and that is completely fine.

As always - check that all automatic synchronizations are off.
google, pictures, facebook, whatsapp.
Hope you don't use WiFi all the time, nor you scan for available networks.

i dont think using wifi and auto sync will drain my battery from 60% to 6% in just a second. Anyway, i ordered a replacement battery from witrigs. Hope this fixes my problem. Ive tried factory resets and repair through pc companion. still no improvement. Turning stamina mode improves my battery. It no longer drops 50% in a second, just 10%. Still way too low compared to my excellent battery life with kitkat. Before lollipop, i charge my phone every 2 days with heavy use. Now, i need to charge it twice a day with moderate use.

If so - I'd come back to KK before replacing battery, if for no other reason then to prove LP is guilty.
BTW:
Long ago I decided not to upgrade to LP.
Looks like evey step ahead is in real life step back.
Everything is more complicated, wants more maintenance, yet works worse than old simple tools.

I just got the moto 360. The software currently is version: 4.4W.1 and Build: KGW42N.
Is this the latest update? if not, how can I get it the watch has not prompted any update.

Currently the update coming is 4.4w2. It should be rolling out now. Just gotta be like us and wait it out lol. Still waiting here for me.

So is this the most recent update with the battery enhancing? Im confused. From the launch I believe there was one update where the battery life improved and now I hear a new one is coming out. Is mine without the first update?

You are running the same version as everyone else that has not received the update that is rolling out now

Isn't the build number suppose to end an a R, not an N? I just got the device too. My build number ends in N.

You should be on KGW42R. Try going to Settings>About>System Updates. You should have 80% or more battery to update.
This is the update rolling out now.

It is likely related to the new update that is slowly rolling out right now. In a day or two you should be prompted to update.

Is the watch hot? I notice that this happens if the watch is a little hot. Just let it cool down and try charging again.

My battery life improved. went from 13 1/2 hours use at 37% to nearly 18 1/2 hours use ending at 40% (this is without ambient mode on). With ambient mode, I went from about 6 1/5 hours use ending at 50% to nearly 10 hours use ending at 40%. This is all with moderate use (just checking text messages, weather, and looking at the time). No heavy use (games or navigation). Haven't had any charging issues either. An issues I had before but not so much after the update, was the watch randomly putting itself on silent. I would get a text and feel the buzz (I keep my phone on vibrate at work) and then about 2 hours later when I look down at my watch, i'll see that I missed a notification because it turned itself on silent.

Battery Life On XtreStoLite 2.1 (COF8)

Ever since I switched to this rom my phone has been so much quicker in terms of responsiveness. The animations are snappier too.
Battery life however has been what I liked most about flashing this rom (naturally ?). My Edge has been off the charger for nearly 20 hours with Bluetooth on the entire time for Android Wear and a weird snapchat wakelock that maintained a network connection for 5 hours. Screen time was over 4 hrs. Still at 10% as I type this.
Much much better than stock ?

I'm using this rom with unikernel 4.001 I'm getting like 5 1/2 sot in a 24 hour use I can sleep 8 hours and lose 1 % lag free

Has anyone updated to xtrestoLite 2.2 with unikernel 6? I updated but feel as if 2.1 and unikernel 3 actual have me better battery life. I manage just about barely 4 hours currently without Bluetooth on. Btw how did you manage to get Google services so low that it doesn't even show up in your battery stats? Mine is constantly on to with around 30% usage.

Yeah I'm gonna stick with 2.1 for now. As for my Google services not showing up in my stats, I couldn't tell you, I'm not doing anything different in particular. I leave sync on as well.

Hey, is it safe to install a rom on an unlocked t mobile s6 edge? I remember I saw a thread before saying unlocked phones are risky? I use AT&T

so i rooted and installed this rom and what a difference, battery life is almost double and performance is incredible, no more lag.. thanks for posting

From what I've read you should be fine provided you follow the steps outlined in the rom's thread. If you've read otherwise then link me to it?

Unlocked Phones: If you have unlocked your phone, you might run into problems with 5.1.1. There have been reports of phones stuck in a boot-loop when upgrading from 5.0.2 -> 5.1.1 when the phone has been unlocked or EFS/IMEI has been tampered with. Combine this with the new "FRP LOCK" (Factory Reset Protection) in 5.1.1, and you might find yourself with a complete brick with no warranty. This issue may or may not have anything to do with rooting or custom firmware

Any release notes?

Probably going to update (OTA) the next days. Flashed the russian pie rom and received this OTA. Working fine except for "Smart backlight control" stopping to work (when using USB tethering over a longer period of time, weird). I don't have wifi yet so i need to make sure my mobile internet is enough to try out Torchlight Fronters this weekend, that's something i definily don't want to miss. I'll give feedback if i find anything unexpected in that update.
UPDATE: Disabling Smart background control fixed my issue. Luckily it's not really something neccesary.

i also got the update and installed it. Nothing has changet at UI, i think

After upgrading to pie unfortunately my battery no longer lasts more than a day. Before upgrading it lasted two days or more. Rubbish !!!! I think this is purposeful.

You're making some pretty harsh accusations, even going so far as to call them "shameless", but without anything to back it up, and even becoming overly defensive after getting called out on it, you come off as just an immature kid spewing nonsense (basically slander) on the internet.
It's perfectly fine to complain about worse battery life after the upgrade. That by itself is valuable input of actual user experiences that adds to the conversation and provides people more perspectives to what may happen after upgrading to Pie.
But to go one step further and claim that the weaker battery life is because of a conspiracy to purposefully cripple your phone in order to get you to go and buy the latest model?
If you have actual evidence indicating that the age old theory is actually true, by all means blow that whistle and tell us.
Otherwise, you're just spreading false information pulled out of your ass instead of contributing to any meaningful discussion. I don't see how you can justify that sort of behavior.

My battery life is just fine since going to Pie. If you don't like it, just roll back to Oreo.

fwiw my phones battery lasts a lot more after upgrading to PIE. usually 2-3 days with normal use, including about 2-3 hours voice calls, 1-2 hours internet browsing, usual emails, 1-2 hours gps while driving, approx 6-7 hours SOT . you better check if you have some power hungry apps running at backround. anyway, making such absurd accusations without having anything backing it up is childish and doesn't give anyone anything.

UPDATE: Smart backlight control was the thing making problems. Disabling this fixed my problems. Pie is fast, my battery life seems to be even better than before but Wifi WPS is missing i think or maybe it just got moved somewhere else.

I thought that WPS was being removed in Android due to security concerns. Might be wrong though.

anyway, i flashed it to check it out and see for myself... letting it settle in a few days then i'll see...
on another note, i did have an issue with DT2W but fixed it by enabling it in the OS but disabled it in EXKM now DT2W works perfectly. FPR also is working great!

Nice! Let us know how you get on. I'm really enjoying it. I realised how my FPR was really bad on bluspark once I switched to this - you kind of go.... Oh yeah that's how it's supposed to work!
On battery usage it's obviously not for comparison to your own individual usage, I said it just for reference that I noticed a significant improvement given my typical usage. Milage will vary but I feel this is the best balanced kernel for me at this time, so sharing the find with others.

just installed it on my one plus 7t pro . Everything working fine as of now. I would like to give it some time to settle down and then report on battery life . The battery life is real bad on the 7t pro.

On battery usage it's obviously not for comparison to your own individual usage, I said it just for reference that I noticed a significant improvement given my typical usage. Mileage will vary but I feel this is the best balanced kernel for me at this time, so sharing the find with others.

Not bad! its pretty good. as of today i have gotten about 4 hrs SOT (after removing it from charger) and still at 88% and I use it pretty heavily and on almost max brightness... i was also getting decent battery life on stock and other Kernels though so not 100% certain yet but seems to be pretty smooth with no real issues

EXKM gives me an error, says unzip error or something below. How did you root the device, via magisk patched boot img, right? I suspect issues with my root. I'm not able to mount system as read write

Flash the either the stock or patched boot.img in EXKM. Here's the latest Magisk-patched boot.img from 10.0.6.HD65AA:

I got same issue before, your EXKM's version is too old.
