SIM Free deliveries - WEDNESDAY 23rd looking likely!

So now that the 21st is in site, a post to update us all on whether you have received your GN yet.
I am particularly interested in HANDTEC orders, as that is who I have ordered through! Cheers guys

15/11 Update: Samsung Distribution is still stating week commencing 21st November this has been the case for the past two weeks or so. We understand that dates such as the 17th November MAY be release dates for non sim free stock but we cannot confirm this.

I know what you mean. I waited weeks for them to announce any details for a US launch, got sick of the waiting and ordered yesterday. Now it seems like tomorrow isn't going to happen... WTF Samsung, get your **** together

Will stay with the 23th as clove post, handtec will get at the same time like all uk sim free stores ...

Here's hoping the sim-free batches will be different and not have the volume-changing plague like pre-release phones didn't have the plague. I am close to canceling my pre-order, but part of me just wants to wait and see and hope for the best.
I still fear that the sim-free ones won't be released next week though. Phones4U ad said they have a two-week exclusive and some sellers, especially Amazon, have the release date exactly two weeks after Phones4U release.
But I guess hope dies last! It's just a phone

Clove is Samy's ***** just like Handec is HTC's. That's why my money is on 23rd. Handtec states week starting 21st, that could technicaly mean 25th as well

Handtec said on their Twitter that they're expecting the shipment for the 23rd.
Meanwhile, I prefer this. If it comes that day, the delivery should arrive earliest on Friday here in Belgium. That's when I'm home earlier, usually long before any delivery truck arrives. And next week, I'm in night shift. Handtec uses DPD for delivery to my country, and they have notoriously weird times.
Initially I had this week Thursday and Friday the days off, initially expecting the Nexus and Saints Row 3 those days. SR3's release date got moved ahead and the Nexus shipping date back. :|

If Handtec delivers on Wed 23rd. When will US receive our orders?
Thursday is Thanksgiving and I know no delivery will be done. I am not sure if Fedex/UPS delivers on Friday Saturaday or Sunday....
So does anybody know what will happen if they deliver on 23rd?

US is 2-4 Business days. Count Thursday out. It should be at our doors around the following Tues-Thursday >,,> Fml
...Of course, that's only for whoever is in the first batch (/prays)

pre-release phones used by reviewers probably didn't check 2G connectivity, or weren't on a network that operates on 900Hz. so they wouldn't have encountered the problem.

Received a tweet from Handtec advising mid week and then this email from Clove. 23rd looks promising:
Dear S,
Thank you for expressing an interest in the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. We are pleased to inform you that stock is due to arrive late today and orders will begin shipping tomorrow. We will receive enough stock to cover all outstanding orders and will have a limited amount of stock available to cover new orders.

HANDTEC UPDATE:
21/11 Update: Good news! Stock is arriving into our warehouse later tonight. With the sheer amount of backorders we hope to clear all orders by Wednesday 23rd November. We have a large amount of stock arriving and any new orders should be shipped on the 23rd and 24th of November. Tracking will be sent via email upon dispatch.

anyone received a tracking number from handtec yet?

Amazon Preorders?

Anyone have any news on their amazon preorders? I keep checking mine and it's says "not yet shipped" but it has a delivery date of monday. I preordered it when they first became available.

Same here... I have one day shipping it says for Monday.. I know if you had the free 2 day it shows Tuesday... I also got off phone with them because my neighbor got his yesterday.. And amazon tells me it looks like there is a delay it now says 2 to 5 weeks.... And that is confirmed if you go like you are trying to order today... I hope that is just for new orders

I got off the phone with them this morning and they said that the "two to five weeks" of delivery time is only for new orders. On their end it looks like things show as being on time so it should either ship out today or even tomorrow. I'm so jealous of everyone that already has theirs. I even already have all my accessories here before the phone is here.

That is funny I ripped them a new one because my neighbor got his yesterday and ordered two days after I did... They told me that all orders were pushed even pre orders... So now I *****ed about the Samsung promo.... They have it set if it does not ship by my date listed I will get a credit for the promo I would have got... Lol after all said and done this only cost me 55 bucks out of pocket lol

That's good news. I really don't want to wait "two to five weeks" for the phone...
I'm kinda curious why amazon couldn't ship out the phones so we could get them today. It almost seems like they had to wait to order the Note 4 until the 17th as well.

I know this if off topic but that nexus 6 is looking good if our notes don't come I might have to switch...

I thought they'd do that as well. When I preordered my PS4 they shipped it a few days early so it was on my doorstep on launch day. They're able to ship things out early so we get them on launch day so I'm also curious as to why they couldn't just do that. It looks like all the carriers have done that too.

I called them last night around 10:30 PM Central and they said everything us still on schedule. But I'm having trouble beliving them since it's now 10:21 AM and it still hasn't shipped.

i just checked me amazon account and it now say instock may take 1 to 2 days to process.....my status when from not yet shipped to shipping soon with monday delevery date

Lucky. Mine still says not yet shipped. Looks like they have them in stock though since now the product page says they have 20 left in stock (at least for the black one).

If you have the standard free 2day shipping call them up and get on them about this whole situation and tell them you would be happy of they could upgrade you to one day for free.... They did for me a while ago... Then yours should be there Monday as well

Yea I already paid for one day shipping for 3.99 since I have Prime, so mine is guaranteed delivery for Monday.

UPDATE: My card was just charged and my order status changed to "shipping now!" I cannot contain my excitement.

My "quote" in the email they sent says estimated delivery date Oct 23-26. I paid for 1 day shipping and ordered at 10:40PM CST after learning there is in fact a notification light..

Ok, i ordered from Carphoneware house (UK) and they say 19th Oct.

I actually went and requested an invite for Project Fi last night and to my surprise, I got an instant invite! So, I signed up and bought a 5X. Here's the kicker though...the website said that it would ship in 3-5 days! I'll believe it when I see it, but who knows? Maybe they are giving preferential treatment to Project Fi people. Or maybe that was just the shipment of the SIM card.
EDIT: Just checked my account and it is saying that the phone leaves the warehouse in 2-3 weeks.

I hope the "sometime in October" means early October, but I doubt it. I want Google to be early shipping it out but they ain't no Apple or Samsung so I am not holding my breath. Mine will take 3-4 weeks to ship out (Oct 30-Nov 3)

When will they announce the date then?
Maybe they are hoping to get them shipped earlier than we all think?

It's weird...in the listing of all my orders, it says that it leaves the warehouse in 2-3 weeks. But if I go into more info for the order, it says 23-27 October (which would be more than 3 weeks after ordering). So, I guess it's the same as everyone else.
BTW, 32GB Quartz model.

I ordered from Clove, says they'll ship on 19th October so I'm guessing it'll be here a few days after that date... I hate waiting!

My friend has one day shipping, will get it between Oct 20-21. The Oct 19 date may be the one

I preordered the carbon at first then canceled and got Ice 32gb. Oct 30-Nov 3 is the date. I really hope it ships sooner

I believe the est dates to be "worst case scenario". If I have to wait till Oct 28 then that's fine, but I don't want to!

28th? my first one was within 5 minutes also and it was 10/22 estimated. I cancelled that order because wrong shipping address and went to 10/27 estimated. I did two day shipping for both

I wouldn't be surprised if they start shipping out by the 20th-ish or so (or late teens), but I also wouldn't get my hopes up.

I got the same phone, ordered about 30 seconds after it went live with standard shipping, mine shows est 10/23 to 10/27.

Me too. I ordered it on the 25th and it was supposed to ship yesterday. The 128GB model was available for same-day shipping (allegedly) so I cancelled my 64GB version and ordered the 128GB. I was on the fence about storage anyways to I'm probably better off. Of course, with my luck the new one won't ship until next year...

Yup, my ship date was the 26th. Still nothing.

There better be a good reason for these delays. Like way better QC. They should check each and every phone before they send them to the customers, and send "the blue tint ones" back to LG.

i ordred oct 9th.. the ship status didnt change on the day it was supposed to ship.. i contacted google and they said that its on track and i would get it by the set delievery date and i did.

there are other shipping posts to look through...search maybe?

I have the Panda version pre-ordered through verizon... I think it's a first batch one that was set for "delivery on 11/1". Well, it's now past that but still not shipped. Like others, I'm hoping Google is quietly improving and QC'ing these screens now. If I get a blue color shift one, it's getting returned, now that it's been proven that some units do not have blue shift.

Has anyone received their phone from OP yet? I paid for the 2 day shipping on the 23rd, and I still haven't gotten my phone. I checked the tracking, and it just flew in the opposite direction across the country before it's supposed to come back to me.

From France, I've only reserved the phone by paying a 10% advance payment. The rest will be payable between Monday and Wednesday and then I will know about the delivery date

Made it to my FedEx facilities and was supposed to be delivered Friday yesterday and never did. Now saying pending. I have an bad feeling about this.

Yes, here in the US I pre ordered on launch day, and FedEx surprisingly came thru and delivered Friday as scheduled.

Mine shipped from New Jersey, to Tennessee just to have to come back north past New Jersey again to Rhode Island. I'm 3 states north from where it originated

I got mine in Friday. I'm pretty sure all of the phones in the us are going to originate in linden NJ and head to Memphis TN. Memphis is a major fedex hub so they all get sorted there first and then go back out.

Mine should be here Monday. Currently in Memphis, TN (shipped from New Jersey).

Mine is due to arrive on Tuesday, FedEx picked up today.

on Saturday?

Phone never made it to out for delivery and sat at the FedEx hub. I literally place a hold at facility and picked it up from there.

Yep, both OnePlus website/store app and FedEx confirmed this. First thing this morning I was notified of the label creation (wasn't due to be sent out until March 29) and around lunchtime FedEx scanned it as picked up and in transit.

When I preorder mine, the website said it would be sent out on the 25th. I paid the two day shipping, but my phone was not sent until the 26th. If you look at the Shipment Facts on the Fedex tracking site it says:
SPECIAL HANDLING SECTION​Deliver Weekday
So even though, the package could have been delivered on Saturday to meet the two day shipping, the special handling says tough luck, weekdays only. I received my wireless charger on Friday, along with my case from Amazon though. I am excited to get it, but I'll wait until Monday.

My order just says "Order Outbound"
Guess paying the 10 extra bucks for shipping did absolutely nothing...
Not in a hurry anyway but not impressed with the customer experience. Same story with the 5 other phone I ordered from OnePlus over the years...

I have my stellar black since yesterday. So far it's nice. There is still a problem when scrolling through the Google feed and some social media apps.

same game with Deutsche Telekom. They advertised black color, announced one green, sent it out Friday plus shipping costs for the only option with cash on delivery , it 'arrived' Saturday but DHL put a notification in the mailbox as they are not allowed to accept cash these days....
gladly I live in an area with friendly delivery guys and girls, so after some successful searching for the one transporter containing my package.
So, after a day with it I'll decide to keep it. Next de google, de bloat and finally routing it. To open the bootloader incl. fastboot was the first thing I did, as this steps wipe tge device as we know well.
