Went to bed at 920p with 45% and woke up at 4a with 25%. That should not be right. The first night I lost 8%ish. This is my third day with the device.

Overnight, usually 6-7 hours, I'll lose 0-2% Definitely sounds like you have a rouge app doing some damage. I had that last week. Turned out to be a weather app continuously requesting location. I also turn off wifi and bluetooth scanning, as well as all the wifi request crap under wifi settings. Hope you get it sorted out.

Believe it or not, the native battery app monitor informed me of it. You may want to try the GSM battery monitor app from the play store to see if you can find out what's causing the drain.

Check the battery stats for "gpsd". Mine started draining after updating to 4.1.2. It appears (for me at least) that the Samsung "find-your-phone-if someone-steels-it" was behaving badly.
If this is the case for you. Switch the service/function of and notify Samsung.
How many hours do you get when your battery is draining fast?
My stock phone started to drain fast as well. Within 6 hours unplugged I see myself having only 60 percent remaining with barely an hour screen on time. I tried to narrow it down to a rogue app but it seems the OTA was more plausable and easier to blame lol
Now back to using Jedi again.

It's called DIVE and does more than just recover lost phones, it is a management suite, not that I've spent a lot of time on it so far.

That's not it ever since this multiwindow update battery life has diminished. I can't figure it out. Like right now all I did is a little bit of fb twitter Tapatalk gps music and thats it and its at 38% unplugged since 6 hrs and on screen time is 2 hrs.

I trade commodities so I'm constantly on the Internet and syncing prices all day long. I don't use wifi. Ever

Same here... Every discharge cycle. But performance and battery life are not compromised....
I noticed the same thing today for the first time. But not as bad or as much as yours is showing.
I see those spikes on my Nexus 7 2013. And I get a terrible battery as well. My tablet loses about %30 of its battery charge during night when it is in sleep mode. Does anybody experience the same issue? Is there a way to fix this?

You must have an app installed that's causing that much drop off. Mine drops off like 2%.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
I have seen spike on mine, too, but not up to 100%, only 1-2% more than its actual level. I thought it's because it was the first charge cycle and the reading weren't yet calibrated. I'll see if they go away after a few more cycles.
I don't have battery drain, as well, I lose 2-3% overnight with wifi and sync still on.

Hey everyone,
My Nexus 7 (2013) is having the same problem with battery graph. There are about 2-3 spikes to 100% in every discharge cycle.
I noticed this problem has been reported in different cycles, but no one seems to be able to give a definite answer of what the source of this problem is.
BTW, after a reset to factory settings, the problem still persists.
ANY idea why this is happening???

Hello everyone,
I just bought a new LG gpad and the battery is awful.
Browsing webpages gives me about 3/4 hours of lifespan but the worst part happend tonight
I had 32% battery left and decided to switch off the unit completely, when I turned on the pad this morning there was no battery left at all
I believe this unit is faulty or is normal to consume battery when switched off (not sleeping)
Do you experience the same?
Thank you.

Maybe you need to return yours.
Battery isn't amazing but its pretty darn good with screen at 60% and under clocked to 1100mhz. I can get a days use out of it and no loss of charge overnight.
Yeah, yours sounds wrecked.

Hey guys,
Quick one, I haven't installed anything new and suddenly am having my Pixel just not going into deep sleep.
Left phone still on table, no deep sleep.
Installed GSam BBS and can't find alot wrong, as in an app that's smashing it. Only thing I can see is no deep sleep! Like, more drain when screens off then on! Wtf! I've tried everything but a reset. Rather not. Shouldn't have too. I'm not even rooted. I was months ago but went back to stock.
Screenshot included. Any ideas?
Thanks guys.
Sorry, missed this screenshot... Couldn't work out how to edit and add.
When's the last time you've restarted your phone? If it's been since last monthly update, sometimes it's as simple as restarting to get it back to normal.

Same. Literally sitting here wondering why.

Yup. Same here. I had high hopes for it outlasting the Note 9. Still hoping it will settle.
But typically on my Note 9, one hour of screen time equalled 10% of battery usage. With the Note 10+ one hour of screen time uses about 15% of battery.
I hope it settles a bit and maybe upcoming updates will help.

Could be carried over from the note 9. Going to find an app to help me discover it
Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
Today has been my best day, so there's hope it's getting better. But I still think my Note 9 was a bit better.
I've been updating, installing and testing a lot of apps, so my phone runs about 10% down for each hour of on screen time, but there are few postings about disabling some programs that you don't use, that made difference in battery use. For example I don't even have facebook account and facebook was hapily running 2 or 3 services in the background (collecting data maybe), until I disabled it. So debloating should be part of your phone setup, like it or not.
Phenomenal battery on firs day. Note 10+ exynos. 1/2 day 4g.
