Is there anyone on the OPP5 8.1 beta who has Project Fi and is having issues with SprintDM and maximizing coverage? SprintDM and Carrier Provisioning Service keeps crashing and the carrier switching never gets setup correctly. I wiped the data partition and ran a clean setup wizard again, and the two services still crash immediately on the setup.
Just want to know if anyone else is experiencing this or if anybody is on 8.1 without any issues.

Yes I had the same issue during my first week with 8.1. Solved the SprintDM bug by forcing the app to stop in app settings. Ever since (2 weeks) no problems. The other one disappeared by itself.
The error message from HBO go made me smile - such a long time ago...

Anyone else using Skype and seeing this?
I have a unlocked, none carrier branded Samsung Galaxy Nexus running 4.1.1. Recently when returning to the Skype app home screen from either a message chat, voice or video call my screen started looking like the attachment. There is a ghosting affect going on but it doesn't happen all the time. I also have a few issues where the program just stops working and needs to be restarted and I’m forced to reenter my password. After the restart the app does run normally for a while until I try to chat or make a call. This issue did not happen when I first got the phone running 4.0.4 but has started only a few days ago. It did not start right away when I updated my phone to the 4.1.1 about a week ago. I haven’t installed any programs since this started either, only a few updates for maps, locations services, etc.
I know that this must be an issue with this phone and android build as I do not have this problem on any of my other Android devices running various versions of Android.
No I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app yet but will if the problem persists.
Has anyone else had any issues with LTE loading times? I have full signal and the speed is great but every app I run seems to have this huge pause or doesn't load at all. I end up disabling data and re-enabling and then it loads. But funny enough 3g has zero issues, I have rebooted / updated prl/profile multiple times.

I have the same thing going on as you. One of the apps that is the worst for me is the XDA Labs app. Mine began with the OTA update to Oreo 8.0. My device shipped with Nougat and the day I purchased the device I went through the setup wizard and delayed the update for a few days. Once the update was installed it started the delay. I'm on TMO too. I've had my Z2 Force for a few months now with Oreo installed and nothing I do changes anything. I just deal with it.

Hi! my google pixel xl worked perfect until yesterday where then at work the Wi-Fi network stopped working, just trying to connect and it was "Saved" or "Disconnected" probe in the network 5.8 and 2.4 and in the same way. Ultimately restart the factory phone and follow the fault, how can I solve it.
any ideas?
This seems to be a very rare problem, i only seen 1 case of it before. Did you try for example going to the store and connecting to their wifi? If it works try resetting your router. Did you drop your phone in any substances?
The problem was solved, since I could notice that it contacts me to other networks, I notified this to the company that provides me with internet services and it was their problem. Just a restart from the company to make it work normally again
I have the same problem, and I have already did everything from the side of ISP. Even with factory reset the problem still persists. For me the problem was there from when I first got the phone and so I got Google to replace it with a new phone, and the problem continued in until update of Android 8.2 after that it was fixed and then came back with update to Android 9.0 and then fixed cuz of update Android 9.1 and was fixed all throughout until December 2019 when I got the last/(end of support) security patch. After that last patch the problem has just been really bad.
I recently bought a Pixel 6 Pro; after getting it all set up, I noticed that it frequently dropped the carrier signal even in strong signal-strength areas, sometimes requiring a reboot to get it back. Apparently the problem has been reported multiple times. Installing this package:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/googl...211206_01_rc00-android-apk-download/download/
has apparently fixed the issue on my phone. This is a BETA version of the Dec. 2021 version of the Carrier Services app. Interestingly, this one fixes the issue, but updating to the Jan 2022 release version breaks it again.
Hope this helps anyone else with this problem!

Thanks for your input! I am also one of the users with frequent data connection drops EVEN AFTER January update.
Unfortunately for me, updating to this latest Carrier Services Beta (and clearing its cache etc.) doesn't fix anything for me.
In case someone is interested and can have a look, I have managed to capture modem logs at the exact time (hh:mm) when the network drop is happening - see more info here.

Make sure you properly forward those to Google as a bug report too.
Addendum:
After several days, I have found another issue. With the beta version of the Carrier Services app, the phone does NOT ever drop the provider's carrier if Wi-FI is not turned on. If I do turn it on, after some random time period, the phone drops the carrier signal again, and I am NOT able to make Wi-Fi calls. If anyone has a fix for this it would be appreciated. For now, I'm just not using my wireless network... :-(
'Apparently' is more precise than sometimes a fix works and sometimes it doesn't. Please retitle to maybe.
My LG Wing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings stopped working after few weeks running Android 12. I have reset my phone and after 3 weeks it's the same problem. I just updated for 5G support(V30d-Jan-10-2023) and still the same problem. Is there any solution?
Hello, where are you and what carrier do you have? I'm in the United States and have verizon. So far I've had no issue with Android 12 on my device. If you have Wi-Fi calling turned on you might try to disabling that. Just a guess but maybe that could help.

Hi I am in India and I use Airtel. I tried Wi-Fi disabling but it doesn't work. Phone is sluggish, UI is crashing frequently. Don't know what to do.

Backup what you need to keep, and factory reset it.If that doesn't work, use LGUP and downgrade the firmware.
So I noticed something strange. I went to another city for couple of days and my phone worked just like before. The Wi-Fi is working fine, the UI is not crashing, Settings is not crashing(Network and Battery was crashing previously) and no slowdowns whatsoever. But as soon as I am heading back to my home it starts slowing down again.
The GPS location with the most time logged on my phone(place where I use my phone the most) causes the phone to slowdown. Is Android 12 deliberately slowing it down? Did anybody face similar issues with Android 12 on LG or any other Android phone?
That is very weird. I have not noticed any slowdowns at my home versus anywhere else with Android 12. My Wi-Fi and Bluetooth also work perfectly. Before a factory reset you may try resetting the network settings.
Apple made their iPhones slower on purpose after year or so of use. Android might be trying to copy that feature in Android 12. It doesn't makes sense that my phone overheats, eats up battery and have super slow UI all of a sudden. Even after hard reset it's the same issue. I have noticed it working fine after I leave my home for sometime. Or maybe I am being paranoid.
Also I have been noticing a bug from Android on LG Wing for past 1 year. There is a small icon for location which appears on top of your phone when it is trying to locate you. But that icon appears randomly despite my GPS is turned off. Seems to me that Android is deliberately accessing your location no matter you turn GPS ON or OFF. But LG UI still shows GPS icon.
