I am facing a little lag (very minor) when the phone is charging during touch input, when typing the response is a little slow an 1/10 characters are missed generally, also swiping in out and scrolling feels a little laggy.
its very minor not noticeable unless you look for it or maybe its my head, do any of you guys are facing it or maybe can try and confirm it, it may also be due to throttling due to charging heat though.

This has started recently and only seems to effect vertical scrolling. Swiping through homescreens is smooth as butter.
Any app that requires vertical scrolling is very laggy. Sometimes so bad that it will stutter and the scrolling takes off on its own.
I have tried numerous roms and kernels to no avail. I even get this on 2.3 as well.
It will even do this while in the settings menu.
I used system panel to check for an app that might be using resources but none are, at idle CPU usage is around 4%.
When I scroll up or down within the app CPU usage goes as high as 50%.
I have tried VM heap at 24 and 32 with similar results, also bfs vs cfs its still the same.
I'm beginning to wonder if its a hardware issue as it was never this laggy before.

I would agree and say it's hardware, or simply the LCD screen is going bad. If it happens on all different and kernels though, I would deduce that it's hardware or lcd screen. I've actually been having an issue, where like you said, the vertical scrolling will just take off, like i swiped super fast, but I didn't. I don't have any other stuttering though, just when it takes off and scrolls to the bottom of the page in a milisecond.

I think its the LCD as well. During normal scrolling when I place my finger on the screen and move it my finger will move 1/2" before it actually starts scrolling.

I'm pretty sure Sprint should replace that, considering it's not cracked or shattered. If I understood correctly when I read the new policy, if the screen has a crack of less than 1", they'll replace it, otherwise you'd need to send it in. Since yours seems to be defective, and isn't cracked, I would think they should cover that. I'd definitely check with sprint, and see what the deal is with that. If mine gets worse I'll probably do the same thing, but right now it's not enough for me to bring it in. I've had incredibly good luck with this Evo, I got it a week after launch day. Not one issue with it, ever.

I will probably go back to stock and take it in this weekend and see what they say. Thanks for the advice, I kinda thought I might have to take it in.
I'm almost certain that I am not the only one who has had this problem, but I would really like to know if anyone is working on it.
When charging my HOX, I notice a considerable drop in all aspects of the touch screen. I am currently running IceColdJelly, and have noticed it significantly when typing out an SMS. I would hit one letter on the keyboard and the tactile feedback will go nuts and i would have ended up typing out a bunch of Q's with a large amount of spaces.
More to the point though. Has anyone looked into why this happens? and if there is a fix? It is really making me despise my HOX, which frustrates me because it is such a great phone when not charging.
It's not a good idea to use the phone whilst charging. I've heard of heating issues and someone electrocuted answering the phone. I stopped making calls on my xe earlier because of bursts of sharp pain on the ear whilst it was charging.
I’m not quite sure the reason for it, but I too have experienced it from time to time with different phones, and I have also seen few others complaining about it as well. Are you using the supplied HTC charger and USB cable ?
Does it happen with all chargers (different brands etc) and USB?
Edit: somehow I missed the post above. Where is the delete post button?
I've noticed this as well. I'm not sure if it's for the same reason but when I had my old Sensation it was pretty severe and the solution was to change the scheduler (?) to 'on demand', if you have an option that allows it. This fixed the problem completely. It was something to do with having 'interactive' selected.
However, I'm not sure whether the cause would be the same thing with a stock rom with stock kernel.
Can't seem to put my finger on it, and I know the phone is plenty powerful enough to handle Electric Sheep smoothly, however often times the app seems to stutter and slow down.
The weird part is that everything else still runs like butter if that happens. I can't seem to figure out why.
Does anybody think this has something to do with CM10? Perhaps just Electric Sheep itself?
I got my G3 about a week ago and have been thoroughly enjoying it, however in the last couple of days I've been having a recurring intermittent issue with the touchscreen.
Essentially what's been happening is when the phone's gotten a bit warm the touchscreen stops registering long presses or swipes properly, and adds random break points in the swipe, this is especially annoying when trying to use the continuous input on the keyboard or add widgets.
Obviously the phone's still under warranty, so I'll return it if need be, but I was wondering if anyone else was having this issues or had any theories.
Thanks for your time.
the lg g3 is on top 3 list this fall and I did read about some of the heating problems
but based on your comments and the fact it is under warranty, I would replace it at your earliest convenience--:good:
I have to admit I have had nearly the same issue. My phone has been perfect everywhere except when it gets hot from a highly demanding game (demanding in the CPU Heat generation sense, games as simple as Angry Birds Epic cause it to get hot) and once it does, it gets to a point the touchscreen become much more erratic and less consistent on detecting taps, swipes, and holds. This digs badly into games since everything has onscreen controls and when the touchscreen looses its ability to detect touches, then all bets are off until the device cools down a bit.
It is not overly hot or uncomfortable to hold. The phone feels rather warm but otherwise everything looks and runs fine, just the touch input goes to crap for a few seconds then comes back. Has anyone else experienced this under a heavy load?
Have you resolved your issue?

I've been having a similar issue with my LG G3. I'm very pleased with the phone's overall performance but it has this touchscreen issue that's really affecting how I can use it. It has a great proc and gaming capabilities but I can't play some games because I can't rely upon the screen to register presses every time.
Have you been able to solve your issue? If so, what did you do?
Whenever I'm charging, I feel the screen scrolling being "heavier" than normal, like having a slow response and being more sluggish. Sometimes gestures are registered as just taps and sometimes when I'm glide typing on a keyboard, the touch response stops, and shows as if I lifted my finger. Doesn't do it all the time and is not consistent. Used the S-Pen to draw all over the screen to check if there are any dead spots, but there aren't any. I'm on the Exynos model, and I'm using the original charger, and also a Samsung wireless charger which also displays the same behaviour. I also believe it does it during a call as well, but I'm not too sure. Have tried with and without a case, increased and decreased the screen sensitivity, removed and reinserted the s-pen, and it still does it. Any ideas or anyone having the same issue?
Well, no, my exynos10+ behaves the same, charging or not charging
From what you're explaining it sounds like something is spiking your cpu periodically.
Probably an app or a setting you've made eg. Sync/backup when charging
I have not seen this on the note 10, but this has been reported on and off as an issue since samsung started making android phones.
Best practice to never use this phone when charging.
It will completely skew the charging power curve resulting in slow charging and warmer running especially with fast charging.
