I'm thinking of updating to Oreo 8.1 as OnePlus has recently rolled out updates.*
I've so far refrained from updating from 7.1.1 because I read some people were having network issues with 4G, wifi and calling on oreo 8.0 update of oneplus 5 and 5t. Another reason was xposed framework being in beta stage for oreo.*
So, I'm asking are the following modules running fine on oneplus 5T with 8.1 oreo?*
°Ad blocker reborn*
°App settings*
°Custom widgets*
°Gravity Box
°Status bar download progress
°Xprivacy Lua
°YouTube Adaway
I will update to new OS if I find positive answers.*

Gravity box, YouTube adaway, status bar download progress via GB are working on 8.1. I don't use the rest from your list.

Yes. AFAIK Xposed is not today compatible with Android 7/Nougat or CM14.x but rovo89 is working on it.

Yes xposed is actually compatible with API level 23 = Android 6.x. It recently got updated to be compatible with the November 1st security patch on Android 6.x .
You will have to wait a while until its ready for Nougat.
Hello guys, I have looked on the forum and on the web but I can't seem to be able to find a definitive guide to flashing xposed on Oneplus 3 mounting (rooted) Nougat stock.
If a such topic exists already please let me know and I'll close this one.
I know there are issues deriving from the different partitioning of the internal memory starting from Nougat, so I don't want to risk a bootloop.

xposed works on oneplus 3 properly.
xposed works on oneplus 3 properly. You can install it without any hesitation. I have installed it successfully on my oneplus 3.

All the custom ROMs have it. Not sure if u can get it on oos coz the navbar is not a navbar ?

Is it possible to get swipe gestures from 8.1.1 to 7.1.1 ? I want to use nought with gestures option available.
Nougat OOS need wipe gestures !!!
Maybe copy sistem apk and remplace system apk in 7.0
I'd like to know if the guestures be ported to Nougat as well. I'm also on android 7.1.1.

May I ask why you're using Nougat OOS instead of Oreo? I'm just genuinely curious.

used oreo for a week but the performance and battery life was poor as compared to Nougat[did a clean install], so reverted back to Nougat.
Don't like Oreo. Why fix something that's not broken. I just like the new feature of the swipe guestures.

It's not a problem and nothing to fix. Marshmallow is/was the last for the G3. There was no Nougat and no Oreo. Why would you think there would be a Pie? The G3 is EOL, plain and simple.
My favorite device and daily driver but that's the reality.

@plo6g9, I forgot to mention, so even though we never got any stock past Marshmallow there were a lot of custom ROMs to enjoy. Pie included. Not sure of your variant but you can check out the G3 Development threads and maybe others specific to your variant.
