The easiest is to use TiBU and uninstall some system apps like Gmail which can be later downloaded as user apps from PlayStore, if needed. You can also use the debloater app available in XDA.

Hello,
I have noticed some of the custom roms don't have all the stock apps. Is there a way or a link to download certain stock apps such as Calculator, Calendar, Voice Recorder, etc.
Thanks

Drop them in /system/app. In Root Explorer, make sure the OWNER is set to root for both dropdowns, and also change the permissions on them to the same as one of your APKs already in /system/app. I can't remember if you have to install them the normal way or not - I think a reboot is all you need.
That list needs to be updated for our S2. There are things like
DMSForwarding
DMSLawmo
GBA Service
Would love to know what those are for.

I can't update facebook app in play store . It's said cannot update. I tried to delete facebook with systemapp remover then re-install it again. But it still can't install in error message. Someone please help me. Thank you
Ps. Sorry for my broken English.
I've solved it :
With TitaniumBackup, transform the Facebook app to a user app.
Uninstall it and download it from the PlayStore.
Same for Street View !

With Titanium Backup, you have the possibility to make a system app a user app.
I've done it, then uninstall it, and downloaded it again from play store...
After that my update was ok !
PS : It's possible you don't need to transform the app to a user app... Perhaps you just have to unistall it with TB or a root unistaller...

The device is not rooted yet,
When i go to application manager -> Hangouts
i do not see uninstall button. All what I see is, 'Force Stop' & 'Turn Off'

Could anyone please guide me through. Many thanks in Advance.

http://code.google.com/p/sawsan-android/downloads/detail?name=GTalk_4.1.2-509230.apk
google still supports Google talk.
I have same on my Galaxy Note which has got it pre-installed.
I am just not opting for the update play store prompts me to do and this is how I can enjoy gtalk
Please help
Firat you can't uninstall hangouts because it's a system app, and turning off dond't let you install talk.
Your apk works fine on my phone.
The only way to uninstall a system app is to have root access

To remove junk system apps I prefer to use '/system/app remover', it is still available from the play store. Basically you select the app you want to remove and then reboot (you can select multiple apps to remove before rebooting too). Once you have rebooted you go into your system settings > apps and then uninstall the apps as they will have been made into regular apps.

I found this these application authors - when I searched '/system/app remover' on on Google Play Store:
"jumobile" - System app remover (ROOT)
"ljmobile" - System app uninstaller
"Intellectio Pte. Ltd." - Root App Remover
Please confirm if the one you mentioned is on this list
And thank you so much for your help.

Sorry, the name I had given was slightly wrong. It is in fact /system/app mover. See the attached screenshot for the publisher name too.

Good day! Can someone please share original AlwaysOnDisplay (AOD.apk) &HorizonLight APK from OxygenOS 12.1 Android 12 DN2103_11_C_01?
Unfortunately, i installed custom APK's from apkmirror and broke my AOD&HorizonLight, as a result notification icons on AOD does not show at all, i cant choose canvas and horizonlight is not working too.
I dont want to make full backup, hard reset and re-flash my device, that's too much time consuming and risky.
I would really appreciate if someone can help to fix AOD and Horizonlight issue without loosing my data and settings.
Thanks!
You can uninstall the update from the apps.

when you have the apk what you have installed on the phone internal store click install it than you see the name from the app what will be update
and than you can search the app unter all apps and uninstall the update
maybe is it the personalisations apk (com.oplus.uxdesingn)?
