The seller on eBay say's it fully works with AT&T and T-Mobile?
HTC 10h (International version) WILL NOT work on US LTE bands

scroll to the bottom where the specs are and look under "Network" you will see the differences between the radio bands supported by the International/Asia and the America versions of the phone. The International version DOES NOT support all of the 4G LTE bands used by ATT in the US.

LTE band 5 is on both models of the phone, and band 5 is used in some very limited areas of the US, (but not enough to make it worth having a regional only phone at this cost, and the newest LTE uses dual-bands so that technology wouldn't work for you either).
If you live in the US, you absolutely want the US model of this phone if you expect 4G LTE and newer technologies to work for you over a wide area.
Hope this helps someone... I got suckering into ordering an International version off Amazon and it would not work on AT&T 4G LTE in my area (band 2).
Better to order the US version directly from HTC.

I'm asking because the color I want is only available in the US and I live in Europe.

You should check which LTE bands your European carrier is using. Just google it "What LTE band does [your carrier] use in [your country/city]."
The US version supports all LTE bands except 8 (Saudi Arabia) and 32 (no idea where that's used..). en. wikipedia. org / wiki / List_of_LTE_networks

Hello, I have the same problem...How you solved it?
If you load the US unlocked on the international phone, you will pickup some LTE bands. I seem to be able to pickup 4/12, but not 2 with Tmobile

Hi I'd like to know if the US unlocked version of the HTC 10 (that you can order by the official HTC USA site) works on the Italian networks: band 3(1800MHz), 7(2600MHz), 20(800MHz);
so if I buy this phone and I do it to ship from America I can use it in Italy with any networks problem or restriction.

Are you saying the M10H won't work with T-Mobile LTE? Im prepared to S-OFF and install whatever. The vendor listing has the US LTE freqs listed. Is that innacurate?

m10h will not support 2/4/12 unless you convert to US unlocked. I have m10h and am on US unlocked. I seem to pickup 4/12 in some parts of the country, but have yet to see band 2. I'm also skeptical that I get all of band 4, I'm thinking I only get certain frequencies of Band 4.
So which version should I buy to use on AT&T in California?

Are you on T-Mobile? Have you used device in Colorado? I have my M10h coming today, I might just keep it with limited LTE and spring for the US Unlocked version from HTC, keeping the M10h as test dummy for my arm64 Debian experiments...

Yes, tmob. I have used the device in NC, VA, MD, DC, NJ, and NYC. Only in NC and parts of VA can I not get LTE where I should be.

FYI, oneplus chat support referred me to willmyphonework.net. i ordered the north american version to a usa address. its getting shipped to me in tokyo for $26 USPS (6-10 days).
I bought the European model and will have a chance to test in Japan when I get back in September. Will be flying back to Europe for holidays.
As long as your phone supports the 2100Mhz (B1) band it should work (as far as I can tell, I sure hope so otherwise my oneplus would be useless hehe). Coverage in the country side and mountains might be poor but my Ymobile pocket wifi always had crap reception in the mountains anyway so no big change there hehe.
Edit: I believe the USA is a bit special when it comes to the frequencies used. Unless you are from the USA you might be better off when the European model as that seems to have better global support.
North America version ordered from and shipped to USA, then forwarded by post ($26, 10 days) works fine with data sim. I don't have a voice sim here in Tokyo to try.

Just bands and likely the absence in the US model of the certification label at the bottom of the back of the device (like Nexus 6P, that hasn't them in the US version and has them in the international version).
The bands are different. The USA model wouldn't be able to use 4G in Europe. You'd be stuck using 3G.

are you sure ? In my country (Switzerland) we use mostly LTE Bands 3,7 and 20 and as you can see, the 3 bands are in both version.
I only see a difference in the LTE 2X CA and LTE 3X CA where the combinaison are not the same.

My advice is to wait and see. Google posted a similar spec sheet last year for the Nexus 6P. It was corrected after while. It would be wise to wait until the phone is actually out and see if the page gets corrected.
Should the page be correct, then the USA version will work in Europe. You just won't have lte-advanced. Carrier aggregation depends on band combinations. None of the European bands are combined on the USA version.
Why nobody knows the real name of the models? For the Nexus 5 there was the D820 and D821, what about Pixel?

FCC changed the rules to allow for device certification notices to be part of the Firmware, Google took advantage of this with the NA model (Settings > About Phone > Regulatory Labels), I'm guessing that there are territories outside USA & Canada that still require the labels on the body of the device.

If you are a Project Fi user, another important difference is that you can not use Project Fi with the international version of the Pixel XL.

From that list, it seems that while the international version supports almost all of the bands that the US version does and then some, the US version is still better in the US due to more applicable carrier aggregation support.
Anyone knows what the Carrier Aggregation bands are for the Google Pixel 2 XL?
On the original Pixel phones, the US sets and Rest-of-the-World sets have different bands for Carrier Aggregation (i.e. LTE-ADVANCED aka LTE-A aka 4G+).
Wondering if it's the same for Google Pixel 2 and 2 XL?
The Pixel 2 supports 3 Carrier Aggregation, 4x4 MIMO, and 256 QAM. It also supports 700MHz and Wi-Fi Calling according to T-Mobile.
I think they specifiy which bands support carry aggregation in the tech specs for the phone at the Google Play Store. Also if you search around you can find that FCC listing that shows the bands and technologies supported.
I'm referring to the exact bands that will be paired to get Carrier Aggregation. If you look at the official tech specs for the original Pixel phones, you'll see that these are clearly stated. But not so for the Pixel 2 phones....

You're right MIMO and Carrier Aggregation are not the same. I was also curious about which specific bands could be aggregated which is how I found this thread.
Seems Google chose not to list the aggregation band combinations for the Pixel 2's like they did for the original Pixels. At least I haven't found it listed anywhere yet.
lol why doesn't pixel 2 have the x16 LTE modem like with S8/S8+/Note 8?
The upload is only 75 Mbps, while oneplus 5 has 150 Mbps..
Given the price their asking, this is just pathetic and cheap of them..

You are totally right, my mistake. I mistook the two while I posted in a hurry.
Google's hasn't listed what bands can be combined on the Pixel 2 XL. I did find how ever that the first Pixel started to support 3x CA since it got Oreo.
It's very likely that the CA bands already supported on the Pixel, will also be support on the Pixel 2 phones.
We'll just have to wait for confirmation.
I'm pretty sure the band's that will aggregate will depend on the carrier and the total bandwidth allocation for each band. So long as the total of the aggregated bands is less than the total capacity of the device, the device will aggregate all bands available from the carrier.
As the title states, is there a VZW specific radio for the Pixel 2 XL? I have the unlocked international version of the phone.
I've loaded a custom ROM, but the signal strength is poor and data is constantly dropping or switching from 4G > 3G.

I've also tried all combo's of network type, but nothing seems to help. My 6P runs on VZW just fine using the "Global" for preferred network type.
There's also a post on one of the ROM threads where VZW peeps are having the same issues. I had to revert back to my 6P as the Pixel was unusable with the signal and data drops.
