So far I have only received calls from my mom, who also switched to tmobile (both numbers are on the same account). No other calls from non t-mobile numbers have gotten through.
My phone is unlocked and I'm running OctOS N on it. Not sure what to do.
Same problem on a stock ROM?

I root and flashed my HTC EVO 4G to cricket using Jiminy rom.

2 weeks into having switched to cricket my phone has started sending a lot of calls directly to voice mail. Even when I have full reception and the phones are right next to each other. I went into the individual contacts to make sure the SEND to voicemail was off.
I checked my voicemail settings and they are with my number. I even did a NANdroid restore all the way back to the original ROM.
Around the same time as the problems started I had been trying to set up visual voice mail with Google voice and this other service. Neither worked, so I deleted the apps.
Has anybody have experience with similar issues?
I have the same problem and it sucks; so far, I haven't found a solution for that. And I honestly don't wanna change phones.
Im sorry but thats the way Criket service is and always has been.
Well I'm trying to figure out why my voicemail notifcations when I first got the Evo onto Cricket didn't work. I jumped around on ROMS and then they did work. Now once again they don't work. Problem is I can't figure out which ones worked.
As for your problem with them sending to voicemail directly. Sh*t happens. The only thing you can really check is with whomever called and see if it rings or just goes directly on their end. If its direct it might have some thing to do with your PRL or I have noticed that if my phone is doing something with the connection like syncing or whatever it feels like i won't get the call even though it will others. kingtheproducer is right though its Cricket and they don't care about a lot when it comes to customer service. Can't even talk to someone if your phone is listed CPE depending on the agent.
To get Google Voice to work you just forward your calls that you don't answer to your Google Voice number by dialing *74GoogleVoice# (not literally but your Google Voice number). As far as I know you can not port your number with Cricket to Google Voice. Just remember Cricket will not forward calls to a different area code so your Google Voice # must have the same area code as your phone.
Im not a big fan of Google Voice and how it sends you a billion notices for the same call. Never figured out how to get it to stop sending me emails, text messages and voicemail notifications for each call. And what good is visual voicemail when they cant transcribe the message worth a damn
Hello All, I will start off by letting you know I am running AOKP M3 with the i9250UGKL1 (though this also happened before on the previous stock radio i was using), I am also on AT&T in northern new jersey. I work from my basement and service is pretty weak, 2 bars - 0 bars(though it still says I have service and I can make and receive calls). Before this phone I had a SGS2 I777 which never had a problem like this.
The problem is that sometimes when people call me my phone never rings, and on there end it continues to ring until given my voicemail, normally when I wouldnt have service or something it would go straight to voicemail, therefore the person would realize i was on the phone, or my phone was dead or something, but the problem is the phone rings on the other end yet I recieve no calls, I use google voice and have it set up that when I miss calls google voice sends me an email. So it is very weird, google voice recognizes that the call was missed and went through yet my phone never received the call or even acknowledges it ever happened. I can also call the person back from the same spot the phone has been sitting with no issue, so its not like i dont have service.. Since this is an international unlocked phone, I am assuming it would be pointless in calling at&t and seeing if they could do anything about it, So I am just wondering if anything else is experiencing anything like this or has a solution, its pretty irritating!
So, I have a Nexus 7 LTE with an AT&T Sim and I'm able to receive texts on the mobile number assigned to that sim. Unfortunately this is confusing some that think they can also call that number which leaves them waiting for an answer that never comes.
Does anyone know how to trigger the call forwarding to my Google Voice number (usually through **021*1234567890#) without having a dialer? If I root it and put in the stock dialer (or enable it? I heard it may be there but disabled) will I be able to dial the forwarding codes? I know I can't make calls with the dialer, but I don't know if that necessarily means the codes wouldn't work either.
Thanks!
Update/Correction.
The number only rings for some callers (VoIP callers?). For most people calling my data only number it just tells them that I'm not accepting calls at this time... which is a little better... maybe.
I imagine some people are going to think that means I've blocked them or whatever. Of well. I'll just have to re-educate people to use my Google Voice number as they bring it up.
At least once per day, since the phone came out of the box (March 4th), and continuing after the subsequent update, I get notified of a new voicemail or missed call via my voicemail service but the phone NEVER rang. Nor does the call log show a missed call.
Unbranded, unlocked device purchased directly from Samsung. And generally wherever the phone is sitting when this occurs I have plenty of service connectivity.
Could it be an issue with having the Wifi on? Being as I am on AT&T I cannot use Wifi calling with an unbranded phone, so is that somehow interfering? I get 75-80% of incoming calls, no problem.
Same issue here. Exynos variant in India
Anyone on T-Mobile with the 5z? I have sketchy incoming voice and sms services with excellent signal. Missed calls and sms that just doesn't show up. I've tried auto config in carrier settings and manually selected T-Mobile US LTE for the apn. No difference.
I have this phone also on tmobile here in the US, no issues what so ever.

I have used it on T-Mobile without issues for 4 month. Before that I was on Metro PCS which is T-Mobile light and also a stint in Europe using T-mobile networks there - all with no problems.
I suspect GV is the culprit since zen ui doesn't allow configuring voice mail from anything other than "carrier".
I wonder if that changes in 9.0
Thanks for the replies.
I have the same.issue sometimes I get missed calls and texts it's not often maybe once or twice a week. I was going to try getting a new sim card to see if that helps

This issue continues...anyone using Google Voice successfully on this platform with T-Mobile? I just use GV for voicemail and some occasional sms on my GV number. Kinda sucks as I've missed some important calls and texts.
