Hi , guys , i want new phone for next 3 years. I am not planning to root it by any chance. I am done with that. I want phone for 550 dollars max. Tried Note 3 ,amazing but camera weak in low light. Going to swap it for G3 or Z2. Now i have to decide. Want reliable phone , no rooting , fast and snapp , 5,2 inch or more , one of the best cameras , price 550 dollars max.
Thank you.
If its not theZ3, go with the G3. Z2 is "obsolete" in tech world. (Oh i'm so gonna get flamed for saying that xD)
We'll be getting Lollipop in a couple of days, its fast and snappy, and the phone has a great camera, great battery and a great screen.
Lowlight isnt impressive, but then again, which phone Lumias and the new iPhones aside is...?
If Battery life is your main concern, Then Go for Z3(Dont buy Z2)
Z3 Battery Endurance Can Differ from 5Hours SOT on heavy usage to 6.30Hours SOT on Moderate
Battery Life on G3 is Average. .. Coming from Moto E which gives me Atleast 5-5.30Hours SOT ON HEAVY USAGE, I'M disappointed In LG G3.. Feels Like I'M Regretting buying this...
Battery Problems Aside, It A very Good Phone/Phablet
I own a Z2. In a few weeks my wife will be eligable for an upgrade and will have my Z2 whilst I get a new phone.
Z2 has great battery life, easily the best of any android phone I've had (About 8 since HTC Hero) and camera is great too.
Low light is way better than any previous phone I've had. In a slightly dark room the photo comes out looking brighter than it looks to the human eye. Yes you'll get noise but way better than say One X or Nexus 4.
I'm thinking of getting a G3 rather than a Z3, for following reasons:
Looks. I find the Sony phones a bit boring. And G3 bezel impresses me.
Removable cover. This means I can replace the battery. My wife's One X is 2.5 years old and battery is rubbish now, it needs replacing. Battery life will steadily decline after 1 year so think how long u will have phone.
I'd say camera is fairly similar so not much difference there.
Battery life is prob better for Z2 but its rare for me not to have mine charging in work and I rarely have to have it last a long time without charging anyway.
So for me, a G3.
But you'd never complain if you got a Z2 instead.
Lets compare Zenfone 2 and Vibe Z2 Pro
I dont know what to buy..
Zenfone2
+Support
+MicroSD Card
...
-Battery life?? (it will be better in the future? maybe with custom ROM?)
-Maybe 10.9 mm height
...
Vibez Z2 Pro
+Battery
+Construction, materials
...
-Support
-Too big screen
-No MicroSD Card
...
Zf2 Battery life is already OK. I get between 5 and 6 hours SOT

Yeah. Don't take the b*tching of the few about sucky battery life as gospel. The reviews that I have read/watched dinged the battery but were comparing the phone to others with huge batteries or just whining that it didn't go for a week between charges. I go all day with mine with medium to heavy usage and still have juice left when I get home at night.
lenovo is **** it lags like samsung and does'nt even have support like zenphone.....lenovo heat eeven more than zen2
Battery life is pretty decent. My Nexus 5 was crap compared to my Zenfone 2. A day of light usage like today- check a few emails, receive a phone call, stream 15-20 minutes of music in the car, look up a couple of things on the web, and I had 83% left when I got home from work. Heavy usage will see me down to about 50-60%. The battery life has gotten a lot better with updates than when I first received my first Zenfone in March.
Need to buy a decent Dual Sim phone asap - have narrowed it down to either the Zenfone or the new ZUK...
They are both quite similar in price and spec except:
ZUK has USB-C and a bigger battery (which is a major plus for me!) - however it has no Band 20 support...
Zenfone2 has more RAM, MicroSD, NFC, FM Radio - however 2nd Sim is only 2G and it seems to have crappy battery life...
What should I buy?
who told you asus zenfone2 has got crappy battery life? phone has got fast charge and decent battery life. unless you don't leave your phone alone all the time i am getting almost 5 hours SOT. so which is better than most of phone on market. also asus zenfone2 ml551 fastest and smoothest phone I have ever seen so far(samsung s6,edge,iphone 6,htc m7 etc) so if you think what you paid for asus zenfone2 it is a brilliant device...

Sorry i forgot to say. i guess asus zenfone2 has got better support than Lenovo zuk z1
I would go for ZUK Z1, I think Intel and android is a bad combination IMO, heating and battery drain is causing me trouble. But overall Zenfone 2 is a great phone, very smooth. Great camera (beats the Zuk Z1 in camera) but the Z1 seems to have latest hardware like the USB Type-C and also supports fast charging and has a bigger battery too! And not to mention the fingerprint scanner. It is also backed by lenovo.
So for now it is better to go to ZUK Z1.

There are some negative reports about WI-FI signal strength and speed on Lenovo phone, look around for test and report before you make a final decision.
No heating for me.. Battery is manageable. I'm using the 551 with 4GB ram and 64GB storage. Lenovo support sucks balls and as far as i know storage is limited in the Zuk. Fingerprint and looks would be the advantages of the Zuk. But if you're a power user, you'd enjoy the Asus more.
I'm not a big fan of the looks of the Z1 from what I've seen of it. In terms of power, it gets 43000 on Antutu, so roughly somewhere between the 1.8ghz and 2.3ghz Zenfone 2 551 (about the same as the 550, but that gains from only pushing 720p) - similar enough to the zenfones not to matter really then, both around the level of last gen flagships. Fingerprint scanner and bigger battery are nice plus points over the Zenfone, but Zenfone has more RAM and SD Card slot. If you need data on sim 2, then you really have to get the Z1. If not, then I think it's entirely down to personal preference and cost. Are they similarly priced?
for me i would go with the Z1.
I was debating the same thing. I went with the Zenfone 2 in the end. It was cheaper (even the Z3580 4GB model), there's an active developer scene, and it looks as if ASUS will support it for a bit longer still. Oh and the main reason was that it has LTE / 4G band 20.
The Z1 looks like it won't support band 20 yet, but maybe someone comes up with some form of solution, who knows.
After having used the Zenfone 2 for a week or so now I think I could have lived with the Z1 not having LTE band 20 and the slightly higher price. The custom ROM scene will start up at some point probably, and until then you have a fully supported Cyanogen OS 12.1 with an update to 13 coming soon.
If you care about having a 2 day battery life instead of 1 day with normal use, the answer is Z1 as well.
Hello, this is a question towards long-term users of the P2: Is the battery drain higher than when you bought ur phone? Did it hange in anyway? Please tell me ur experiences and for how long you've been using the phonw

Battery drain has almost gone after s244 update atleast for me. No matter how long I put the device on sleep, I only get 1% drop on wake. No hanging issues in any apps.
Lenovo p2 And Lenovo VIBE P2 ARE the same device.
mine the battery is as good as wen i bought it but i am also running Lspeed kernel tuner in battery optimisation mode.

It survives lot more than that.

I had 16 hours of SOT at 50% but then I had only been browsing for half an hour. Normally browse about eight hours on a full charge.
Hey guys,
I am finding myself in a difficult position to make my mind on which phone suits me better.
I had the LG G4 for some time now and I found it really amazing. Always moving fast, reliable with GPS direction plus a nice attractive UI. It's main issue though was the battery draining so fast. For the past months my phone was always drained at the end of the day even with minimal usage. I ordered a brand new battery and replaced the current one just to see I can barely see an improvement.
On the other hand, I've been using my brother's Xperia XA1 Ultra in a trip and I was just amazed by this phone battery. It was performing at least 3 times better in terms of battery life and at the end of the day I still had over 40%+ of juice left. However, I had experienced trouble with Google Maps getting the compass to point the right direction I was facing and the back camera didn't really felt like a improvement for me.
Is there indeed an upgrade (hardware related) moving from LG G4 to Xperia XA1 Ultra? Is there something I can do to prolong my LG G4 battery life?

Latest aoscp or LOS with titan kernel will get the most possible battery life out of the g4. The display panel of the g4 is the main reason for draining so much. Replace it with an amoled one and you will get a week.. Lol.

I have two extended battery packs from power beat and an external battery wall charger so I never use the charging port
Each battery lasts me 27 hours with heavy use
