Clove - 7th April HTC Desire
Hmm, I think I've been charged for mine on Thursday however Clove haven't sent me an email confirming this. For some reason my net banking only shows transactions up to the 1st. Perhaps something to do with Banking Holidays?

As of today, Handtec is still saying the 7th is the expected ship date. I know it's hard, but it's only 24-48 hours away. Just do what I have been doing...watch the reviews & think "Man! The phone I have right now sucks!"

Who did you order from?

I ordered it from Handtec , and I'm not from UK , I'm living in Bulgaria and I'm very surprised because FedEx gave me an estimated delivery date - 08.04.2010

I'm hoping you're not going to be disappointed and I do not know how the delay will have affected Clove's supplies but my understanding was that Clove's first batch was sold out on pre-orders some weeks ago. Certainly this was the case before the launch was delayed. A mate of mine ordered his Desire from Clove last week and is not expecting his for another week or so. Who knows, maybe the delay will mean that Clove's first and second batches will have been amalgamated?

I dunno about that... I ordered mine on March 19th so hopefully that would've gotten me in with the first batch of orders (I'd be very surprised if that wasn't the case). The email I quoted was dated March 30th so up to then they seemed to be able to handle all the pre-orders.
As regards how the delay hit them, all I know is that there's a sign on the Desire page on their site saying that the 'expect' stock by the 7th, I suppose they'll start shipping as soon as they've got them in stock.

I saw heard some people cancelling their orders from clove, worth mentioning

I think they were originally but that was before the delay. I recieved an email since the delay saying:
Stock should be here on the 7th/8th We expect over a 1000 units

They also said mine would ship from the first delivery. Before they were delayed, mine was going to be in the second shipment which was originally due 2nd April.

Why didnt i get that
last email they sent me was
"Thank you for your co-operation in this matter, your security details have now been processed and the order will now be dispatched upon your chosen delivery option."
that was on the end of last month.. i had payment confirmation issues, but my order was on the 20th
from handtec too....
i hope i get a delivery notification soon

Got my email notification from F*D*X about my shipment from Handtec also
Funny thing is, it says it should be delivered on the 8th...I wish. Even if it left tomorrow, I would still have to mess with with F*D*X and Customs. Safe to say, I won't be receiving my new toy until Saturday or Monday of next week

A few minutes ago, I was in Live-Chat with Handtec and they told me that stock still hasn't arrived until now.

So did I, that's why I cancelled... I'm going on a trip tomorrow evening for a week so i'll buy it in a local store.

I just talked to Handtec live chat and got this info:
Customer Services (811): Unfortunately delivery for the HTC is tomorrow
Customer Services (811): we will ship some tomorrow and Thursday
But who knows who has the correct info.

Amazon Preorders?

Anyone have any news on their amazon preorders? I keep checking mine and it's says "not yet shipped" but it has a delivery date of monday. I preordered it when they first became available.

Same here... I have one day shipping it says for Monday.. I know if you had the free 2 day it shows Tuesday... I also got off phone with them because my neighbor got his yesterday.. And amazon tells me it looks like there is a delay it now says 2 to 5 weeks.... And that is confirmed if you go like you are trying to order today... I hope that is just for new orders

Mine too has a delivery date of Monday and as of 3:30 PM central time it still hasn't shipped.

I got off the phone with them this morning and they said that the "two to five weeks" of delivery time is only for new orders. On their end it looks like things show as being on time so it should either ship out today or even tomorrow. I'm so jealous of everyone that already has theirs. I even already have all my accessories here before the phone is here.

That is funny I ripped them a new one because my neighbor got his yesterday and ordered two days after I did... They told me that all orders were pushed even pre orders... So now I *****ed about the Samsung promo.... They have it set if it does not ship by my date listed I will get a credit for the promo I would have got... Lol after all said and done this only cost me 55 bucks out of pocket lol

That's good news. I really don't want to wait "two to five weeks" for the phone...
I'm kinda curious why amazon couldn't ship out the phones so we could get them today. It almost seems like they had to wait to order the Note 4 until the 17th as well.

I know this if off topic but that nexus 6 is looking good if our notes don't come I might have to switch...

I thought they'd do that as well. When I preordered my PS4 they shipped it a few days early so it was on my doorstep on launch day. They're able to ship things out early so we get them on launch day so I'm also curious as to why they couldn't just do that. It looks like all the carriers have done that too.

I called them last night around 10:30 PM Central and they said everything us still on schedule. But I'm having trouble beliving them since it's now 10:21 AM and it still hasn't shipped.

i just checked me amazon account and it now say instock may take 1 to 2 days to process.....my status when from not yet shipped to shipping soon with monday delevery date

Lucky. Mine still says not yet shipped. Looks like they have them in stock though since now the product page says they have 20 left in stock (at least for the black one).

If you have the standard free 2day shipping call them up and get on them about this whole situation and tell them you would be happy of they could upgrade you to one day for free.... They did for me a while ago... Then yours should be there Monday as well

Yea I already paid for one day shipping for 3.99 since I have Prime, so mine is guaranteed delivery for Monday.

UPDATE: My card was just charged and my order status changed to "shipping now!" I cannot contain my excitement.

My "quote" in the email they sent says estimated delivery date Oct 23-26. I paid for 1 day shipping and ordered at 10:40PM CST after learning there is in fact a notification light..

Ok, i ordered from Carphoneware house (UK) and they say 19th Oct.

I actually went and requested an invite for Project Fi last night and to my surprise, I got an instant invite! So, I signed up and bought a 5X. Here's the kicker though...the website said that it would ship in 3-5 days! I'll believe it when I see it, but who knows? Maybe they are giving preferential treatment to Project Fi people. Or maybe that was just the shipment of the SIM card.
EDIT: Just checked my account and it is saying that the phone leaves the warehouse in 2-3 weeks.

I hope the "sometime in October" means early October, but I doubt it. I want Google to be early shipping it out but they ain't no Apple or Samsung so I am not holding my breath. Mine will take 3-4 weeks to ship out (Oct 30-Nov 3)

When will they announce the date then?
Maybe they are hoping to get them shipped earlier than we all think?

It's weird...in the listing of all my orders, it says that it leaves the warehouse in 2-3 weeks. But if I go into more info for the order, it says 23-27 October (which would be more than 3 weeks after ordering). So, I guess it's the same as everyone else.
BTW, 32GB Quartz model.

I ordered from Clove, says they'll ship on 19th October so I'm guessing it'll be here a few days after that date... I hate waiting!

My friend has one day shipping, will get it between Oct 20-21. The Oct 19 date may be the one

Ice blue 32gb ordered 5 minutes after order opened. Delivery date is est 10/28. I think we'll see them much sooner than the dates they quote us. I keep checking my order status thinking it's all of the sudden going to say "shipped" :sly::sly:

I believe the est dates to be "worst case scenario". If I have to wait till Oct 28 then that's fine, but I don't want to!

28th? my first one was within 5 minutes also and it was 10/22 estimated. I cancelled that order because wrong shipping address and went to 10/27 estimated. I did two day shipping for both

Same here, and mine is later than yours so it makes it worse for me! Lol. If Google pulls an Apple and ships next week, I will be happy

I wouldn't be surprised if they start shipping out by the 20th-ish or so (or late teens), but I also wouldn't get my hopes up.

I got the same phone, ordered about 30 seconds after it went live with standard shipping, mine shows est 10/23 to 10/27.

11/18 Verizon Ship date?

Does anyone else have a ship date of 11/18 on Verizon that has received or had their pixel shipped out yet? Mine got pushed from 10/20 to 11/18. I am coming from a Note 7 and this is concerning because Verizon announced that they will cut all service for Note 7 owners on Nov 4th. Hoping my phone comes in before then.

I have an 11/18 ship date, and so far the order still just says processing.

Who did you pre-order through. I pre-ordered with best buy and it was pushed to 11/18, but the stores had them. I just went to the store and purchased it and cancelled my preorder.

Ordered online from VZW, a week ago.

Ordered mine on Oct 18th and got a delivery date of 11-11. Mine is still just stuck in processing.

I just got a shipped text. It shipped via USPS. No status available yet. I cant believe att shipped early. Its a Festivus miracle.

I got a tracking number! Delivery tomorrow. It's happening.

I pre ordered mine On March 23rd and still didn't get any text from them, and in my att acc. still in progress and showind April 4 to 7 :/

Mine still shows April 4th to 6th as status. But I got the ship notification for it with tracking number. AT&T systems probably can't handle this early ship stuff

Have my tracking number. Coming to RI from Texas via ups ground...the slowest shipping method known to man. Guess I'll have it next week.

On the FedEx truck right now. So should be soon. Weird that everyone else seems to be saying USPS out of TX. Mine was FedEx overnight from Texas.

In years past I remember reading about people getting their phone shipped by USPS and I always got FEDEX. Luckly.
I guess its my turn to get the snail mail. I agree, it makes no sense why they ship some overnight and some 3-4 days. Poor customer service and terribly inconsistent. I use to work for them a few years ago and I guess they havent changed much.

Just arrived. No software updates...

I have mine as well, but haven't booted up yet. Showed up via fedex today. (platinum color)
