Hello folks,
I think I have the universal problem here but none of the solutions online helped me.
Yesterday my phone turned off by itself and after an hour I tried putting it on charge while it remained OFF. Within a minute I could see the display showing 1% and hence I left it OFF as that usually charges quicker.
After an hour or so I unplugged the phone(did not bother to check the display for batter status) and tried getting the phone ON but it failed to respond.
I tried connecting to the charger port and all I could see was a empty battery icon(white) with a lightning bolt sign(amber) appearing every 3-5 seconds, and goes off after a few seconds and this keeps repeating. I could neither see my charge going up not able to turn the phone ON.
I tried the battery recalibration technique/hard boot techniques etc., like holding the power + Volume buttons for 2 minutes/3 minutes and different combination. None of them helped. All I could see it that lightning bolt sign.
Anybody faced similar issues or any folks here able to help?
Please don't make multiple posts or threads asking the same thing. Also, "help" type questions don't belong in the General forum section, as clearly stated in the "sticky" thread at the top of the section "Please read before posting".
I'll respond to your post in the Q&A section, as that is the proper place for such discussions.
Apologies.
Is there anyway I can delete this thread?

There isn't a way for you to delete a thread once it's created, I don't think. I'll report it to the mods to close the thread.

Hi: I got a BA quite new. It has a problem very weird. (for more information the battery is new and working fine into another 9090.)
The issue is: you can only start it by pressing start button+ reset.
Once is started you can do everything. After a shutdown, if you start it immediately, will start; But if you shutdown it and wait for about 3 or 4 minutes, you cann't start it; you have to press start button + reset button another time.
Any clue about this problem?

I have placed this question in the Q&A thread in the BA section. If you have questions about your device, please post them there. This thread only talks about modding of the original battery of the BA. Thanks.

ok......so your going to "move" every Q&A related question, to its "proper" place?...good luck with that lol.
I have read a few other posts where people try to do something with the MiPhone and it just dies on them and there are never replies back to them on what to do about it. Does anybody know what to do when it just will not turn on or anything? Also, is there a support page or phone number to call?
http://beyondtechgroup.en.alibaba.com/contactinfo.html
That is as close as I can get but there is nothing about support for the product.
PLEASE HELP!!!
I had a similar problem a few days ago...all i had to do, was to open the phone to disconnect the battery for a few moments, pushing the open button without the battery connected and finally reconnecting all the staff back again. That was enough to make my m89 work again normally.
good Night
I wanted to know how I can fix this in my terminal, it currently rooteado and Recovery, also has the jelly bean version .211.
The phone turns on normally lasts no more than a minute and turns off, the first time I did this the screen lock, did nothing, then showed a message that due to temperature problems would go off, leave it a few minutes and turned and turned again but no message was extinguished, the only change made to the cel was the installation of ultra Z home this forum here and on XDA (which is the same) and each time data shown in the background off the screen android system and then goes out.
however some solution? someone else has happened?

Exactly what is happening to my cell. I am assuming that flashing a stock rom with SUS/PC Companion[if you relocked your bootloader and tried] and Flashtool didn't help you. I think that both of our phones are suffering from a hardware problem. I read somewhere that some battery ribbon gets corroded which could have caused this. Also, your battery reporting must also be wrong isn't it?
Btw, wrong section. Should have been in the Q&A Section.
good
I used flashtool again without changing anything in the cel, only ROOT and RECOVERY but when I try to charge the battery with the wall charger is not charging and charging generates errors to be in the 10% up to 50% and then down to 1 %, but with the pc it does not, pienos charger may be because in normal use works well, plus I apologize if my post is in the wrong place please move it to the section indicated gentlemen moderators.

Well I gave my device to Sony for repairs today. I will post details about the problem's real reason, repair cost etc. once I get my device back.
I know there are already a LOT of topics concerning this - I have read through them all frantically, trying to find a solution before turning to asking myself.
So, here's exactly what happened, and what I've tried.
My phone was just fine, running perfectly, nice battery life. I had been running CarbonROM for about 2 months, without any issues, didn't change anything recent to this problem occurring. So one night I was at a party, and didn't have an available charger, so my phone ran out of power completely. The next morning when I came home, I set it to charge, the LED lit up, as far as I remember at least. In the evening I turned it on, and I got to the SIM pin-code unlock screen. I entered the PIN, and my phone turned off. No crash screen or anything, it just went straight out. I figured that maybe it hadn't charged properly, so I let it charge for a few more hours, and then tried again - same thing happened. I instantly tried to turn it on again, but this time nothing happened at all. I held the power button down for at least 1 minute, to no avail. When I put in the charging cable, the LED doesn't light up.
So, as I said, I have been reading around on this forum and other places, trying to find a solution. Some people said holding down the power button and volume up and down at the same time for 2 minutes would fix it, it didn't. I have tried several times. Most recently someone said I should connect my phone to my PC with the USB cable, and then hold down the power button and volume down. This time, something did happen. But not on my phone's end. I have done this 2 times, with the same result. At exactly 7 seconds, my computer turns off, as if I had "choked" it by holding down the power button on the PC. This seems really odd to me, since the phone can't even turn on, so I don't see how there can be any connectivity.
I hope someone here has a solution, knows why it happened, or can at least guide me in replacing any part if needs be. I hope not, though.
Bump
Should I just send it in for a repair? I have an idea that doing so will be very expensive...
