Has anyone else had any issues with LTE loading times? I have full signal and the speed is great but every app I run seems to have this huge pause or doesn't load at all. I end up disabling data and re-enabling and then it loads. But funny enough 3g has zero issues, I have rebooted / updated prl/profile multiple times.

I have the same thing going on as you. One of the apps that is the worst for me is the XDA Labs app. Mine began with the OTA update to Oreo 8.0. My device shipped with Nougat and the day I purchased the device I went through the setup wizard and delayed the update for a few days. Once the update was installed it started the delay. I'm on TMO too. I've had my Z2 Force for a few months now with Oreo installed and nothing I do changes anything. I just deal with it.

ok....i had the 6.5 update that was accidently leaked out on my phone. things i experienced with it.
battery life was short
keyboard pops up when new txt is rcvd - very annoying
constant erros about data connection
backlight stays on for a long time when phone is not used
very bad lag
so...tmobile finally put the actual release out on their site about the update. i installed that yesterday. phone seems fine and not doing any of the above.
but i noticed that i am unable to get certain apps that i use to have on there to work. it would look like it is starting up but then it doesn't.
i really want to use these apps on my phone. does anyone know why i am unable to?
xda wifi connection app
wm longlife app
thanks in advance!

any help? ..........................
Last I saw the T-Mobile update was exactly the same as the leaked one... So the problems you are experiencing are odd???? I still have the leaked Rom and it works fine without the issues you describe. The Only time my battery life is shortened is when using the internet features and/or leave the screen on... for example I left wifi sharing on the other day... I was at 50% 2 hours later... so I turned it off, 10 hours later I was at 30% not too bad!

Yes I believe it's been confirmed that the "leaked" T-mo upgrade ROM was bit-for-bit identical to the final (official) release, verified by matching checksums.
However, when the upgrade was first making the rounds here, there were numerous reports of odd issues that would pop up for people after the initial flashing of the ROM...and the solution was just to re-flash it again. Amazingly, doing a 2nd flash of the same ROM seemed to clear up quite a few of the oddball problems that people were seeing.
I'm afraid though I don't have any idea why those last 2 apps aren't working for you following the upgrade...?
Woah, warning about WMLongLife...
It F*CKED up my 3G connection bad. It wouldn't automatically switch to 3G when I was coming into a 3G area from a GPRS/EDGE area and it was almost impossible to get the original setting back. I'd stay far away from that app if I was you.
The other app, I'm not familiar with. Where is the original post of that?
Hello,
I'm having issues with data drops that occur more or less randomly. They persist for many minutes at times or hours. I have found that restarting the phone temporarily fixes the issue.
I am running CM10.1 nightly from the first of this month. I have also updated my modem to the latest one on the modems thread, which is UVFLJA.
The drop happens without warning or slowing down, and the icon remains the same, insisting it is connected to H+/H or occasionally 3G.
Again restarting fixes the issue temporarily, but restarting every so often is frustrating.
EDIT
It's a Data only drop. I can text and send calls just as nicely. The phone also believes it is connected to the Tmobile data network though none is being sent.

This has always happened to me on Samsung phones. It's like the data hangs on upload and it won't download any data. When this happens to you, do you notice that only the upload arrow flashes?

Yes it does get stuck on upload. Sorry for the delayed response.
Since my Nexus 7 (2013) upgraded OTA to version 6.0 I've noticed a slow (about 7-10 seconds) connect time to my home Wi-Fi.
Previously it was almost instant.
Once connected I have no issues with upload or download speeds.
My WiFi settings are in Advance Wi-Fi:
Network notification - Notify whenever a public network is available
Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep - Only when plugged in
Wi-Fi frequency band - 2.4 Ghz only
Everything else as default.
Anyone else have this or know how to speed up the initial connecting?
Thanks
Put "keep WiFi on during sleep to always, frequency band to automatic

Thanks for the suggestions - will try.
I have exactly the same problem. Tried different settings but no result. Before upgrade to Marshmallow no such problem. Still not found a solution.

I tried 'blueyes' suggestion - no difference.
In a way its nice to know I'm not alone with this issue.
After November's update is still the same. Even worse when using chrome.
I also experiencing inconsistent WiFi connections after I upgraded to Marshmallow MRA58V and rooted using the NRT toolkit. I wonder if it has something to do with the modified boot image to allow root. My connection sometime are instant, but some times take a few seconds from both boot up and wake up. When I use to experience similar issues used to clear the Dalvik cache and reboot, but this does not work with Marshmallow as it uses ART instead. Is there any way to force Marshmallow to optimize the applications like it does when the ROM is first flashed? Any other suggestions?
After 6.0.1 update it seems better now.
Hey guys, been a while. Anyway I had my HTC 10 replaced under warranty a month or so back. The replacement I go, I keep getting disconnected after a day or so. So what happens is I can use the phone and all, but Mobile Data appears to break, as if I disconnect WIFI Mobile Data shows Disconnected. ONly way to get it back online to to reboot the phone.
This has been happening more frequently, every day I am ending up having to reboot since I cannot send any text messages.
Any suggestions? Is this a common issue with HTC 10? I'm on Tmobile USA Network. I never had any issues before with other phone (M8, M7, iPhone), and signal is great.
Just started happening to me....Was fine until this week.. Tmobile user also...S-on Viper10 rom.
Yes. Was it after the recent update?
Btw, either turning mobile data off/on or airplane mode fixes it.
So it's from the recent update? It's happening more and more frequent to the point I keep restarting my phone multiple times in a day. Also, the Airplane mode on/off doesn't bring back the data back online, even turning mobile data on/off or even switching the network mode doe not help.
Btw, my HTC10 fully stock, non rooted.
OK a new update just came in for my phone. Ran it, and monitoring how it goes. i will update thread if that update fixes the issue.
It hasn't happened to me since 1.8 update. Using leedroid.

Looks like the update that was pushed yesterday by TMO US fixed the issue, as I have not encountered the issue yet after the update.
Scrap that. Issue reoccured, although not as frequently....
To fix this I had to go into developer options and checked keep data on.
I recently bought a Pixel 6 Pro; after getting it all set up, I noticed that it frequently dropped the carrier signal even in strong signal-strength areas, sometimes requiring a reboot to get it back. Apparently the problem has been reported multiple times. Installing this package:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/googl...211206_01_rc00-android-apk-download/download/
has apparently fixed the issue on my phone. This is a BETA version of the Dec. 2021 version of the Carrier Services app. Interestingly, this one fixes the issue, but updating to the Jan 2022 release version breaks it again.
Hope this helps anyone else with this problem!

Thanks for your input! I am also one of the users with frequent data connection drops EVEN AFTER January update.
Unfortunately for me, updating to this latest Carrier Services Beta (and clearing its cache etc.) doesn't fix anything for me.
In case someone is interested and can have a look, I have managed to capture modem logs at the exact time (hh:mm) when the network drop is happening - see more info here.

Make sure you properly forward those to Google as a bug report too.
Addendum:
After several days, I have found another issue. With the beta version of the Carrier Services app, the phone does NOT ever drop the provider's carrier if Wi-FI is not turned on. If I do turn it on, after some random time period, the phone drops the carrier signal again, and I am NOT able to make Wi-Fi calls. If anyone has a fix for this it would be appreciated. For now, I'm just not using my wireless network... :-(
'Apparently' is more precise than sometimes a fix works and sometimes it doesn't. Please retitle to maybe.
