Hi friends,
I recently installed a fresh windows 10 latest build (16299).. I have 64 bit windows 10.. The problem is i cant install moto z play drivers on this build. I was able to install drivers on the previous build of windows 10 but on this build i failed... Motorola Device Manager is stuck at step 2 (Installing USB drivers)... I waited for hours but it is stuck... I tried closing and opening the app but still no luck... Tried restarting and then installing drivers but still no luck.. Everything else is installed perfectly including adb but i am unable to install moto drivers.... Can someone help... Without drivers i wont be able to even flash my device

Anyone??? I need to flash my device...please help

1) Install drivers from this topic https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
2) After that you will be able to manually assign Android ADB Interface driver to your phone in Device Manager

I already have adb installed and it worls fine...its just i am unable to install moto drivers on my pc... I even tried after disabling driver signature bull**** that was introduced in windows...

Those pack also contains proper ADB driver. You do not need separate Moto drivers, original ADB driver from Google will work fine too.
After installation connect your phone in fastboot mode to PC and go to Device Manger. Then update the driver of your phone in manual mode (when you have to choose from the drivers already installed on your PC) and choose Android ADB driver from the list.

[Q] SOLVED - ADB not recognising device

Hi guys, hopefully someone can help.
I rooted the phone using unrevoked and now have clockworkmod recovery on the phone. Tonight I tried to connect the phone to the android SDK with no success.
Windows device manager only shows it as an Android Phone. Everytime I try to manually install the SDK usb drivers, it comes up with a message saying drivers aren't available. I have deleted and reinstalled the SDK usb drivers and have also deleted the android phone from the device manager as well as USBDView. Have had no success whatsoever.
How can I get ADB commands working again on the phone?
EDIT - SOLVED - Apparently I had to reinstall HTC Sync and it worked! strange how these things work!

[HELP] GNex toolkit v5.6 - ADB problem

[FIXED]
For some reason Toolkit didnt work for me and i used this method to unlock bootloaders and root it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1362957
Also installed CWM recovery
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I installed my drivers and 1st time when I connected my phone in adb toolkit recognised it and showed his id. Next time when I connected it in adb it didnt recognise it in toolkit but windows recognise my phone and i can access it.
I've rebooted my pc every time and reinstalled couple of drivers:
-Naked samsung drivers
-Pda drivers
-Samsung_USB_Driver_for_Moblie_Phones_v1_4_6_0
Nothing worked.
1st time I used Samsung_USB_Driver_for_Moblie_Phones_v1_4_6_0 and i tried again and nothing.
I am on Windows 7 64bit version.
If anyone knows how to solve this please share the idea.

I was facing lot of driver issues when connecting my GNex for the first time to the laptop on WinXP. Installing the drivers through the GNex Toolkit also did not work for me.
Finally what worked for me was, installing the latest version of Android SDK with the additional package of Google USB drivers, and then manually selecting the drivers after connecting my phone instead of asking Windows to look for drivers automatically.
I had trouble when first connecting my GNex too. However, these drivers worked for me (plus work with many many other android devices):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1379875
If you have several android devices you'll find that you don't have to install multiple drivers for adb, fastboot, etc. for each of the devices.
Taken from post#3 of the ToolKit thread:
Note 1: If the driver doesnt install automatically then double click on the Android 1.0 item, then click on the driver tab and select 'update driver'. Select 'browse my computer' and then 'Let me pick from a list'. If no items appear in the list then untick 'Show compatible hardware' and find the Android adb driver or Samsung adb driver.
Try that as they may be on your pc and just not installing.
Mark.
Got them working now but i have problem when rooting, using GNex toolkit 5.6
It boots into android, i set usb debugging but when the phone is suppose to boot back to fastboot it gives error device not connected.

[Q] Fastboot driver problem

Hi, I have a huge problem and I don't know what to do anymore. I try to access fastboot mode on my Xperia Play, so I can flash ICS kernel, I did usual stuff, followed the guides, watches few videos on youtube, now I am stuck on part where I have to install drivers manually.
So basicly I go to device manager, select S1boot, update, select driver... And after I do that, every single time it says that Windows could not find driver software for your device.
I tried downloading many different drivers, I tried many combinations in pointing them like:
C:\Users\T-N-Z\Desktop\Fastboot\fastboot\Drivers\x64
or just
C:\Users\T-N-Z\Desktop\Fastboot\fastboot\Drivers\
etc..
I am on Windows 8 RTM Pro. I had similar issue in Windows 7, but it fixed itself randomly :/
I also installed Android SDK and Android USB drivers from it..
I tried installing fastboot driver with flashtool, but I believe it installs wrong driver, S1boot gets renamed to SEMCFLASH or something called like that, and after that my Xperia Play won't stay in fastboot mode, so I can't do anything.
Please help me out, what am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Ok, I have disabled driver thingie on Windows 8 and installed your package files. Now drivers says that I have Android ADB interface, but... When I boot into fastboot mode, after some time it just turns offs and phone starts charging process.
Maybe it needs to be fully charged or something before I can do anything or what?
It just started working for no reason again... Don't know what I've done differently this time but it works now. Thanks for help.

Hi
ADK is working fine with my other devices, but my PC can't seem to install the drivers for Huawei Watch. The devices is in the device manager, but a little yellow triangle at the side, which means the device drivers are not installed.

i was trying all day on my work computer which runs windows 7 x64 with no luck, but the watch was detected immediately on my windows 10 machine at home. strange.
Success!
I fixed my issue! I had the same issue everyone here mostly had. I could unlock the bootloader, but I couldn't get the Fastboot recovery to work because the drivers were not detected by Windows 10, or my other Windows 7 machine. Both machines installed a standard version of Google Android device drivers and boot loader drivers, but they were not detected by ADB commands once in the bootloader.
First I went here to download all the drivers, but got stuck:
http://www.thecountrycaller.com/37260-how-to-unlock-huawei-watch-bootloader-and-flash-twrp-recovery/
So what I did was ran the commands to reboot to bootloader, then flash commands for the recovery, left my device plugged in. Then I went into the Windows Device manager, and looked for the Android or Adb drivers loaded. I double clicked the driver, and clicked on uninstall driver, and told windows to delete the drivers. I then unplugged my device (still in bootloader mode), plugged it back and in windows instantly detected the ADB flash commands and boom, TWRP recovery completed.
Hope this helps some of you.
this did not solve my issue ive installed the drivers and nothing over and over can someone help me with the drivers please
thanks
running windows 7
tried to install every driver possible
Weird as it may be, I managed to get Hwatch to connect to ADB via USB by installing the watch as a Motorola Android Sooner Composite ADB Interface - in device manager-update driver-select from PC-select from device list-android usb device-motorola
Is there anything what i can do when my classic watch is NOT recognized on both pc and notebook? I hear no sound, i canĀ“t see anything in device manager...any help?
Hi I`m using the huawei 2 LTE version - can I take the same driven from here or will that cause problems ?

Question F3 TWRP fastboot not detecting Win11

My ADB works fine but not getting a fastboot devices detect for TWRP fastboot.
I also see driver missing in device manager on Win11 but none of various versions of Google ADB, Xiaomi, etc drivers I have tried seem to match the hardware it thinks its detecting
It did work prior with stock recovery fastboot.
Prior there was some Win 11 driver signing issue for fastboot drivers.. But I have Shift rebooted and disabled driver signature enforcement, which was what worked last time, but its not helping with TWRP.
Anything obvious to suggest here ??
Poco F3 with TWRP cant detect fastboot.
windows 11 is still on its embryonic stage expect some bugs and compatibility issue, try reinstalling all drivers of your poco f3 but before that, you need to disable driver signature enforcement before reinstalling drivers search on google on how to disable this matter
I have done that though.. Rebooted with driver signature turned off (thats what worked last time) and added / removed phone.. rebooted phone.. Tried manually reinstalling same drivers, new drivers, searching for drivers, etc..
Can TWRP need any different driver pairing than the stock recovery drivers ??
Worked straight away when stock.

Have you tried to install the drivers present on the miflash program with the Windows driver signature disabled? If that doesn't work either, I think the problem is your win 11. I tried win 11 last month and with those drivers and sdk platform tools the phone was well recognized in fastboot

Will give this a go..
Can I 'update driver' and point it at the file folder or does this need re-installing the miflash app ?

you could try, however miflash doesn't need installation you just need to unzip it. you can also try to change USB port better if rear and 2.0
Strange I thought I replied in here this morning..
Anyway.. Got it going.. Disabled driver checking.. Then forced 'from disk' and manually pushed it to use the xiaomi drivers.. It wouldnt auto detect or even find the drivers when pointed at the disk, btu the prior install version worked and now both adb and fastboot working even when booted with driver checking on.

then it was definitely a problem in the driver.
