hey y'all
after waving my carkit goodbye cause i thought it didn't work with android, i decided to try and connect the phone to my computer, heey Bluetooth keeps disconnecting as soon as it has a connection, thats sounds familiar, that was the problem with my carkit/headset.
mmm, but wait, i flashed 3 different radio's all the problems remain.
currently at cyaogen mod 7 rc2 and well, does anyone know how to get bluetooth working?
phone to phone file transfers no problem, everything else, doesn't work
any suggestions?

i use the bluetooth on my car's stereo occasionally and now have noticed that Skype won't work via bluetooth. i had never tried before(as i did not use Skype until after i rooted) so not sure if that's just how it is.
so far though, i have tried that RMK gingerbread ROM and the latest Nightly's CM7 release and both work just fine when you make normal calls via bluetooth, but with Skype it doesn't even register the bluetooth and goes through the phone.
is this a known issue?
Hopefully someone can help me resolve this.. I have been using a program called CALL CONFIRM DIY and it has worked great.. it has an option so that when bluetooth is on, it doesnt confirm the calls.. that USED to work fine until this past week when it no longer works anymore. even on bluetooth when I am in the car using the cars voice dialer, I get the CALL CONFIRM BOX on my phone screen. I tried a different CALL CONFIRM PROGRAM that also has this feature and that did the same thing..
what could be causing this and how can I fix?

Did you check the bluetooth box in the settings? I use it too and it still works fine for me.
There's plenty of posts about the Liveview not working. May be useful to have a thread about when it works just fine. Did you do anything in particular to make it work? What device are you pairing with? Are you using any additional software other than the Liveview app?
I'm using an HTC Wildfire. I initially had problems. Eventually, after I disabled the plugins, it is now working fine with no connection issues. I'm mainly using it to control the stock media player and it is communicating just fine, displaying the title of the track, and I'm now very pleased with it, although disappointed that I can't use plugins. (When I had plugins it kept dropping the connection. Liveview charm would just lock up my phone's bluetooth after a while and I would need to pull the battery).

I've tried 3 kitkat ROMs so far (Slim, Gummy, Beanstalk) -- and Bluetooth doesn't work on any of them for me.
Every ROM I've tried, BT connects, then says "Bluetooth Share Failed" or something like that. Then loops, connecting/disconnecting.
This is with Honda HandsFreeLink. Works fine with 4.3.
Anyone know of a fix? Is it just me?

UPDATE: Turns out it's only the 'bluetooth sharing' (of call history, phone book, etc.) that causes 'com.android.bluetooth' to crash. Media/Audio plays through fine.
