This is my take on the Spigen Slim Armor for the Pixel 2 XL. There are a few changes since the standard XL case.
-It's now flat, no more buldge
-TPU is top notch quality
-Back is a soft-touch material
-Buttons have "built-in" vertical cuts
-Power button is textured
-Buttons are nice and clicky - even better after a few days use
-Kickstand is easy to open and slimmer all-around
-Fingerprint sensor cutout is the perfect size
At the time of writing this (Nov 8) the Slim Armor is only available through Spigen's site. I'm sure it will make it's way to Amazon once they produce enough. It still says Pre-Order on the site, but does ship, of course.

I've always loved the Slim Armor. The TPU feels better than other cases and the kick stand is so convenient. And now the case is flat, unlike last years version.
How's the hard plastic part? Is it grippy?

I've just received mine.. And i like it, specially how they changed the buttons design (definitely different than all previous slim armors).. And its gripy, adds some bulk byt expected bulk.. Spigen did a very good job with this case in spacific..

Thats normal with any case by time, hard to tell how fast this early, but worth the try..
Looks pretty nice, dunno about $29 nice though. The non slim Tough Armor is over $10 cheaper...

Here is the spigen I had. The back scratched up fast. The 2nd case I had on there for the next 11 months and barely any scuff marks. I was hoping the slim armor wouldn't scratch like The spigen I had.

Only time will tell, but since this is a soft-touch material I'd expect it to last quite a while.
I ordered mine once it became available and before the fall code expired. It came out to about $22 at the time.

I'm liking the new buttons too. It's a much more refined case than last year's.
Just got my Spigen on Wednesday, love it so far.
I ran these spigen with stands and all of them the stand has broken.
I have young kids but still I now scratched stand cases!

I have both, and I think this one feel slightly thinner than the NeoHybrid. It's actually replaced it as my daily case.

Otter just added a section for the phone. Only the commuter case for now at 34.95. Should be available relatively soon. I'm hoping they have it at Sprint on Sunday. They had the EVO 3d Commuter case ready on release day. At first I didn't like the look of the Commuter series, but having dropped my EVO 3D several times, some quite hard, with only one small scratch on the edge, I quite like them now.

I asked Cruzerlite on facebook and they confirmed that they will be making cases for the sprint optimus g.

I went to the Sprint store today and got the Otterbox commuter case. It's great quality as usual with Otterbox's. I got it for like $28 because of a 20 percent discount I guess since I'm a Sprint preferred customer which was a nice surprise.

The ultra crystal is basically a clear screen protector and the oleophobic protector is an anti-oil screen protector.

Which case was this so we know not to buy it
Just got my Otterbox, it feels much more secure now, but it still slides on smooth surfaces, next case will have a rubberized back so I can avoid this.

I was happy to see they did have the commuter case when I picked mine up yesterday. It's a rather nice case. The screen protector covers the entire face minus the camera, and top sensor. It's a much better fit than the commuter case for the EVO 3D commuter case. The ridges on both sides of the phone make gripping it very easy.
the local sprint store here does not have any cases at all. really need to get that otterbox

Well I have just received this black incipio hard shell case last evening...the case quality is good and look wise too its look cool....
I just got mine in blue. I like it, except that it doesn't really have a lip around the edge to keep the screen off a table surface if put screen side down. No dimple either on the moto logo on the back.

Cool, having just traded my S4 for the Moto X last night I'm looking forward to this phone. I usually get more expensive cases and several before I find something I like, and this time I figured I'd try some of the lower-cost alternatives since I like to change things up anyway (I usually buy a 3-pack of screen protectors about once a month, swapping them after a few weeks once they get gunked up). I'm already liking the phone much more than the S4 (For the last month I had ran the S4 with the hardware keys as disabled as possible and enabling the nav bar, just because I wanted some UI consistency between my Nexus 7 and my phone. Anyway I have another cheap case coming from amazon tomorrow so I'll be good until the quicksand ones come. I love the size of this phone naked, but I'm clumsy as all hell and it's very slippery without a case on it.
Bear Motion has these cases for Prime Amazon... I have been using one on my HTC One for a while (green)... just picked up a brown one for my Moto X that i should be receiving today. Great cases! awesome texture, fit, color, thinness, etc.

i like these quicksand ones because they dont have the branding that the other two or three brands have. not to mention they are uber cheap. the two week wait though... make paying double almost worth it. mine finally hit chicago yesterday. so i hope to be receiving mine tomorroe. i soooo hope they dont mess up the plastic around the glass like so many cases are doing.

This case is wonderful. It is really slim while probiding impact protection and protects all the sides of the phone while the buttons still being pleasant to press. Also feels extremely nice. Couldn't ask more from a case as someone who doesn't drop their phone and has no need for the huge defender type cases. I just wanted an aesthetic nice feeling case that would proect from scratches inside my pockets, and this exceeds expectations. I have been using it with the Upscreen shield sceen protector which feels nice as well but does not stick to the curves and am currently awaiting a Ceilicious one, and am eyeking the Skinomi one as well.

GETE 360 Degree Rotating Ring Holder with Kickstand (from Amazon title)
3rd case, and my favorite. Looks great, very easy to put on and take off. & love the built in rotating ring/kickstand. Only $6.96 on Amazon too.
I've had the Spigen tough armor. Good looking kickstand case BUT, the button covers are MUCH harder to press. Got too annoying after a while.
Then tried the Rugged case by Poetic. Very difficult to take apart and put on the first time. And also to make the collapsing kickstand work the first time. After that, while easier to operate, using the kickstand and taking cover on and off is still a bit of a hassle. Oh, and I had to cut off the flaps for the power cord hole and headphone jack covers. They were applying too much pressure to the base of my wires when plugged in. I was worried it would cause the connection to malfunction over time.

I bought the Ringke onynx case great case fits very well easy on and off. Used one on my v20 since it was new 2 years ago. Can't beat it for the price.

Keepin' it slim! Cheap, but as effective as a skin can possible be. It ain't bullet-proof, and only comes in blue or black (for now?). Aleady dropped a couple times (low heights), ze-ro damage. Rim around screen is nice, only just high enough to be effectice. All cutouts are spot-on. Wireless charging like it's not even there.

Yes, I have found the best case for me is also the Tech21, I have it in black and midnight. Attached picture for midnight blue. Bought them directly from the tech21 site
Olny problem I had with the Tech21 case on my Droid Turbo, was that it held the heat in REAL well on the back. Too well. I cut many large holes, in a pattern, in it to allow direct-to-air ventalation.

come on NOW do you know how old that phone is like really oo that's a relic now it would've been valid if you said a phone from 16 & up but 14 I get it tho the phones have gotten way better with not heating up now & Tech21 are the only cases I run on all my devices never failed me

I know darn well how 'old' that phone is. The problem started day-1 when I used the Tech21 on it. I got the phone about a month after official release. I seriously doubt Tech21 had any clue thier case would be such a good insulator. That phone was/is a beast, able to do so much at once, it got put through its paces by me. As such, the battery was also always pumping out, so probably why it was warm so easily. By the way, back of phone was the balistic nylon version. The case saved my proverbial bacon on more than one occasion. The cooling holes I put in it also helped against slippage in my hand.

Hey, I don't really care about kickstand, either is okay. I like cases with a bumper, so not the little protection kevlar case. Other than that just overall build quality and fit is important. Thanks for your reply. Also which is your personal favorite?

Slightly different case required - most cases with the oppo logo gap are for the leather version.
