Wileyfox Swift boots into TWRP everytime :( - Wileyfox Swift

Hello, I have a wileyfox swift device, with Lineage 14.1 OS running on it, it has twrp in place, last night i checked updates and there were 3-4 updates all 410- 420 MB i choose latest one and clicked update . after downloading device asked to permit restart for installation.. i clicked yes and since then device boots in twrp automatically, i tried these so far:-
1. In TWRP went to ROOT data/data/linageos updates/ then i found a zip file 416 MB i flashed that, wiled cache and dalvik... still after reboot my device goes in twrp only.
2. In TWRP i went to wipe and marked every option then hit wipe, after this it said NO OS FOUND. so i placed linageos 14+gapps in my sd card and flashed both.... stilll i get same issue
i had even tried to reflash the twrp and tried above ..still no luck!
please help this is my mom's phone, she is leterally mad at me now

Oneplus 3 can't boot into OxygenOS after deleting file

Hey,
I wanted to create an nandroid backup in TWRP and got error 255 in the process.
I got the log of the failed update:
cloud.directupload.net/dfZq
So i searched for a solution, and the internet said that i should remove the file wich causes backup to fail. The logs said it was '/system/app/AndroidPay'
This is a file, not a folder.
So i removed the file, keeping an backup of it, booted into TWRP and the backup still failed.
To my surprise the boot into OxygenOS fails now. It shows the Oneplus Powerd by Android logo, turns black and reboots into twrp. Recovery and Bootloader seems to work fine.
So I connected my device with my computer and tried to get the file back to '/system/app' using adb.
I tried 'adb push AndroidPay /system/app' and it seems to be transferred succesfully, however the boot into oxygenOS is still not working.
I think it can be fixed by formatting the device and flash OxygenOS new to it, but I really don't wanna do that.
General Information:
Oneplus 3
OxygenOS 3.3.4
Rooted
Xposed Installed
No custom kernal
TWRP 3.0.2-0
File wich may be broken: cloud.directupload.net/dfZs
Is there an easyer way than resetting my whole phone to get it to work ?
I'm sorry for language mistakes or maybe leaving relevant information.
Thank you for help
I've had same problem today, my solution is restore "System" part (only system) from old backup, it saved my data and OP3 works fine after that
Wipe system, then flash OOS and it should work fine. If it doesn't Im afraid you need to do a full clean install since it isn't system related then.

getting a strange error after flashing CM13. Details inside the post. Please help!

I had CM13 on my Oneplus 3, and saw that there was an update. Turns out it was for CM14 and it wiped out my recovery(after further googling, I found out that it's a known issue - http://forum.xda-developers.com/onep...icial-t3497425). So I flashed the custom TWRP recovery from that.
Then I proceeded to flash my last working update of CM13, and the ARM64 6.0 Nano GApps immediately after. I then wiped my dalvic cache and rebooted. It started booting up and the preparing apps screen started loading. But when it finished and I was at the phone setup screen(the screen you get when you first buy a phone and have to choose language, wifi etc), it shows me an error named - "unfortunately the process android.process.media has stopped one plus 3 boot"
I looked the error up online and all results are to go into settings and modify google sync settings, or delete gallery cache etc. But I never even get to reach that point to try it. I flashed CM14 and ARM64 7.1 Nano Gapps to see if maybe that would work, but got the same error. Then I downloaded the last snapshot from CM site with their recovery, but same error.
Can anyone please help me?

Go back to TWRP --> FULL WIPE (also internal storage - save needed files on your pc before wiping) --> Clean installation of the favourited rom and you should be fine.

I wiped everything except internal memory. And although it gave me some error, I was able to reflash CM13 and Gapps to get the phone working again. Thank you so much!

Bootloop in all custom ROMs

Hello Freinds...
I'm facing a "some new" problem, and I really need your help
I have a C2005 with TWRP 3.0.2-0 and unofficial LOS 14.1 flashed on it, and everything was working fine.
Then, I decided to update the hosts file and get rid of some Google Apps with clean install -I always do clean installs from time to another-.
So, I edited the gapps-config file and created a flashable zip for the hosts file, rebooted into TWRP, Wiped everything (dalvik, system, cache, data, internal), flashed ROM, dual SIM patch, hosts file, and finally GApps -everything as usual-, then I rebooted into system, but this time, the device went into bootloop.
P.S: The only different thing this time is that I was using xposed module (GravityBox) to set navbar height to "0", and another module (xposed edge) to set some gestures, and I rebooted into recovery and wiped everything -as mentioned above- without deactivating those modules.
I tried to clean install the ROM zip only, in case there was something wrong with the zips I made, and even tried another ROM (PecanCM's AOSP 7), but nothing happened, still bootlooped...
Finally, and as final solution, I tried to begin from zero, so I flashed the stock ROM ftf with Androxyde Flashtool and the device booted successfully into system and worked very fine, then I reflashed TWRP with ADB ......., sideloaded LineageOS.zip (Followed the LineageOS installation steps explained in LineageOS Nicki Wiki step by step)........, but also Still bootlooped!!!!
P.S: Into the Install Zip page in TWRP, I noticed this message (this operation may install incompatible software and render your device unusual) for the first time, I do not know if it is normal or not.
Please, Any body know if there is any logical reason for this?, please help me :crying::crying:
Thanks in advance

SM-T320 is rooted, but no "advanced" in recovery mode

I apologize if this has been covered before, but several searches haven't turned it up.
I'm trying to upgrade my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 to Android 7.1 and I'm running into a roadblock in the recovery mode. I have options for Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe cache partition, but there's no Advanced option, so I can't wipe the Dalvik cache.
The tablet is rooted -- I checked it after running Odin, and even ran Odin once more to be sure -- and I had Debugging checked under Developer Options, so I think I should be seeing the Advanced option, but it's not there.
I tried installing the new OS anyway, but I got failure messages, and then the tablet rebooted itself to 4.4.2, still rooted. I've restarted Developer Options and re-checked Debugging.
I must be missing something, but I can't see it. Thanks in advance.
This is driving me insane. Every time I think I'm making progress I run into a roadblock. At this point I'm just trying to load/install TWRP recovery so I can do a thorough wipe, including the Dalvik cache, but although I can find the flash file in my file manager, TWRP doesn't see it.
On the tablet's own storage TWRP starts its search at emulated/0, but I can't find folders in the file manager called emulated or 0. It will also look in sdcard, but even though I've copied the file there, TWRP doesn't see it, although it seems to be looking for "extsdcard." It also doesn't see zip files I've downloaded to the sd card, if that matters. It seems that TWRP can only find folders, not files.
I uninstalled and reinstalled TWRP, but it's the same. So I uninstalled TWRP again and tried to go with CWM, but it's not compatible with my tablet.
Part of me knows there must be a solution somewhere, but this has just about reached the point of "life's too short." If anyone can offer any help, it would be greatly appreciated.
I've finally had some success! I found instructions for installing TWRP with Odin, and they worked. And so, I expect, did the TWRP backup of the tablet's OS. All I need now is a Nougat 7.1 download that works; the one I have now:
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 Lineage OS 14.1 [mondrianwifi] [Android 7.1.1 Nougat]
...isn't working. TWRP attempted the zips I downloaded (OS and GAPPS?) but the verification failed. So at this point I can only boot to TWRP. If I just start the tablet normally, it hangs at the Samsung logo screen, and while I can turn it off, it starts itself again after 10 seconds or so, requiring a boot to TWRP and shut down from there.
I'm hopeful I'll find downloads that work, but some of the links I've found appear to have expired. I should be able to go back to 4.4.2 from the backup, but since I've gotten this far I'd like to follow through. It looks like I have more searching ahead of me.
More success! I found the following link to the OS and downloaded the Pico GAPPS as that author suggested, and it worked! My thanks to Marc0601!

Redmi note 8 (ginkgo) When booting LineageOS reboots to recovery

Hello all.
The phone had an older unofficial LOS build installed (lineage-17.1-20200808-UNOFFICIAL-ginkgo.zip) but Bluetooth wasn't working.
I tried to install "lineage-17.1-20210927-nightly-ginkgo-signed.zip" via TWRP: I formatted DATA, then did a standard wipe, then installed via zip file on physical 64GB SD Card. But after rebooting I see the LOS animation for about 3.5 minutes then the phone reboots back to TWRP.
I installed official MUI (miui_GINKGOGlobal_V12.0.6.0.QCOMIXM_cfcf7038bd_10.0.zip) just to see if it will work and it booted without problems (and BT is working).
I tried LOS again, still doesn't work. I tried wiping EVERYTHING, including system, still the same. I tried with the LineageOS recovery - still the same but this time when it gets me back to recovery I get a message saying it failed and asking to try format DATA. I agree and let it do the format but still the same result.
I don't know what else to do and I need a phone because mine is broken!
Any advice?
