Anyone having issues with substratum for the oneplus 5T? I'm downloading themes and applying them and nothing is changing after the reboot...like nothing is applying.

Hello, I recently flashed Sultans Nougat rom and after some problems with some of Substratums themes bootlooping I now wonder what black(amoled) Substratum themes are working for you guys? I asume that I am not the only one that really want this rom + Substratum. Share what you have found working and not working.

Swift dark and black will work.
Check Google for substratum legacy themes
I also reccomend Swift Black (my current theme).
You would stay quiet if your rom include OMS, that's a framework layer which improve Substratum theme support.
Ps be careful that you may encounter FC when app updates are massively involving the interface.
In that case consider to re-enable theme or disable it until next update.
So, installing substratum in O DP4 asks you for root, when allowed, in substratum settings, substratum appears installed and it says the rom supports OMS, but I can't apply fonts in substratum, so then, the rom hasn't got full oms support. Any way to fix this? Or i'm missing something? this seems curious

I believe substratum supports android O, it's just that most themes aren't updated yet. Could be different for fonts so hopefully someone else can weigh in?
For instance, I have Dark Accents for O and Swift Dark installed. Dark Accents for O works on the system ui and everything, but Swift Dark does not. Swift Dark themes some apps properly, but not all. It's using OMS, but I don't think there's many themes supporting O yet

It's weird, in nougat I could install fonts, in O, I can't. I really don't know why

maybe something changed. I can't find much discussion on substratum for O anywhere online, so hopefully someone can weigh on this
Is there something wrong with the flux theme on substratum, im running the latest stock android on a pixel XL. Whenever i apply the flux substratum theme it doesnt apply fully
If you are selecting multiple items to theme sometimes it doesn't apply on all you have to select them and install them again, at least this is happening on Oreo with me on Note 8.

Reboot the device and go to Substratum > Manger > Toggle/Apply All Overlays
Have you guys tried substratum themes on stock oreo? With magisk running?

It works fine. Only found a few compatible themes though. Liv Dark/White and Flux Dark/White. May be more I've haven't seen.

Thank you... I bought Liv Dark and it works fine...
All OOS 11 supported substratum themes are working partially at perfect level
But None of substratum theme is working completely on OOS 11 till now as it can't theme completely and it still can't theme apps under system/system_ext/ (Like Dialer App)
And that's because Substratum doesn't supports it and can't be until Google do something because in short Its something from Google end in Android 11.
Let see what comes in Android 12 OOS 12.
