I'm not sure what the deal is, but sometimes the phone stops working on my WiFi connection at home. It also seems to have trouble when switching from 4g to WiFi... The only solution I have found so far is to reboot the phone... Anyone else having these sorts of issues?

Do you see this issue when you are using the WiFi or when resuming from Screen Timeout?
If you are seeing this issue when resuming from Screen Timeout, then it is not a problem as the device will switch OFF WiFi when not in use and turns on automatically when you turn on the screen.
If it is the not the case, I think there might be a issue with your device.

You're not the only one. I've seen that issue as well. As a "test", I turned off my wi-fi for the better part of a week -- and just used by Data connection everywhere I went (home, work, etc.). Not ONCE during that time did my data connection stop functioning. Not even a single time. I've just turned my wi-fi back on to see what happens.
I'll report back.
I've got the same issue and so do others on WPcentral and the Nokia support forums. To me, it sounds like a software issue. That being said, my 30 days are running out, so I'm going to swap out my device sometime between now and Monday, so I should be able to let you know if that fixes it.
Losing my saved games and app settings will suck, but at least I'll have the peace of mind of knowing for sure if it's a device issue.

Last night I started noticing the same issue. I applied the fix Nokia released and since then I have seen some weird issues. Last night i was trying to download an app and it was just stuck at the four dots. I then also tried IE and it was slow and pages would not render. I then powered off/on and got the same thing.
This morning I was trying read something on the web and had the same effect. just for Sh!ts and giggles I turned off WiFi and tried to browse using LTE and it was super fast.
I had a green dot replacement and was hesitant to apply the patch but said what could be the harm. Now I am stuck here with more issues than I had before.
To be honest this is my work phone under a corporate account and I wanted to switch to WP7 but now I am starting to wonder if I really want to stick with a device that is having this many issues and on top of that the camera issues.
Im at a crossroads because I may just wait and go to the iPhone 5 when its released.
Well, at this point I don't know if I should get another Lumia since I'm still within 30 days, but I might try the Titan II instead...
I have this issue also. I reported it in a couple of threads here and on the Nokia site. I do NOT lose Data connection with Wifi. The Wifi connection simply does not display content. The site conneciton occurs. Sometimes the site theme or color shows up. But, no data is displayed. A reboot is required. I too tried 4g only connection for an extended time. Never had this occur. ONLY on a wifi connection, only at home, and strangely enough, only on limited sites. But, once the situation occurs, it occurs on every site until reboot.
The trigger sites for me....this xda site, and the old Twitter site. No other site seems to trigger it for me.
Since the update, this occurs much less. Before the update, maybe 1 in 15 Internet connection attempts at the those sites.
Just got my Lumia 900 swapped today -- to resolve some *major* issues I was having with the capacitive buttons + speaker audio. Anyhow...the button issue went away, so I'll see how the wifi/data issue goes. Hoping for the best!
I swapped mine out last night and now have gone about 15 hours without the Wifi issue. I'll keep everyone updated, but it might be worth it to swap out yours as well just for the peace of mind if your 30 days are nearly up as well.
No issues here. LTE and WiFI playing very nice together.

Same here. Swapped handset, no issues thus far.
If I make it through the weekend (with both DATA and WI-FI enabled) without having any issues, I'll be feeling pretty good that it was just a defective handset. Making it through a few days will be an even better sign!
Update: I swapped out my phone at something like 6PM Friday, and went all weekend and all work day Monday with no issues whatsoever with connectivity.
I'm pretty convinced that the problem is fixed, I think. I wouldn't wait around until after your return period is up if you're having this issue. I know it's a pain to reinstall all your apps, and you lose settings and game saves, but still.
For those that have this issue...or had rather. I wonder if you were able to narrow down a trigger. I do not have a data disconnection. I simply have a lack of content display. Not exactly the same thing. And, if it is not a data connection issue, we should probably not refer to it as such, because the researchers..or what ever you guy the 'official' people that look into it...could the issue off if it is indeed not a connection issue.
Anyway...glad you guys got yours working. I've had mine for over a week and only 1 occurance of the no display of content since then.....yes...triggered by xda.

That's what I was having as well. And no, I was never able to find a trigger, it just happened.

I wish I'd paid more attention when this was happening on my (previous) Lumia 900, but I couldn't necessarily repro the problem at will. That said, it *did* happen on a daily basis -- sometimes just when opening my email and hitting 'sync' manually. It was almost like I hit 'sync' before the wifi was connected, and then it got into a 'disconnect' loop that could only be solved by 1) waiting for a few minutes, 2) going into Airplane mode and back to normal again, or 3) turning wifi on/off briefly. In any event, it would mean that ALL OF MY DATA did not function until I fixed it. I ended up turning off my wi-fi completely and just using my data connection for everything. That worked too.
All that said, I exchanged my Lumia 900 last Friday and I've not experienced this issue again.... not even once. I've visited the same websites, used the same email, sync'd the same way (sometimes manually, sometimes not), and I've left both my DATA and WI-FI on the entire time -- I never turn either of them off. Not one single "data loss" issue, or whatever you want to call it.
It "feels" solved. I hope it is
Curious. Same micro-SIM in the exchanged 900? Or, did they use a new one.

Yes. Sorry. Too lazy to trim down your post to quote. Interesting. So maybe it was a device problem. Or AT&T did some SIM configuring while you were there. Never get to see what they are doing on the terminals. In any case, good that you are up and running.

Well, to make a long story short, I switched to a Titan II, but had some other issues. With the Titan II I realized it was my fault, not the phones. I had switched to AT&T from Verizon because I has having the same issue over several phones that I had with the Titan II.
I really liked Mango, but with the inability to backup SMS/MMS messages, also the ability to send SMS from the PC (which can be done with 3rd party apps on Android), I decided to go back to Verizon. Hopefully when WP8 comes out we'll have these features, but for now, Android is my baby. Thanks to all who helped me, these forums are great for any phone.
Hello guys, I'm new on the forum, I am the owner of HoX for the past 5 months and so far I'm really glad with the phone. Everything worked very well until couple of days ago when I started to get strange problem with WiFi. Problem is not common HoX wi fi problem with signal bars. The thing is, when I connect to my router which is located in my room and when I'm in the room signal is full and everything works fine, I get full speed on the phone and everything is perfect. Problem begins when I move from my room to my living room or any other room in the house, then I still get pretty decent signal (full bars or one bar below full) but data transmission just doesn't work, I can't open any page or anything. The same thing happens with all apps using internet like Playstore etc.
Before I got this problem, I could normally use WiFi even when I get out of the home and signal and speed was just perfect. I am now writing you from my notebook via WiFi and I'm located in living room, while two walls and two doors seperate me from the router and I still have almost full bars and full speed. I had the same thing with One X. I could use WiFi anywhere in the house or even around the house.
I tried to connect to other routers as well in the other places and result is the same. I tried connecting at my University, at my friend's home and same thing occurs.
If anyone has or had the same problem please answer me and tell what to do, phone is just 5 months old. I still have year and a half warranty on it, but I'm not really patient and I wouldn't like to give it for a repair cuz knowing my dealer they wouldn't provide me with a replacement phone. :- Phone is unbranded HoX bought in Europe in November 2012.
Thanking you in advance and sorry for my imperfect English, I am from Europe
EDIT...
I forgot to say that I tried to power off/power on phone, I tried "Best Wi-Fi performance", and I also unticked the Auto Disconnect option and no benefits at all.
I just read the first 3 lines...
Send it to HTC-Care, they will install a spongy-pillars inside your phone, this should fix your WIFI.

I am afraid that's not the answer.
I have faced this problem with my device and HTC in-fact recognized the problem only after i captured a video of the behavior and sent it to them.
The local service center has not heard about it and they escalated the issue to Taiwan. Even a motherboard replacement does not solve the problem.

For me this behavior was irregular and not easily re-producible by the service center guys and hence i resorted to sending them a video comparing my HTC to another one side by side.
They did not have any fix for the solution. I would suggest you do the same as i did. They will choose to give you a temporary loan phone or a replacement phone.
Good luck.
I've had this on both my Desire and HOX and it's usually fixed by switching on mobile data. Doing this seems to remind the phone that it can see the internet and all is well again (it still uses the wifi rather than mobile data).
Thank you all for help. I tried to turn both Mobile data (3G) and WiFi, but same thing happens, and also I began experiencing a lower signal on the same distance from router than I had before.
For example, I had 2 bars before If I was in my living room which is separated by two walls and two doors from my room where is my router located. Now I barely got one bar or sometimes even a dot. So now I'm pretty sure that this is hardware related problem, anyways, there is already a topic about this problem so I will post my enquiries there. Thank you all for help

Hey, thank you for reply. I took two screenshots and this is my software info. BTW. I tried factory reset but that didn't help, problem still exists. As far as I can remember I did have some software update a while ago, but can't really remember what exactly. Here are the screens:
Unfortunately, I'm new user and obiviously I'm not able to post pictures here, but I will write what it says.
Android version:
4.1.1.
HTC Sense version:
4+
Software number:
3.18.401.1
HTC SDK API level:
4.63
HTC Extension version:
HTCExtension_Sense45_1
If you need more info like kernel, baseband etc let me know, btw. phone is not rooted, everything is still original (stock rom) and I haven't even tried to root it, or do anything about it, since when you root your phone, you can say goodbye to your warranty.
yea i see...it's 3.18 you have to update your phone to 3.19 and see if issue with wifi still persists...if yes it's hardware fault if not it's fixed by updating...got to settings/about/ then software update or so and download and install new update..
not for all things warranty is away after rooting
Thanks for reply, but how can I update it, cuz manually it won't work. When I go for software updates it says that there is no updates available for my phone?
EDIT...
I found this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2226098 and some guy says that it will, among other things, repair WiFi reception...
Let's just hope then, that this is some kind of software issue )))
then go to settings and apps and there are those google framework things etc...then clear their cache and reboot
and from google play store too
3.19.401.1 which fixes the WiFi issue is not yet available. I hope we 'll get it soon! I bet that's why you have poor WiFi reception especially since you told us that before you didnt experience any issues at all!

@Ivanovic that's true. I bought HoX in November 2012, and so far I'm really glad with the phone. Haven't had any negative experience, in 5 months it did restarted once or twice on its own, but other than that, everything was pretty fine until recent WiFi problems.
If I had a common HoX WiFi problem, I guess I would have bad signal even 1 centimeter from the router...
Let's hope this update comes ASAP and I hope so it could fix this, if nothing, I still have year and a half warranty on it, but it would be pretty damn hard to explain them this sort of problem and I am afraid that they wouldn't fix it properly.

I set my router to use B & G channel on, and it works great now.... Just try it, there is no harm in it.

Well, all my wi fi devices work fine on my router except One X. I tested my fathers HTC One V and I tested my notebook computer and they are both working fine. My Wi-Fi reception on One X is significantly reduced since when I go away to other room I got one bar, or even one dot but sometimes I get two bars and no data transfer. I can't remember If I had this problem before 3.18 update, since I don't really use my phone's wi-fi much out of my own room. I first noticed it at my University and at same places like coffee bars.
I don't see why would I have to change router settings, since my router was set up roughly a 6 months ago and everything worked fine including One X. Now One X is the only one which makes troubles.
I sent an email today to HTC with enquiry about this problem and they suggested me to try WiFi from safe mode. I did that and the problem still exists. I tried factory reset and I tried to clear Google framework cache like "One X master" mentioned above. Everything to no avail.
I've never dropped the phone from my hands and it doesn't have a single scratch on it cuz from the day one, I've been keeping it in protective rubber case. Only thing that I'm afraid of is heating during normal use over time. My phone definitely doesn't heat too much, cuz I'm an average user, I mostly use it for facebook, whats app and calls/sms. I don't play a lot of games on it, especially not some really demanding that could heat phone too much, but could just phone's material expand over time during use and heating, so that it causes some parts of WiFi antenna to separate or something like that?
Anyways, I hope so they release 3,19 soon, so I can try with that.
Here is my thread....

I tested it really hard for a couple of last days . Tried everything and anything that is possible. From factory reset to safe mode, to various apps and options and to no avail.
However, today I noticed that when I connect on my WiFi while I'm near the router I will have full bars and full speed, and as I'm leaving my room and going to other room signal is still decent and I get decent speed, but the if I just make couple of more steps in my living room from the entering doors to living room signal will go to one bar, one dot and eventually disconnect and it will not be able to connect again from that place, so I have to go to my room again where is my router or in the hall and I will connect again and that's how it is going.
I didn't try to root phone nor I will root it until my warranty expires. 550 € is so much for, by all means overpriced devices, I mean in general. You pay them that much for phone and it is still able to screw you up, especially when I'm almost sure that my problem is not related to One X common wi fi problem with squeeze test.
However someone mentioned that next update 3.19 will fix "Wi-Fi reception bug", but I couldn't really find what to they mean by that. Do they admit that there is some kind of issue here with software, or they will just "improve" Wi Fi reception for the devices that are working normally.
Today, I did a factory reset from the bootloader mode, and first 10 minutes after the reset everything was working fine, I was really excited, but then after some time, things didn't go so well, so I got problems again. Connected but no data transfer, or connected but after some time disconnect...
I'm really pissed of. Don't see any logical explanation why would it work after factory reset from bootloader mode, and then fuc* me up again.
I received new 3.20 update today and after some time spent testing WiFi it seems that WiFi is working perfect, just like before. So far so good and I hope so it stays this way. You can lock this thread if you want to. Thanks for help
I recently reverted to stock on my at&t note 2. I am having wifi issues. The phone gets a strong signal from my router (-50) but I get authentication errors connecting if I am not very close. Standing 5 feet from the router I get terrible throughput. I am running dd-wrt and can see that the router is only getting -90 signal from my phone. Every other device is much stronger.
I have tried disabling wifi power save mode and have tried the OTA update to ucamh3 baseband.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
With a weak or malfunctioning wifi setup over multiple roms ....I might suspect a bad antenna ??
Not a for sure thing...but it should be considered...
Several of these devices were returned early on with antenna issues...
With a pure stock UCAMH3 rom running...wifi has been excellent...
I would try a clean slate data reset in recovery...and a router reset as well...
Then set up the wifi again on the device...
It's a long shot...but is certainly a good first step in diagnosing the device and the antenna...
Does the device suffer the same in other wifi areas ??
If not...look back to your home system....g

Thinking it might be a bad antenna, I ordered a replacement housing which (to my understanding) includes the WiFi antenna on the Note 2. No luck. I'm going to try another ROM to see if I have any better luck. If that doesn't work, might buy a new router. I'll update if I find anything that fixes my issue.

I'm on CyanogenMod now with no improvement. Router sees strength of -85 and SNR of 9 when I'm 5 feet away from it.
exact same issues here with i317. wifi worked great for about a year while rooted, and running multiple roms. i loaded SkyNote4.3 and it's been down hill ever since. I'm currently on DN3 4.3 and it works fine if i am close to my router as well. have S4, and Nexus 7 on same router, and they work fine with great signal, so it's not the router. I even removed security from my wifi as a test, and same results.
I have tried reverting to 4.1.2 and still no change. Appears to be SNR related at the moment, as my other wifi devices have 38-50 SNR values on DD-WRT, but my i317 has 10-12. No microwaves or any of that jazz going on, all 3 of these devices sitting next to each other when pulling values.
still investigating, but if anyone has any suggestions i'm open to ideas at this point.
what has been tried: reverting to 4.1.2 stock firmware from sammy, 4.2 bootloaders, 4.3 bootloaders, different modems, different kernels, different roms.
I got a replacement Note 2 from AT&T for this reason. I Googled the problem and found many mentions of it, so I called AT&T and had the CSR Google the problem while I was on the phone..
Of course I hadn't opened it up or anything...
I sent my phone to Samsung twice. The first time they just tried to update the software and claim it was fixed. That obviously did nothing to resolve the problem. I just got it back from a second visit to the service center where they replaced the mainboard. I haven't tried it yet, but expect that solved the problem. I'll confirm later tonight.
yeah, i'm to the point where i believe it's antenna related, and I believe it's on the mainboard. unfortunately it's over my 1 year manufacturer warranty and att is telling me they'd charge me the 200 deductible and just replace it. doesn't seem worth it to me at all. it's just odd that it started out of the blue with a 4.3 skynote rom.

I thought mine was antenna related so I bought a new housing. That didn't fix it. I read where one person bent up the contacts a little so I tried that and it didn't fix it. I never used to believe software would screw up the hardware, but I really believe some firmware has a bug that's pushes too much power to the wifi transmitter and damages it. That's just a hunch from a few posts I've read. It sounds like this may have happened to people with a Samsung OTA update.
If I were you, I'd log onto Samsung's site and just double check that you don't have any warranty left with them. If not, I'd even try chatting with them expressing disappointment in the device. let them know that apple geniuses would take care of you anyways. Maybe they'll be generous.. worth a shot.
So good and bad news. After getting my phone back from Samsung the second time, wifi authentication issues and drops are gone. The strength is good enough to keep me connected around the house, and speed is fairly consistent throughout the house, and is good enough for browser, etc. However, the speed still isn't up to par with other devices. I'm now experiencing 4-5mbps on speedtest.net (vs. ~20mbps on my other wireless devices). :/
I have had this phone a total of 3 days. I am coming from a iPhone 6 and previously had a Galaxy s4 and 5 before this.
This phone is annoying me. Its sad because its so beautiful and if it functioned normally, we wouldn't have a problem. Sometimes I want to throw this thing across the room.
Someone please help me with these issues. I rely on wifi and wifi calling.
Issue 1: When I am home and connected to wifi and wifi calling, my messages and alerts do not come to me when I leave the phone down for a while and it goes to sleep. I will pick my phone up and suddenly I will get all my text messages and alerts. Wifi sleeping is on NEVER already. My iPhone never had this issue, nor did the previous samsung phones.
Issue 2: When I leave my house, the internet connection does not work all the time. Today I left my house and drove somewhere and needed to use my gps. I had full LTE service, and it was telling me I am not connected. This also happened with my apps that also did not work because it was acting as if I was not connected. Issue was fixed with a phone restart. I do not want to restart my phone everytime I leave wifi.
Issue 3: MMS does not receive or send on wifi. I had this issue with prior galaxy, but I am shocked this still has not been adressed.
I also keep LTE voice OFF because like with other phones that have VOLTE, for some reason it just does not work that well. I am in NYC so its not a reception thing.
Those are my MAIN issues and would like some help with them.
The only other thing apple has samsung beat on is that with headphones connected, the apple blows away the samsung in terms of volume and sound quality. Its sad because I have expensive headphones that I would love to use all the time, so I guess I will have to buy an iPod touch when and if I sell the iPhone
Also the screen is very sensitive. I see myself accidentally opening apps when all I want to do is swipe across my menu screens. Not to mention it keeps telling me that hangouts stopped working, when I have it disabled already!
I am stock btw. Latest version, and battery has been good surprisingly. I do not want to root
Anyway, thanks everyone and please help and address the top two issues

As I said, I rely on wifi and wifi calling. I live in a basement apartment with zero service. Who would buy a phone that is almost 1000 dollars, and have to turn off services you pay for to make it work the right way? There is no way wifi could be turned off while I am home

Try doing a factory wipe, that usually solves issues like that.
Factory reset a brand new phone? Sweet.
Contact your carrier and request a signal booster, no charge to you. Then you can rely on data instead of wifi. Also start a complaint ticket for the phone, after a while they will send you to tmobile store and replace phone. Maybe it's buggy, maybe it's not.
But if you really have to throw it I'll come over and catch it.
Our phones must be total opposites because this is the best Samsung phone I have had, this makes # 4, Captivate, GS2, SG4 and now the S6e.
But you never know, visit the Tmobile store, remember that you have 14 days to be totally satisfied, that means replacement with another NEW phone if necessary.
Pp.
I know your pain. The fact that you're on t-mobile for wifi calling and this garbage device just not cutting it huh. I had almost all flagship samsung phone and this one right here is the most frustrating and expensive one of all. This device out of box is just terrible. Memory management, wifi issues, battery leak, FC left and right is just what I experience. Honestly this phone is making me understand why apple is better. Not because the people are stupid. But because they don't deal with half of the broken process we do here in Android. Yea I agree apple is like 2 years behind android but wtf. Now with Jump on demand I am thinking to make the switch to Apple or continue to toss my phone on the table when upset that the device once again is not responding. But lesson learned. Not jumping on new Android devices on release. This phone is a testament why.
Actually the phone works great right now. Maybe it needed a few days to become normal. Battery life is better then my iPhone 6. The text issue seems to ha e gone away. I still from time to time have the issue of leaving my house from WiFi and the phone acting like it has no connection, which requires a restart. I wonder what is causing that. Overall I'm happy with this device.
I can relate to you on T-Mobile LTE, and the screen. Although the reason the accidental app opening while swiping I think was happening because my hand was touching the side of the edge screen. Hold the phone differently or put a case on it and will notice this issue is decreased or gone completely.
There is still a screen issue with this phone and I've noticed it when typing out a fast message. Touch inputs do not register sometimes. That issue has some what been resolved with the case and my hand not being on the edge, but the issue is still there. My Note 3's screen is so much better in regards to accuracy and sensitivity.
For a $1000 phone, this thing should be close to flawless but it does have quite a few flaws, especially with Touchwiz and crappy lollipop. My main issue with TW is the way it manages memory. I just wanna throw this phone at the wall and stomp on it. I'll be in Chrome, go to reply to a text and make a note in Google keep, or whatever, come back to Chrome and it reloading the page I was just viewing a minute ago. So damn frustrating.
I haven't really been on XDA as much as I have in the past, but what ROMs can we flash for this phone because from the looks of it, the dev forum is a ghost town.
In regards to T-Mobile's crud network, just switch your phone into airplane mode, then off, a lot faster than rebooting the phone. This issue I've noticed only happens with LTE, what I do is just go to network settings and switch to WCDMA ONLY, which turns off LTE and connects to HSPA only, which is more reliable and FASTER in my area. Hope I helped someone out there cause I just typed this all on my S6 Edge.
Don't get me wrong, I love this damn phone and wouldn't trade it for any other phone, but better believe I'm gonna swap it out for the Note 5.
This phone has fantastic hardware and the worst software of any phone I've ever owned. I can make compressed twrp backups in like 10 minutes. The screen is the prettiest I've ever seen. The fingerprint reader is very good. The camera is damned fantastic. The software is a pile of dog ****. Samsung should be ashamed. They should be ashamed because I just bought a heavily discounted Fire Phone and loading CM11 on it because I just can't take this crappy phone any longer. I'll check back in on the next update to see if things have improved. Until then I'll be using a phone that cost around 4.5 times less and will somehow perform better.
Funny thing is I have to reboot it if that problem ever happens. Airplane mode doesn't reset it. Weird
Going to have to disagree politely with the OP on headphone output quality. I too have an iPhone 6 and while yes, it has more volume, they both have enough volume to drive proper headphones and I find the output on the S6 to be extremely clean and more lively than the iPhone 6 output. Check GSMArena's review and notice they say it has the cleanest output of any smartphone they've tested thanks to the onboard Wolfson DAC. To each their own with sound quality, but I find the S6 to be extremely good, especially after the 5.1.1 update.

Nonsense! That sort of behavior is not allowed here!
Yeah nothing wrong with disagreeing. In my opinion it's much lower then the iPhone 6. It went from being fun to listen to music on my vmoda m100s to me wishing I could make it louder on my gs6. Also affected the quality in my car via Bluetooth. Much lower output. I guess every one has their preference
Hey
So I'm pretty confident this is going to be my next phone most of the reviews have been favourable and Googles support in terms of updates ect is a big deciding factor.
Just wondering what this community's thoughts are in terms of community dev for the Pixel? I understand is very early days so far so please dont jump on me. I'm just curios if we are expecting this phone to have similar support here like the Nexus devices did? I'm a flash-a-holic however when I got my Note4 here in the UK, somehow I got the C (Exynos) variant where else almost every other Note4 I've seen here in the UK has been F (SD805) so I've missed out on a lot of Non-Samsung rom's for the last couple of years, before that I was spoiled for choice with my S3, and I'd very much like to get back to flashing several times a week playing around seeing what I like and what I don't like.
Anyway again, I know it's early days and it's hard to predict the future but some opinions are best guesses would be really helpful to make my decision and hopefully get what I want from my device this time....
Happy Pixeling
The phone is buggy as hell - Bluetooth is buggy, Do not disturb mode is buggy, Project FI / cellular connection is buggy, sometimes Google Services just straight up crashes.
To be honest I prefer the less buggy experience with Samsung phones. This frequency of updates Google likes to advertise, it's a blessing and a curse, and for all the bad reasons - they need to update frequently to fix bugs, but with each new update, they seem to introduce new bugs.
I haven't had any issues with my Pixel XL? Maybe because I haven't upgraded to 7.1.1?
Samsung phones are slow and sluggish as all getout IMO.
I have no bugs, great battery life, and the phone flies. Best out of the box experience I ever had. With that being said, I to, hope development picks up. Think with the dual partitions, and phones lack of availability is part of culprit. Once those two things straighten out, well this is a nexus except for the name
No bugs to report here. Everything has been flawless so far.
Development WILL pick up. The Nexus 5X sold at half the price of this phone and it still took a few months for development of truly custom ROMs and kernels to get into high gear.
I have been loving the phone. I got mine at launch and have had very little issues. Everything is fast and stable.

I've had zero issues with mine on 7.1 or 7.1.1, have you tried a reset? I know 5 other people with the Pixel and they all love it and have had no problems.

Sounds like you have a lemon. Had a black 32gb and upgraded to a silver 128gb because I had run out of space. Both had no issues. I'm actually amazed at the speed and smoothness of the overall user experience.
I had an LG V20 right before I traded in the 32 for the 128. It was very underwhelming. Although I appreciate the larger screen real estate, it's quality just wasn't on par with the Pixels. Colour uniformity issues and general graininess. Also found 2 dead pixels. As well, LG's skin over nougat felt very dated. The hardware, while impressive and very well put together, was very clunky. The Pixels hardware takes a backseat to the fantastic software.

I am sorry to hear you are having so many problems. I have 128GB XL from the google store and do not have the problems you are having. I know that does not help you, just thought I would mention it.

No bugs at all. Dunno what phones hes using
I haven't seen any bugs either, dnd works flawless, haven't had any issue with Bluetooth, nothing has force closed at all. I do notice my Nexus 6 had a tad bit better service at my house (~3-5dBm). But the funny thing is that my n6 always had higher cell standby use on my battery.
To make it short.
no bugs, great battery ( much better as my Angler ).
Great Device
Love this device. Just got it Tuesday. No bugs that I've seen yet. Went right to 7.1.1 after unboxing so I can't speak to 7.1. I've used bluetooth for car audio, a speaker in my apt, connection to my huawei watch, and wireless headphones for running and have yet to experience an issue with that. No problems on T-Mobile here in LA either. Dont' use DND so can't speak to that. But overall very happy with my purchase!

Well, you see, if you don't use features then there will be no problems with them.
Bluetooth - many people have reported that the phone would automatically connect to a bt car kit but it would be in the state of "Connected (no phone)." When you manually reconnect from the bt Settings menu it would work just fine. That's a bug. It may have something to do with a particular car kit, but I tried 3 - Motorola Roadster 2, Jabra Freeway, and a Jarbra Talk bt headset. All 3 started acting up this way after 7.1.1 update.
Do not disturb mode turn itself on occasionally during the day, even though it's set to turn on only at night hours. Someone has suggested that this particular bug had to do with an Android Wear smartwatch being connected, as this doesn't happen when the watch is disconnected. I wish they would fix that.
Project FI just straight up disconnects sometimes for no reason even though I have 3 partners in town US Cell, Sprint and T-Mob. So this bug is probably due to switching to a different carrier, even though US Cell has -60-80 dB signal strength everywhere, and in principle, the phone should stay connected to it all of the time.
And when I try to fix Bluetooth issues and play in the settings menu, Google Play Services sometimes just crashes. It's probably related to the bt bug.
None of these are major issues, but they are annoying, especially bt because I use it all of the time.

I'm not seeing any of these issues. I use Bluetooth all day and my Moto 360 lives on my wrist. My T-Mobile signal in Boston is way better than it was with my 6p. I have never had dnd turn on by itself and I've had the phone since launch.

That's why they are bugs and not design decisions. They show up for some people but not others. Maybe it's a combination of apps or a combination of settings that are different between our phones. But all of these people who reported them, they aren't imagining these things. Please at least acknowledge that.

1. Never had any B/T issues.
2. I have had that issue but it turned out to be the phone turning on in my pocket. Other things would turn on too like Flashlight and hot spot. My phone digitizer is just too sensitive. I can almost wave my hand over it to make selections. I also have a Huawei watch and dont feel this has any impact at all. I did chang to the Microsoft lock screen to minimize this (and its nicer than stock and works with fingerprints). But I dont consider my revision of your issue a bug. More like something is just too sensitive on my phone. Which you could turn down the sensitivity.
3. Dont know anything about that.
4. Yes, I can confirm I was doing something with connectivity in the Settings menu and it crashed. This happened on all versions since release. I dont quite recall what I was doing. But yes, I confirm this bug as well.
Well I'm glad I read this thread.
The "Do Not Disturb" bug has been bugging the heck out of me.
Never bothered to check if it was happening to anyone else.
"Someone has suggested that this particular bug had to do with an Android Wear smartwatch being connected"
No Andoid Wear here.
And I always disable the screen wake motion/tap features to prevent my phone screen from turning on when in my pocket. I hate it when that happens and then you notice flashlight through your pocket or pull your phone out and all sorts of freaking apps have opened up and are pissed.
Otherwise, other than lack of development and the huge chins on this phone and the sucky speaker it's been the best phone I've ever had.
Dirty Unicorns is prepping to drop their first XL ROM so my development issues will be resolved with that and the eventual release of Xposed for Nougat.
I seem to have kinda fixed the bt bug by doing something interwebs suggested, Reset Network Settings. I can now work the Jabra headset and will have to try and test the bt car kit tomorrow. But boy, is it simply buggy just trying to troubleshoot this thing! Multiple times after the reset, the bt headset would connect to the phone and be in the normal state "Connected" but would have the "phone audio" feature disabled in a radio button inside the bt device settings. And tapping on the radio button to enable it would do nothing! That was new, never seen that before.
Then I would click the bt on/off switch from the notification pulldown menu, until the thing got stuck in the on position. After a reboot, bt was actually off. I enabled it and finally bt was working.
I got sick of troubleshooting and testing it, so that's where I stopped.

You should have seen Note 7. It was unlike any new phone before. I've had like 15 flagships on their release, and Note 7 was super special.
RIP!

Fugg Samsung and their lack of developer support and locked bootloaders.
I had every Samsung Superphone since the Galaxy Skyrocket and will never buy another one.
I do support Samsung otherwise though.
They employ thousands of people here in Austin, TX and are sinking Billions of dollars into the local economy. :good:
