MOTO Z PLAY with the last update (Stock rom).
Seems to happen more often when connecting the phone to charge. In a few minutes when checking, it shuts off do not disturb mode alone.
PS.: Using the official charger.
factory reset
I tried uninstalling some applications first. But without success. It started working again only with factory reset. I think it's something related to the latest update available.

yesterday my phone was having difficulties when I tried answering a call. Today since morning, it was going off when the display got dim. So, I switched it off. This evening, when I switched it on again, it was having the same problem. So, I decided to factory reset. When I tried factory reset, the android icon was on display and after sometime the phone was on a reboot loop. Its trying to reboot automatically till now and failing again and again. what do I do now?

Was your phone running a custom ROM, was it rooted or completely stock...Did you install or do anything to it previous to these weird occurences.
Try flashing your phone with a stock FTF or use Sony PC Companion to repair your phone (it will wipe completely and flash back the latest firmware for your device).
Good luck!

signal lost an continuous rebooting
Hello guys, I realy need your help here.
Some days ago, out of nowhere my fone lost it's signal and started to reboot. The only way of stoping it is waiting while it drain 10% of my battery or more, or forcing shutdown by the OFF back button.
Does any one know what is happening?
I saw lots of posts about this trouble with xperia ZL and xperia Z, but I got no solution from this.
Thank you!
I have a stock, unrooted Nexus 5x with the latest Nougat OTA updates installed. Last night, the phone suddenly powered down in the middle of a call and wouldn't boot up again. Battery was showing a full charge. I can power up and it begins the android animation, but then shuts down again. I can get into the bootloader and recovery mode without a problem. Tried wiping the cache which didn't help, but I don't want to do a complete factory restore yet if there's a way to backup my user data (photos, some app settings, etc) from the phone. I have ADB installed on my computer. Is there any method for backing up that will keep the data intact? TIA
Does it show up as any device in your hardware device overview when connected to the pc (i.e. HSUSB_BULK?).
If so, it might be a emmc/cpu issue caused by thermal expansion / shrinking.
Really no long term solution; putting it in the freezer for 10 minutes or on the radiator might help for one last time booting it up for a limited amount of time.
Hey, guys, I'm having this problem for some time, it started one day, when I tried to open my camera, the phone turned off and everytime I tried to turn it on again, once it showed the lock screen, it turned off again, after some time, I managed to successfully turn it on, but everytime I open the camera the same happens (it was kind of ok to me, since I don't use the camera very often), but then it started happening with other apps, until I opened Twitter and the same happened, the problem was that this time the phone was turning off some seconds after the Asus logo showed up on the booting screen.
After almost a week trying to contact Asus support, I managed to turn the phone on again by trying it while it was on the charger, then I discovered that I can open every app and use the phone without problems while on the charger, if I take it off, the phone survives with no problems until the battery reachs 0%, but I can't open a few apps (camera, Facebook, Messenger and Whatsapp), actually, so far, Instagram is the only one that worked fine on my tests.
I'm waiting for the Asus support to answer my third message (the first they replied with the wrong adress and the second they didn't even answer), but I wanted to know if someone already had this problem and managed to solve it
Try to do factory reset and clean up the cache on the recovery mode.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I tried factory reset and I even reinstalled my ROM using Asus Flash Tool, but the problem persists
So got this phone about a month back; working just fine and smooth with Android one.
Was charging the phone when all of a sudden it shuts off and then goes into recovery mode, telling me that data is cooperated so Android wouldn't load properly. 2 options given:
1. Try Again
2. Factory Data Reset
Option 1 seemingly fixed it but the issue repeated again (randomly) so had to factory reset (option 2). Working fine but wondering if the above had happened to anyone else.
Since not so long ago I've experienced the following:
If I leave the phone two have low battery like 10% when it dies it enters a boot loop I cannot stop and I just can only plug it in and wait while it bootloops without being able to stop it and a long time later (20/30 min) it will finally boot up, last time it had 30% battery when it finally booted up.
What could it be? It may have been the last update? Has anybody experienced this?
If you did a major firmware upgrade without a factory reset, do a factory reset now.
Otherwise clear the system cache.
It it persists, factory reset.
If it still continues it maybe hardware. It could be corrupted firmware but trying to reflash may end up causing it to brick if it acts up during the reflash. Consider your options carefully at this point especially if under warranty or insured.
I have the same thing. The phone just starts to vibrate indicating a startup, then after a few seconds it vibrates again, and continues in this loop. The screen doesn't display anything.
I'm having the same thing right now, I tried wiping the cache from bootloader and charging the phone to 100%, but it doesn't seem to be fixed
Maybe on an unlocked bootloader it doesn't work? Something related to offline charging?

I have not had it happen lately the other day I had 5% battery and it worked fine.
I think it might be an unsupported charger?
