Lol yeah. It's not 100% perfect. All of my tpu cases are like that though. Sucks. My pixel 2 XL isn't like that though.

i just checked mine, you're right!
my china made tpu case got the exact same offset for the hole of the fingerprint sensor.

I just received the X-Level Vintage last week and the only noticeable flaw is the uneven fingerprint cutout. Besides that, the case, fits perfectly. The case is thin and has excellent grip! I know that it's not real leather but, it really feels like a quality suede. I'm super impressed with this case. Just enough lip to keep the screen from touching but, just barely.

same here!

my x-level guardian isn't "perfect" after looking at the fingerprint cutout, but it's nearly perfect.. good enough that i didn't even think twice about it until i saw this thread.. and so far, this case is IMHO, the only way to go with a curved tempered glass screen protector. Super slim, doesn't impact the screen protector, and the millimeter (or less) that the fingerprint sensor cutout is off center, is a small price to pay..

How are the buttons? I saw a review on youtube and they have mentioned that you cant really feel the position of the buttons.

That is the biggest flaw with this case, the buttons aren't good. They aren't really buttons at all. they are just cut outs that allow the fabric to move. It is difficult to find and operate the buttons. Would have been better to just expose the device buttons than what they did.

Agree, if the buttons were better this would be a great case however the way they are makes it difficult at times to find the button you want, let alone use it.

I have this for the pixel 2. The fingerprint cut out isn't that off and it's really thin. My biggest problem with most TPU cases are they have a smooth exterior which eventually just leads to a perpetual oily film that constantly is present. It's always been the issue for TPU fingerprints and oily. Also they are generally more bulky.
Ringke fusion is the other I have used besides this but the cases is a good one compared to many I've used in the past

I got this one on eBay. If you want minimal, it's great. Good grip and adds nearly 0 bulk to the device. Been my daily driver for a while now. I also have Ringer Fusion and Spigen rugged armour.

some pics of this case

My only reservation with this case is with the sharp edges surrounding the USB-C cutout, as several reviewers had mentioned. What are your thoughts on this? I tend to rest the phone on my pinky to use as a sort of shelf, and this edge might be irritating. I'm wondering if the edges could be filed down with a fingernail file or some such tool.

Always my favorite case manufacturer: Diztronic TPU

Hey guys, decided the Moto X is indeed the phone for me...so I ordered a case. I've been using a Diztronic case for a few years now on various phones and always liked them. They're sleak and they provide just a little extra lift to keep the screen off the pavement if you drop it face down. Pretty much all I could ask for.
Anyway, the Moto X Diztronic case is stellar. Here's a few pics:

...now I just need to wait for the Cardninja I ordered and I'll be set. It's funny, a few years ago, it was 'never leave the house without phone, ipod, wallet, keys'. I dropped the iPod a few years back, and think I'm finally dropping the wallet. Now, I just need NFC to start my car and I'm set.
Agreed. Picked up the clear case and love it!

I got the matte black, and this case is awesome: fits perfectly, adds very little bulk, feels great, and it's cheap! Only downsides are it covers the back of the device and the buttons, which actually doesn't bother me because I just have the plain black verizon model. It also covers the dimple which I know bothers some people. Lastly the lips around the screen make it a little difficult to get your thumbs to the edge of the screen, which makes it a little difficult to drag app icons to a different home screen. No big deal though.
Too bad it doesn't have an indent for the dimple or at least a cutout for it
the hyperion is 99% the same, but has the dimple.
http://www.amazon.com/Hyperion-Moto...-Packaging/dp/B00CXLY9KG/ref=pd_sim_sbs_cps_5
I bought both the Hyperion and the ditztronic. The ditzrtonic seems slightly slimmer and has much better buttons than the hyperion. I like it better overall besides not having the dimple...So what i did was i took a hallow hole punch and made a dimple hole in the ditztronic.
I used something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000I1IWVA/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And this is the result:
I made it a little bigger than it should be because i was afraid if i didn't center it perfectly it would be off the dimple.

how does TPU react when being drilled? Did it wiggle about or just cuts through like paper? Really curious how TPU reacts to violent force.

I used a hallow hole punch. You don't drill with a hallow hole punch, you hit it with a happer. It took a lot of hard banging but it cut it pretty cleanly. You also have to hold the punch down pretty well so it doesn't move/bounce around. I practiced on the hyperian case becuase i didn't plan on using that case. For some reason the hyperian case was a lot easier to put a hole in.

While the punch is a cool idea, I would be interested in finding a case that actually has an indent for your finger AND protects the back of the phone.

Sorry, I guess I'm still not making my wishes clear
A case that does not have a physical cutout for the dimple, but a case that is dimpled itself that is contoured into the dimple on the X. Does this make a little more sense?
Can those with the clear case confirm if it gets dirty, especially along the corners? My wife as the griffin white reveal and the corners look terrible.

I have a clear one (it's frosted on the inside, so not _completely_ clear). Had it since October when I got the phone. With my white phone in the case, it looks pretty grey now, especially on the corners and edges. I don't really mind, since it keeps the phone white!

The buttons on the SUPCASE are pretty bad, unfortunately. I have one and love it otherwise but never use it because of that reason - mostly use my bumper case that has great button feedback.
Diztronic are then only cases I will buy. Love it on my Moto X.

Just moved from a Hyperion to a Diztronic because the headphone port on the Hyperion was too small. Both are good cases, but man the Diztronic seems slippery to me compared to the Hyperion - it's almost flown out of my hand a couple times over the past few days. Really nice case though.

I felt the same way, but I also have this case for my 5x and it sits perfectly flush
Mine should be here shortly too, ordered this one and the Imak clear.
The Imak fits nicely and looks good, just a bit of a sharp edges but nothing compared to the Spigen clear case.
I'll post some pictures here later
Iv been using it for a few weeks. it is very good, better than other tpu cases. very thin, perhaps too think for my liking. And it attracts fingerprints. Personally i would go for a Spigen Hybrid, however for the price its very good.

My Spigen Ultra Hybrid has flash glare. Is there any clear case right now that doesn't? Along with not having a stupid top cutout for the non-existent IR blaster?
Edit: Just noticed on Amazon the Spigen Ultra Hybrid has been redesigned according to their product pics.

I have found some interesting TPU covers for the 10 on aliexpress, called ''frosted'' which should fix the fingerprint magnet problem, I am thinking of ordering one to try, and get a Nillking Nature now while waiting for it (it can take up to 6 weeks), though I dunno if it's better to take the white or brown frost color for the grey 10...

Bought a Nillkin Nature transparent for my 10, it's really good, it's a high quality TPU not the cheap oily one, everything is protected : buttons,corners,sides,camera... I also like the fact that it's 1mm elevated above the screen so you can put it face down on flat surfaces and Cardboard VR
The whole case is very thin and very transparent showing the beauty of the 10, holds well in the hand with anti-slip texture on the sides.
What I didn't like though is the USB protection and anti-slip textures that can feel a bit harsh.
I hope it won't get ugly after a while like many other TPU covers (scratches)
Got the case a few days ago, fits nicely, is flexible and covers a bit better than the Imak clear case.
Also is the thinnest I've found so far. The cutouts are properly aligned and there's no sharp edges like on the Spigen or Imak.
Not so fond of the branding on the back but it is pretty subtle.
Fits nicely, covers the USB-C port, you can like it or not, so far I'm not unhappy with it and it protects from dust and debris getting in there.

It doesn't feel too bulky. I really like the size with it on. Volume buttons work great! It is shiny but I like how you can still see through the case to see the v20 on the back.

Thx my friends
I almost purchased one last night until I viewed the camera lense protection. It's pretty much flush with the case. With all hand full of v20 camera lense shatters being reported I feel the lense should be recessed a little more.
The case did have fantastic protection around the outside edges. Best I have seen to date for a V20, the phone would literally bounce when hitting the ground.
I got that same case when I bought the phone, I like it a lot and it reminds me of a ringke case (my favorite case maker and my last 3 phones have used them) i noticed that the large cutouts on the bottom actually fit my pinky well when holding the phone with one hand.
I normally wouldn't get a case from the store since they are so over priced compared to online but this phone was too slippery to risk waiting for a case to arrive in the mail.

I just picked up a UAG at my local ATT yesterday. They just got them in. Case is above camera lense at estimated 3/16 of an inch. I like it a lot and not too large. Call around maybe you can go compare at your local ATT and decide which you like best

Where did you get it from?? I've looking all over for it. It 's not even available on the tech21 website
Tmobile carries it.
I'm late, but I can say that the tech21 case is pretty good. It looks cool, nice to hold, does a good job of protecting the phone. I would trust the Case-Mate Tough I had on my Galaxy Nexus even more, but that thing increased the size of the phone a lot. Fine for a small phone, but with the V20 that would have been way too much. I've also had a Spigen Neo Hybrid on my G5, but that too was flawed. It was slippery and the shape was uncomfortable in the hand... there was a sharp corner.
So the tech21 is perhaps the best case I've ever had.

Pitaka's Thinnest Protective Made from Kevlar/Aramid for Pixel 2s

I just got the case, love it !!! quality is just as expected from kevlar cases. The camera is flushed with the case (i feel that it is slightly, just slightly raised to protect the camera which is a plus).
The lips of the case is not raise up to protect the screen though, but the edge is perfectly cut to the metal sides which makes it feels really natural to hold. If it is raised further, i think dust can be easily trap in side like the original google case so i think its fine for me, personally.
NOTE: this is not a carbon fibre case, its made of 100% kevlar/aramid. Carbon fibre as a case would have interference with signals.
PROTIP: when trying to remove the case, work from the buttom edge and slowly upwards along the power/volume side (i find it slightly easier on this side).

you are welcome i will do a brief review when i get the case, i have high hopes of it in terms of slimness, weight and texture.
Also ordered one, thanks for posting!
no problem man, hopefully, it comes with a tempered glass protector.

fingers crossed!

Wow. Really promising. **** it. Ordered.

Ordered it since 10 days. But its not released yet or shipped.. I remember the 13th of this month was mentioned as a release day.. I tried it before with another device, very very slim but high quality.. Real carbon fiber.. Very minimal.. But very tough.. And it has the coils impeded for the magnet car holder..
Found the case yesterday on the web by coincidence...as they offer free shipping also to Eureop, I've ordered one, as I am looking for a thin case. Also have a Spigen Thin Fit but the Spigen is probably not as durable as the Pitaka.
Now I only need a decent tempered glass for the Pixel 2XL and then I am ready to receive it next week.

I'll wait for the review but I think MNML nailed it by raising the fingerprint sensor, effectively protecting the lens because of the angle it creates with the edge. Even though the case itself sits flush with the lens.
And it's really less expensive.

As long as it protects the camera.. So am assuming its as think as the camera bump or so.. That fine with me.. But again will wait to see it in hand..

flip case with auto wake?

Anyone found a flip case with auto wake feature for the oneplus 7 pro?
Too bad OnePlus does not provide this cover with launch ?
Not seen the OnePlus version anywhere although there are some flip cases around in both Amazon and eBay.. I'm also waiting for the OnePlus case though..

The ones I saw on Amazon and Ebay are without the auto wake magnet function, still not found a nice flip case....
I ordered this one - https://nillkin.org/smartphones-acc...s-7-pro-accessories/nillkin-oneplus-7-pro-qin. Don't know if it has a magnet but will tell here when I receive it if someone does not beat me to it.

Thanx, not mentioned it on the site. I hope so
These look nice if a little on the expensive side.. I'd have sprung for one if there was some protection top and bottom. Still might.

In order to a do auto-wake the phone itself has to have a sensor for that magnet. The Galaxy phones have that, for example, but I didn't think the 7 pro has one. I'd love to be corrected if it does.

Thanx for the info
There are apps that will utilize the proximity sensor on your phone and turn the screen on when opening the case. I used the below app on my S8+ with my Otterbox Strada, it worked without any issues.

I know but I don't like that... Still waiting for a flip cover with auto wake..
Ordered this on ebay:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...+Leather+Card+Wallet+Slim+Case+Cover&_sacat=0
It looks similar to my OP6 flip case ordered directly from OnePlus that has auto wake/sleep.

Looks nice, hope it has the auto wake feature...
So I have 3 flip cases currently, ordered the 4th (the one that looks like the OEM flip case) that's going to be here next week.

You can see them all in the attached jpg.
They each have their pros and cons, none of them are ideal (the Otterbox Strada is my ideal case, a tank that's lasted my old S7e the past 3 years) and NONE ARE SMART COVERS.
The far left in navy is the one on my device right now. Like the form, the color, and corner protection. The drawback is that I question how screen protector friendly it is, as the sides actually curl in PAST the factory-applied protector film. Don't know if the case will will fit with a TGSP installed. My guess is it won't, which is why I'm using it now.
The middle one has the most coverage along the sides, but it's thin compared to the case I just discussed. From my experience with its 6T counterpart, it's relatively durable so it will likely be my go-to when I apply a TGSP. Don't like the form (full-length spine where it folds, front cover is not merged into the back case) as much as the other two.
The one on the right is the Nillkin, a brand I've used since... my Nexus 6? Love the form factor, hate the durability. Expect the case to last for about 3 months before it's starts cracking, chipping, tearing. This one lasted 3 minutes -- one corner cracked when i put the phone in. WTF.

I'd be willing to pay Otterbox more money for a OP 7 Pro Strada case. Such a great case.
Brilliant review reaper000 thanks very much.
Dammit OnePlus get on with the official flip case.
I'm waiting for the Nillkin to be delivered. Oh no! Bad luck with that. Take your advice on the durability.
I actually prefer the full spine so that middle one might suit me. Prefer the complete cover on all sides too. My OP3 somehow got scuffed top and bottom in the official case. I don't seem to need the padding. Never considered the black but that looks ok.
Oh that damn kick stand fold.. Dino why do many cases have that. Hate it. Would try and glue the thing down.
Thanks again. [emoji106][emoji106]

This one says it's smart wake/sleep:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Official-F...5T-6T-7/153444097176?var=&hash=item23b9fb1c98
Just received the Nilkin flip case in black.
Pleasantly surprised by the quality. Soft cloth inner. Hard plastic full protection holster for the phone. Accurate cut outs. Hard nylon backed combined fake leather back and cover that folds quite flat and out of the way.
Doesn't sleep or wake, although the proximity sensor does already deal with that so not an issue for me. No magnet at all to help the case stay closed.. this is a smart minimalist cover that sacrifices ruggedness.
9/10 from me

It isn't mentioned on the site (maybe they removed it?).
