Tmob010 is there. Not sure if it's the same but it matches your cid. Usually you can tell from the 3rd set of numbers in the firmware. x.xx.111.xx

The thread he linked you to has that firmware, but you can only flash them (full wipe and no wipe are both linked there) if you are S-Off. They aren't signed so if you're S-On you can't flash them.
EDIT: You can flash the RUU for your version if you are S-On as well as S-Off. Download it from here

I'm sorry. I should have looked at the posts better. I saw the links and mention of T-Mo Germany and just went with that. The CID for T-Mo US is T-MOB010 and for Germany it's T-MOB101, so I didn't notice.
I don't think T-Mo has updated to Oreo for the US yet. I do know there were issues with the one for US Unlocked, and the RUU has been pulled from their website for download. That's the second time they removed it (or maybe the third?). You can find it here on XDA, but I haven't flashed it yet because of the issues with it that have been reported (I'm US Unlocked).
The WWE version I think has less problems, but there isn't an RUU for it. Flashing the 2.41.401.41 RUU (WWE) then checking for updates in settings brings up the one for Oreo via OTA, so maybe that hasn't been pulled for a reason?
Since you are S-Off, you could change your CID and MID and flash the 2.41.401.41. RUU and update that way. The WWE firmware works fine in the US (except for on Sprint and maybe Verizon) so you wouldn't have to worry about much except for maybe some T-Mo specific things (like VoWIFI)
If you need instructions on how to do this, just reply to this and I'll do that for you.

Thank you so much for the info. Would you be able to post a link or a walk through to change from T-Mobile to USA unlocked? That would be so awesome in more ways. I also have an HTC U11 Life T-Mobile and unfortunately sunshine hasn't updated the s-off yet. T-Mobile stated I have to use the service for 40 days or an equivalent of $100 to unlock. Bootloader, tarp, and root with a new flash and unlocked it.

You just need to change the CID. The MID will already be correct.
In bootloader mode:
fastboot oem writecid BS_US001
Then you'll be able to flash the US Unlocked stuff.
For the U11 Life, I'm assuming you mean unlock the bootloader and not SIM unlock?
You can unlock it via htcdev.com just like most HTCs. T-Mo reps (and reps from pretty much any carrier) don't know F all. You need to elevate your requests to someone who knows somwthing. The people who answer you calls aren't technicians. They know squat. Same goes for salesmen at the stores.
At https://www.htcdev.com just choose "all other supported models" at the bottom of "select your device" and follow the instructions given on the website

If you have superCID then choose whatever RUU you want from HERE. It will not change your CID if you flash a particular RUU.
May I hook on to this.
My CID is O2__001. So I want to change it into 111111.
When I boot into fastboot and give 'fastboot oem writecid 11111111' it says:
FAILED (status read failed (Too many links).
I've tried different usb-ports, different usb-cables
Or is there another way to change the CID?
Bootloader is unlocked (HTCDev)
HBoot: 0.43.0000
Softwareversion is still 1.26.206.2, no updates available
Someone can help me?
Thanks in advance

If you have S-OFF you don't have any need for HTCdev. Being superCID your phone can get OTA updates as long as you have stock recovery.

World Wide Edition
No, s-off can be beneficial to anyone whose carriers are bad about releasing firmware updates. But it's not necessary for anyone to have s-off. You just could be a little more limited in your rom options and you can't flash a radio from another region or customize your splash screen (the black screen with white HTC lettering.

If your in the US you should flashed the US unlocked RUU if you want faster updates than a carrier version of the phone.

Yes, here you are: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/how-to/2016-05-27-fastboot-flashing-firmware-t3387520
There is no RUU yet. It hasnt even been released for WWE yet. The link above is only firmware.
I have the unlocked US version of HTC 10 with Marshmellow and I successfully rooted it, installed the latest TWRP recovery, etc. Now OTA updates do not work - TWRP can't update OTA updates. Will RUU work better? I can't figure out which instructions to follow to flash my version of unlocked rooted S-OFF TWRP HTC 10 to Nougat 2.28.617... update. Could someone help, please?

RUU is stock. By put TWRP on your phone you broke OTA. A dumb system, one I assume is to do with security. Theres no reason we should be prevented from downloading updates, really, or installing them. Most people use a custom recovery for good reasons.

The only RUU for that firmware at the moment is for US devices, and its for Nougat, as mentioned above. From what I can tell (and have experienced) it can be installed on most HTC 10 phones with no ill consequences, however I would double check before you go ahead and do it. And you need to be S-OFF in order to change the MID to 2PS650000 and the CID to BS_US001 since the RUU will fail if it dectects any others. I installed the US RUU onto my UK HTC 10 and changed my settings back to what I had before (essentially WWE unlocked HTC__001 and 2PS620000) and it works perfectly fine.

I'm sure as soon as its available you'll find it at http://www.htc.com/us/support/rom-downloads.html and/or http://4pda.ru/forum/lofiversion/index.php?t743602-1220.html.
whats the difference between unlocked and wwe version ? of topic .
Hey guys,
I have a Taiwanese HTC 10 and wanted to install Nougat on it. It didn't work even with Bootloader unlocked and re-locked from Htcdev.com .
In the forums here i read, that you need to have to transform to the US version. And to do that you need S-Off (please correct me if I'm wrong).
While i was looking for Sunshine alternatives that are free and i found Moonshine (moonshine.io).
My question is if this can be trusted and really S-offs your device.
The 25$ for Sunshine won't be a problem if it really works and i can transform to US and install any RUU Rom for Nougat (official of course).
What have your experiences been with TW 10s?
The only option to s-off the device is Sunshine. Moonshine doesn't work anymore on any device.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Will the To to us to nougat thing work?
I don't want to spend the money for nothing.

If you're trying to install U.S Unlocked ruu then you need to have unlocked cid and mid. Right now you're using U.S cid but your mid is wwe.
If you're trying to flash a US RUU, the MID needs to be 2PS65000, NOT 2PS62000

You missed a zero on both of those. 2PS650000 and 2PS620000 it should say.
I have an M9 with Eragon rom flashed, which is android 5, if I try to flash ANY other rom, it never boots, I figured it was something about the firmware, but I have absolutely no idea what I'm looking for, I'm using the mexican M9, unlocked, S-ON (i don't really know what any of this means), I have access to TWRP but for the life of me I can't figure out what I need to download or flash, it's really frustrating (and yes, I've used the search funcion but like I said, I don't even know what I'm looking for.

The rom version MUST MATCH THE FIRMWARE VERSION. If you need to flash stock then you need to get it back to stock condition by following the thread that flippy spent ages on, it is in the general section stickies.
Beamed in by telepathy.
But how do I know which rom version and firmware version I have? and do I have to go back to stock? I don't understand anything about the RUU stuff (i tried downloading one and using the SD method thing to flash it, but it gave me an error)

The readme thread, particularly the section on RUUs is what you need.
You need to look up your OS version, identify the SKU and match that to the RUUs that are available. Then you can download and apply the correct software to your phone.
The readme thread explains this, step by step. Check it out and post any questions you have from there in this thread.

I found the SKU, it's 600, should I just download that and try to flash it with the SD method thing?

I don't know how to interpret the error code, but perhaps we can rule out the obvious. What is your current OS version?

Also, we're not talking about a phone error - you've got a perfectly working device. The problem is that your firmware is outdated and current ROMs require Marshmallow or Nougat firmware. From the looks of it, your SKU doesn't have any updates available.
Assuming you have correctly identified your SKU as 600, your best bet is to achieve S-OFF and change your phone SKU to the developer SKU so that you can update to the latest firmware for the M9. Keep in mind that you will lose any carrier specific features that may be included in the 600 SKU firmware (such as VoLTE, wifi calling).
Before taking that step, be sure that you've properly identified your SKU - if you turn out to have a CDMA phone/SKU, attempting to apply other firmware will almost certainly brick it.

I got desperate and I tried another SKU, 599, which had the same CID as mine (but apparently a higher version) and it actually worked, it started flashing and all, i'm on the "Android is starting... Optimizing apps" screen right now, somewhat relieved, I hope it works, I've been at this for like 3 days
and I can't pay for S-OFF, I'm totally broke (and I feel kinda salty because I already paid for that app once lol)

Interesting and weird. I can't explain why a RUU of another SKU would work on your phone - unless your phone is actually SKU 599 and not 600. I am glad it worked, however!
My guess is that the reason for that being possible is the fact that those two SKUs share the same CID and MID. I don't even know the difference between the two SKUs (assuming that there actually is one). :silly:

Apparently one is specifically from Mexico (Telcel) and the other one (that worked) was Latinamerica in general...
So now that I'm in stock android 6, how would I go about getting Nougat on it? or rooting? (I don't know if I should make a new thread for this)

Well, that info is taken from the naming of the RUUs. What I meant was the content. Why would HTC decide to use the same MID and CID for two SKUs. As far as I know this situation is unique. Have you been able to notice any differences of the two RUUs software.
The telcel one didn't work because it was probably too old for your phone. With S-ON downgrades are only possible in some rare cases.

Not every SKU already received the Android N update. You may need to wait a bit longer.
If your bootloader is still unlocked you can flash TWRP and SuperSU. The correct versions for each firmware version of the M9 are stated in the ReadMe thread.
