Hey there,
I've installed TWRP 3.2.1.0 and LineageOS offical 14.1 ROM (Android 7.1.2) after xmas. I have made a upgrade to nightly build at 5. jan. 18.
Today I want to load the 12.2.18 update. System download the updatefile and want to reboot to TWRP.
But TWRP show me only the splash-screen and crash - and its start over. no update possible.
System has running fine until today, so how can I go back to normal LineageOS boot?
Please help, iI didnt find useful tips before.
UPDATE: I found the problem. I format the external sd card as internal memory. when i remove the sdcard while booting TWRP start successful. maybe a hint for a dev who's reading here.....

Hi,
I have a Samsung i8150 and tried to install the CyanogenMod 10.1 BETA (Build 4). After following the instructions and installing the ROM and gapps the phone gets stucked at the boot screen of cyanogenmod. Unfortunately, the backup does not work (phone stops at booting as well). So I do not have any possibility to copy another rom-image to the device.
*Any ideas?
Thanks.

If you can enter to recovery (cwm) , reboot to recovery then go to mounts and storage then mount usb storage and w8 for the pc to recognize your external sd-card then save put any rom-image you want to flash. Just don't forget to make a clean installation.
Note: CWM 6.0.5.0 has that option, idk know if yours got that too so kindly check it.
Hi guys,
Since 2 days I ****'d up my phone. I have been totally disconnected since then.
Trying to fix this situation ASAP.
I wanted to update from OmniROM Android 6.0 to 7.1.2.
I had unified storage or LVM, i don't know which, 1 single internal SD.
Wiping too much stuff in TWRP was the start of my problems is my guess.
Result: no internal memory visible (0mb)
After some time I fixed that. I went through the whole lot: brick phase, bootloop, etc.
I even poked out the power button and disassembled the phone thinking the power button was broke!
Then with a combination of the unbrick tool and others I am now in the following situation:
I can get into fastboot mode, but no ROM is installed, when flashing TWRP 3.1.1 I get a black screen when booting into recovery.
When flashing stock omni recovery 1.0 this works, but I can't do anything. (Installation failed)
So how do I go on from here?
I'm suspecting the unified storage/lvm is the culprit, keeping me from being able to install stock coloros 2.1.5i or others.
A lot of useful information from the old Oppo forums is gone..
Thank god for XDA! :good:
Any help to restore my daily driver would be greatly appreciated!
I've been roaming the forums for multiple hours and days at this point, flashing everything that has .img or .zip I can find... :silly:
*** Update: Using recovery 4.4, I now have stock oppo recovery v1.2.
When I try to merge/unmerge the partition, I get stuck in "Wiping, please wait" for more than 45 minutes, so I quit.
The status tells me: non-unified partition. So I don't know the current state of my Internal memory...
Still installing OMNI or coloros roms doesn't work..
Now, pushing files to the device gives me: no permission.
You need an SD card for this:
Get into TWRP using the recovery installer for find 7 (via fastboot) than flash the setup LVM zip after that use the recovery installer again to flash the color os recovery then flash project spectrum 1.3 for Oppo find 7/7a then everything should be repaired
This is the LVM zip:

Edit: I'll send you a personal message with a Google drive Link for project spectrum if you want
Hello, I have a wileyfox swift device, with Lineage 14.1 OS running on it, it has twrp in place, last night i checked updates and there were 3-4 updates all 410- 420 MB i choose latest one and clicked update . after downloading device asked to permit restart for installation.. i clicked yes and since then device boots in twrp automatically, i tried these so far:-
1. In TWRP went to ROOT data/data/linageos updates/ then i found a zip file 416 MB i flashed that, wiled cache and dalvik... still after reboot my device goes in twrp only.
2. In TWRP i went to wipe and marked every option then hit wipe, after this it said NO OS FOUND. so i placed linageos 14+gapps in my sd card and flashed both.... stilll i get same issue
i had even tried to reflash the twrp and tried above ..still no luck!
please help this is my mom's phone, she is leterally mad at me now
Today I finally wanted to update a Sony XA2 installation that had been running LineageOS 15.1 for quite a while to 17.1. But of course I wanted to make a backup first. Then I realized that to back up the SMS database I needed root, so I tried to sideload addonsu 15.1. For some reason that failed, and I tried to boot into TWRP to try sideload from there. But now the device only boots TWRP.
Does this mean that the LineageOS installation is gone now? Or is there some way that I can get access to /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db on the Lineage installation?

Hello guys n gals, I had a screen less s5 with no USB port. I've replaced USB and have attached new screen. While waiting on glue arriving I decided I could still root and install custom recovery(i got bored) Anyhoo:
I flashed cf autoroot and rooted device on android 6.0.1
Then I installed an old version of TWRP which put my device onto constant Samsung logo
(I have lineage 17.1 and Gapps 10.1 pico waiting)
I went back to odin and reflashed latest twrp, however once I entered SIDELOAD and opened command prompt I get the error "SIDELOAD is not recognised as internal or external command"
I've also tried putting the lineage and gapps files onto sd card formatted as exfat (tried fat32 also)
However I can't get the files to the phone itself
I'm also unsure the commands to push (if possible) these files.
I've came this far and I'm not wanting to give up as I've totally refurbished the phone from white to black. Can anyone give any input which would enable the installation?
Thanks in advance, looking forward to getting this going.
Respect man
GOT IT SORTED AND SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED HAVOC OS WITH MAGISK 20.4
