flux theme - Google Pixel XL Questions & Answers

Is there something wrong with the flux theme on substratum, im running the latest stock android on a pixel XL. Whenever i apply the flux substratum theme it doesnt apply fully

If you are selecting multiple items to theme sometimes it doesn't apply on all you have to select them and install them again, at least this is happening on Oreo with me on Note 8.

Substratum theme engine on OOS- Works or Not?

Hi there community,
I just want to know if Substratum theme engine is fully compatible with latest OOS- built. I read that earlier versions of OOS- support Substratum ( Previous Layer)
I tried installing Substratum theme on 3.2.6 but got bootloop. Is there any TUT to make it work?
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using XDA-Developers mobile app
The substratum app won't give you bootlooops. The framework and systemui overlays might. I suggest you not to install the framework overlay when installing a theme.

Never install framework overlays on oos. And there won't be any framework overlay for a theme that themes the nav bar. Nav bar is themed in the systemui.
Some overlay themes for framework works with OOS 3.2.7 and below, but not compatible with 3.2.8. See here http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/themes/oos-layers-thread-t3407200

Substratum help

Hello, I have an Op3 Root Twrp v.11 with Fos2.1.1 and Substratum.
I had download the theme Swift Dark for use a max Dark theme for my amoled screen.
But when I open swift dark in substratum they are this message screenshot 1 for install Theme ready Google Apps TeanBlackout.
I had downloaded it but I don't understand all they are many theme in the app TeanBlackout ?
By looking a bit I think this is the theme that SwiftDark asks to install screenshot 2
But I don't want to brick my Op3 and don't know If I need to install this TeanBlackout Google Apps theme or if I apply the SwiftBlack theme from Substratum without TeanBlackout ? Screenshot 3.
Especially as with my Rom I can't apply in Oms but just in Legacy !
Please If you could tell me how to apply the theme. thank you.

OMS Support in android O

So, installing substratum in O DP4 asks you for root, when allowed, in substratum settings, substratum appears installed and it says the rom supports OMS, but I can't apply fonts in substratum, so then, the rom hasn't got full oms support. Any way to fix this? Or i'm missing something? this seems curious

I believe substratum supports android O, it's just that most themes aren't updated yet. Could be different for fonts so hopefully someone else can weigh in?
For instance, I have Dark Accents for O and Swift Dark installed. Dark Accents for O works on the system ui and everything, but Swift Dark does not. Swift Dark themes some apps properly, but not all. It's using OMS, but I don't think there's many themes supporting O yet

Substratum & Andromeda root question.

I've been enjoying Substratum w/ Andromeda to use rootless themes. However I hate that I randomly get hit with an app that crashes because of an update and I have to wait until I can get to my PC or laptop in order to start up Andromeda and update my theme (I'm using AOSPUI grey theme). That particular theme has been fantastic at updating but being tethered to a PC kind of sucks.
So my question is, being on oreo(obviously) if I were to root would substratum just us the root privs to apply themes like it does with andromeda and not mess with my system partition so I could take OTA's just the same?

Ozone substratum not working on oos beta 7

I am a big follower of ozone and have been using it since beta 2, but even after installing the overlays and a reboot ,the theme isn't working (even when it shows the overlay as installed in substratum). Is there any way to use ozone in oos beta 7. Amoled friendly working suggestions will also do.
Have you gone in and enabled your installed overlays after reboot?
