Hi,
I need to flash my phone with that exact firmware version in RETEU region, but I can't find proper firmware anywhere. Can anyone help me with that?
Or maybe can I do this:
Code:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
Using RETAIL firmware region safely?

I'm on a custom rom and i want to update my radio and bootloader to the latest versions, but I've read that it's better return to stock when updating these images, can i update these images while on a custom rom using the fastboot commands:
fastboot flash bootloader C:\bullhead\images\bootloader-bullhead-bullhead-xx.xx.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio C:\bullhead\images\radio-bullhead-bullhead-xx.xx.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
,without returning to stock or can it be updated while on a custom rom?
(I'm sorry if my question is stupid but i'm paranoid and don't want to end up with paperweight lol)
Thanks.
@niklus101: you can update them from custom ROM, by fastboot or by recovery.

Isn't necessary but It's necessary flash the vendor.img too, I think. Why do you need to update radio and bootloader?

If it is hard bricked, I think that even with the full ota it'll be hard to fix your device.
If it is soft bricked, then you can flash twrp, then flash los or RR rom (you can find them in our device development threads) and fix your phone. Then you can take your time to find an official rom (if you want)
Hope you manage to fix it

When that happened to me, it was because I was using emui 5 and tried to apply a system.img from emui 4. It won't be possible.
The trick here is: search in forum for bluesmoothie's backup (the original link is down. Search for the bluesmoothie's backup that Henkate uploaded) and then restore it via twrp. When you do that, twrp will reformat your system partition. Then you can try to flash via fastboot the system.img

try taking your simcards out, unlock bootloader and flash the rom mi downloads(website), use flash all, but fastboot erase boot_b also, just add it to the bat file, then there should be absolute no problems in searching for update.

I have this problem after installing a 8.1 stock ROM on my Moto G5S (Montana) XT1792. Does not appear in the band, IMEI is unknown and does not recognize the chip. It is not a hardware problem that was working normally after I performed the stock ROM installation procedure. I have already downgraded, installed a custom ROM and nothing, so for not knowing more or asking XDA members for help. Thanks in advance!

I think that downgrading is possible, but is never 100% safe. Maybe you will be lucky... Or maybe not. Also with miflash you can flash older android version... But if the phone goes into soft brick... I think is better for you stay on a11. Is a good system. With a lot of custom rom. Downgrade to 9 is useless in my opinion
