Hi Guys
Today my Huawei watch 1 has got Wear OS 2.10 update ( previously android wear ). i installed on watch and my version now 2.10.0.188.
i guess its just a re branding name and nothing new as watch is still on Oct 05 Security patch level.
any ideas ?
It's because android wear designation it's dead. Now it's wear os.
Enviado do meu VKY-L09 através do Tapatalk
The security patch isn't going to be updated unless there is a firmware update, and there likely never will be. A Wear OS app update will never do this.
Uhhhggg. I really wish Google would have given the watch OS and the companion app different names. There's so much confusion around this.
What's your current phone's Google Play Services version? still sitting on 2.9.x here on my Oreo Stock Pixel
Is this actually going to change anything?

I just got my old watch replaced after a year, haven't been keeping up to date
Can somebody update me with the changes? I just read that Negamann ceased development of his ROMs because he got his watch replaced with a 2.0
Is there anything stopping me from installing his old HW+ Kernel and his ROMs?
Is there a specific order I need to flash kernel and ROM? (Kernel first, then ROM? ROM first, then kernel?)
If I want to return to stock, and I'm running custom kernel, do I have to replace kernel with stock before restoring ROM?
Thanks!

I have rooted my HTC One XT (S720t) to be at least allowed to do something with my device. China Mobile delivers the device totally locked up and hardly allows any useful software. Successfully installed Google market app but the ROM seems to have a feature to make sure it cannot be used (always crashed right after opening, others have also reported the same).
Unfortunately my company is bound to China Mobile so I was unable to buy a standard S720e if I want to enjoy 3G.
Rooting and and installing custom ROM was quite smooth and easy but it seems that the flashing the Android Revolution HD ROM has messed up my radio stack/baseband (at least within Android; bootloader still states the old correct radio stack).
I never had problems with the radio stack so I am quite new to this topic and have the following questions:
1. Do I have a problem or not?
2. I made a backup before flashing, will this also bring the radio stack back to normal? If yes, could I extract it from the backup and flash it manually via fastboot (device is rooted but S-ON)?
3. If 1 is not possible, can I flash the backup and then somehow dump the radio stack image?
4. Does anyone know where to get the shipped ROM for this device? S720t seems to be a very rare device and I cannot find anything. Have asked HTC but not sure if they will provide it to me to fix my device.
5. Does anyone know how to get this rubbbish China Mobile parallel market out of this phone and run the standard market (that would be already enough for me - I need Skype for my work). Full control for sure is always nicer.
Thanks for any comments...

Thanks, could you let me know why it will not work? Are the devices physically so different?
Have installed the ROM and everything looks fine besides the radio stack under Android stated as unknown. Bootloader states still the China Mobile radio stack (any idea how to backup this one so that I can flash back in case it is messed up?).
<Update>: Everything on the device works normally (also Wifi) BUT mobile is completely dead. After using recovery the old system is back but baseband still unknown and mobile network dead. So got myself a tablet for couch surfing now...

Finally managed to find the stock ROM, use the way described in the forum to get back to stock ROM and now everything is working again. Thanks, guys.
Main problem is, that the stock ROM phone is completely useless without apps. None of the apps that I have on my other phone are featured in the Chinese parallel market. No airline apps, no newsreaders, nothing. Just useless cute games and some standard apps and even the market application is in Chinese only.
A mighty phone - and nothing to do with it except listening to music, playing games and chatting. I am wondering how HTC can allow totally crippled phones like the S720t to be marketed. Crippled and no option to break out of the jail. Phone will go back to the shop tomorrow, even my Incredible S beats the S720t easily. This phone is a living brick.
i do have the same problem, could you help me, where you found stock kernel?
Sorry for the late reply, have been travelling...
I have downloaded a ROM from some Chinese filehosting websites (had to register first) and then got the file. Did a google check and cannot find my orginal DL-link anymore. Try to look for variations of ROM_ENDEAVOR_TD_ICS_40_HTCCN_CHS_CMCC_1.zip Can also upload the file somewhere; PM me how and then the phone can be brought back to original status again (check the stickies).
So far found no way to flash custom ROM (did not check for some weeks now). Easy solution to have access to software at least is to unlock the device and install the google app set manually, that will bring up the google market and that already made me happy.

I am in the same boat, i found this : http://bbs.gfan.com/mobile/android-4912638-1-1.html?extra=page%3D1%26amp%3Bfilter%3Dtype%26amp%3Btypeid%3D483
I initially tried to flash ARHD but it would not boot (bad boot.img i think), the ROM above works fine for now.
It is rooted and has Google Play.
If you flashed a wrong boot.img, that rom as the correct boot.img in the zip so you can extract and flash it.
Only downside is that it is slightly older (android 4.0.4, sense 4.0).
I will look for updates later as i just got the phone yesterday i haven't had time to properly look around.

Oh, thanks. That is actually the first custom ROM that I have seen.
Can you confirm that the radio stack is working/compatible?
I have Google Play installed now, just need to download the package and unzip it locally - but I would like to get rid off all this China Mobile rubbish and especially of their own app shop because it interferes with Google Play.
Might try that version later by myself (btw my original phone only came with Android 4.04. and Sense 4.0).

Yes all works fine and all the chinese crap is not there. only a Chinese webbrowser, but you can remove it and install what you want.
just before I installed the Rom I had the OTA which updates sense and the os, ARHD also has the updated software, but hopefully the guy will update the Rom soon .

This I understand but can't we just flash it with a different ROM from a different carrier? say UK ROM?
didnt he say he is running ARHD in the OP?
i didn't know this was released in china
is it confusing with all these different naming and devices for china?

Yes but he mentioned there was a problem with the radio stack/baseband therefore couldn't use his mobile.
From what I understand, the hardware for HTC One X and HTC One XT are pretty much the same. The only difference is the custom OS from each carrier.
So my question is, can I install any 1 of the custom ROMs from here for the One X on the One XT?
Any help would be great.
I think the HTC One XT uses another kind of mobile technology like SCDMA. Therefore, most ROMs here would work, but mobile wouldn't.

From what I understand, SCDMA is the Chinese variant of CDMA, and only works on China Mobile. You would have no luck trying to find a ROM here that supports SCDMA so try going on xda.cn

Currently in the process of download the ROM from the above link, which seems catered to the HTC XT model. I'll report back later.
Hi, today I've received an OTA update for my IdeaPad A3000-H (3G+WiFi, 16GB).
Old version: A3000_A422_011_022_140127_WW_CALL_FUSE
New OTA version: A3000_A422_013_025_140624_WW_CALL_FUSE
For now, the only thing I noticed was the different boot animation.
I have attached the image of the updated version (The language is set to Italian).

Hi there,
I received the same update today, but after downloading and rebooting, nothing happened, the update simply not installed!
After some useless retries, I used the CWM to install the archive from the folder sdcard0/googleota/ and it did work, for no clear reasons..
The difference so far I notice is only the boot logo ? but I believe there should be other benefits

Hi, its very strange... but its important that you were able to install it!
However, my device isn't rooted and maybe, in your case, CWM has blocked update... (this happened to me on a rooted smartphone!)
With this OTA update, my A3000 seems more stable, with fewer reboots than before (old version: once a day; new version: once a week!)

This new update is only OTA!
To get this OTA update, you must have the "old" version, dated 2014-01-27!
Then search new version, from Android settings (see attached image)!

Strange, this is never happened with my Sony Xperia tipo.. Anyway, you are missing a lot with your mobile not being rooted ?
I noticed the battery life got somewhat longer, there still no way to move apps to the sdcard.
And the Android version still the same ???? #I_want_Kitkat (Heh, don't be silly.. The update was just 3.5Mb or so)
I forget to tell you that it you use my method of CWM upgrade and tried to check for other system updates you will be greeted with the same update install screen! Don't panic, Your system has already been updated.
Fix: just remove/rename the Googleota folder and retry update check, You should be refreshed with calming screen that tells you how you already have the latest version..

You're right! On smartphone I have TWRP, not CWM!
However, for now, I'm fine with the stock firmware (In the future I will evaluate to flash an unofficial ROM)
The battery works two days (over 24 hours, tablet is turned off at night) of normal use (wifi on, 3g on, bluetooth on, several phone calls every day, several app with push notifications).
In addition, 16 GB are so many, while having numerous apps installed (more than smartphone).
In the MicroSD card (the other 16 GB) I'll put my music, pictures and videos made with the camera!
I think it's unlikely that we'll see KitKat on A3000... All I want is find a solution to the problem of BT headset that does not detect anything when I use voice commands or voice recorder!!
The stock rom is just too good to be replaced ? the only feature I really miss is CM theme chooser because I don't like the default white on black theme of the settings' screens.. Sigh, you can't have everything, this device is by far the best I ever had.

What network are you on?
The most important question, were you guys able to keep root, or install root after updating to Nougat? Thanks!
Yeah, with unlocked bootloader it's easy, just flash a zip in TWRP
Thank you Lonixlon, have you personally updated your X Force while having TWRP? I had a problem with installing OTA security patch as phone booted directly to TWRP. Do you know any workaround for that?
can anyone help this guy to share OTA file?
My idea, maybe stupid and wrong - Update arrives depending on the CID of the phone.
The version of the system says "retapac", which stands for "Retail Asia Pacific" - a retail version of the phone for Asia and the Pacific.
But I do not understand what is written in "On the phone" before upgrading to NUGA. Take on incomprehensible things, mismatches, in the version of Android, the Baseband version, the system version and the build number. In the build number is very old version of the system mpks24.78-8-12, in the version of the system is the latest version of the system with the upgrade to 6.0.1, but here the old version 6.0 and the old modem.
I have a lot of questions without answers ...

Well, may I express my opinion here too. I have an XT1581 Kinzie from China, it came with Lollipop 5.1.1. Workling perfect.
I go and update it to MM 6.0 using a Mexican or LKatin America rom, I keep the modem for the baseband from the Lollipop 5.1.1 Chinese rom, everything works almost better than before, not a single issue.
Now,m I tried to update it to Nougat 7 following the Google+ guide, a nightmare, although an enjoyable one!
First, I have only one sim working, no wif. Try anoth system, now I have two sims OK but still no wifi.
At the end, after many trials, I went back to my old MM 6.0 LAt rom, backed using TWRP, and the system is back to normal with everything working OK.
Did you ask me if I'm going to change? Nope, I'm happy the way things are, unless an official Nougat 7 ir 7.1.1 rom comes by, not loosing other time.
I agreemthere is a lot of confusion between the various roms and regions.
This news about the update and the video is very similar to the fake... Just why from such an ordinary case as an update do such a stupid circus?
not yet arrived in Indian version XT1580
neither for reteu.retfr
I have moto x play, is that mean android nougat not so far from us...??
Hey there, I have this problem. I see others had it as well but I could not find any clear/reliable instructions in those threads. Currently I can interact with my phone only through an USB mouse.
Because I'd like to remain on the official update channel, is there any way to do it?
Otherwise, if I have to flash another ROM, where can I find a reliable (original?) Nougat image, and how do I prevent bricking? (I flashed other ROMs in the past and have some knowledge of the process, but it was always cyanogenmod/lineageos. This time I think I might brick something with the downgrade).
Thank you very much in advance!

Any updates on this @JarlPenguin? I also have the same problem, tried downgrading to Nougat, a few custom roms, but still, the screen stops working after a while.

It's fixed on all up to date Pie ROMs and LineageOS 15.1.
Hi,
After being back on stock room, it says that updates are not available because integrity was compromised...
Build ppx29.159-24
Is there any way to get around this ?
Thanks a lot for your help
PS: of course I unrooted and relocked the bootloader, but it's not enough apparently
ppx29.159-24 is the latest build I dont think any other carrier has a newer build or are you trying to install that build, if so I had a problem with it and it hard bricked my device after trying to swap slots in fastboot
Thanks for your answer. But I also haven't had a security update since july... That's why I assumed it isn't updating anymore... Is there a way to at least flash the security updates manually ?

Surprising but true. Moto has not released any updates for this device with any later security updates than July 2019. So much for a flagship, from 2017 August though.

No. Not unless you compile the kernel from source, and managed to port the rest of Android framework. Though specs could be similar, each "device" - screen, touch digitizer, sensors, camera, etc. will have different drivers.
