Trying to install a custom rom I bricked my phone. Now when I turn on it there only appears Huawei logo.
I tried installing stock rom putting in a SD the update.app in dload, then pressing vol+ vol- and power but htere appears software installation failed.
How can I fix this? I am really worried about this.
Sorry if my English is bad
To install stock rom you must first change recovery to stock

Hello People!
I have a BIG PROBLEM :/ My phone is the E988
After rooting my phone, adding CWM Recovery and try to install a custom ROM (CM) something went wrong. While trying to install by CWM the phone turned off and now it's like if the ROM hasn't been installed completely. Now i think looks like I have parts of two different ROMs (stock and CM). I can't turn on my phone, the OS ins't starting... Only the home button and LG logo is shown blinking.
Anyone have an idea how can I fix it? I can't start the phone to use USB mode or even Recovery mode through HOME + Volume UP + Power button.
I also would like to know if there's a ROM with Portuguese-BR language available. I've trid to istall CM for this reason, but I'd like something close to the Stock ROM
I would appreciate some help.
Thanks.
Check out this thread. Good luck!

About the ROM with PT-BR language, something?
HELP! I upgraded my Ascend P6 to B510 (after going from B125 to B132 the day before). At first it seemed like it was working, but then I got the message "System UI has stopped" over and over again. I tried to reboot the phone, but it stayed stuck on the "Huawei Ascend" logo. Now, I try to turn it off, but it just restarts and then goes to the same screen. After a long time it will eventually play the startup animation and then go to the Huawei Logo, but it stays stuck there. I'm new to Android so I might just be making stupid mistakes, but I can't seem to access bootloader or fast recovery mode. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
While restarting the phone, press and hold all three buttons (power button , volume up , volume down) and it will bring you to the recovery mode where you can whipe dalvick/cache and make a reset to the phone. If that doesnt help with booting to the system then download some stock firmware and put it on your sd card and boot to recovery again. That way you gonna start the update process and reflash the system. If that doesnt work too write here and we'll see what to do next.

Hi all.
I need help from a hivemind. I've got a LG G E988 with E98820B firmware. I've rooted it via ioroot (successfully) and tried to install custom recovery via freegee, and now my phone is not booting into download mode. If I try to reboot it from my PC using adb, I get "boot certification verify" error. Otherwise phone is booting fine into it's stock HK firmware.
So, long story short, I need download mode to flash stock european firmware but I have this strange error. Closest thing to solution of my problem is this thread , but I want something less radical. In case if something less radical exists.
Any ideas?

Did you power off device via home power button? When you power down, then try to power back on just hit the power button then hold the plus and minus volume rocker while letting go of power button.
Yes. It casually boots up into rom. I think I somehow messed up my recovery. So is there any way to restore recovery, or flash custom recovery, without booting up in download mode?

Enable USB Debugging
Connect mobile with PC and select LG Software (Wait for 1-2 minutes and let the drivers install)
Once drivers are installed, Run LG flash tool and start flashing KDZ. It will automatically boot it into download mode and flashing process will start. (If flashing stops / stuck at 4% and your phone is in download mode, remove USB cable, close LG flashtool.... connect USB cable again and restart KDZ flashing)
Tried. Now I can't boot into download mode AND can't boot into rom. And none of my computers see my phone in this state. Any possible explanations for such situation? And what to do about it..
*help needed* huawei p6 stuck in bootloop *help needed*

I need some help on my huawei p6 that is stuck in a bootloop. Ofcourse there is a solution with recovery mode, but i can't get into the recovery mode. Can someone please help me with this problem???
Thanks in advance.

Get a update.app and put it in the dload directory. It will install a working from. (Update.app is a rom) then press the vol up and down plus the power on button.
Can you enter bootloader mode atleast?

Update.app will update the whole with everything and that is all you need to have a working phone (I use the b708) .
Put the update.app in a directory called dload in yr sd card (if you do nto have, create one.
Press the Volume + and Vol - and then Press the power button. It will get you install the update.app.
The rest is immaterial and I cant help you.
He said he cant get into recovery, so update.app wont help him at this moment unless he can make it work.

[B708 version]
This is very strange. I just had the same problem today. Appeared out of nowhere and for no reason. Very odd bug.
If TWRP is installed, you can still access the bootrecovery. Well again with the power button and volume + -.
Wipe cache and cache davil.
This solves the problem.
BUT ... I noticed that the connection 3G / 4G stops working then. SOLUCE ---> android phone switched on the desktop, remove the SIM card "hot plug" and return. The phone will ask to restart. Restart!
Plug in the USB phone to conserve the battery (caution).
Otherwise install TWRP in adb mode if debug mode was previously activated and make the approach.

hello we are equal . My ascend p6 not work out that way
could you fix it?
This is very weird indeed, I have the same problem and of course I have it on B708, this one to be exact.
It worked fine for a few months, when it just started to reboot.
I didn't pay much attention to it at that moment, but after a week or so I got bootloops, (4-5 restarts at the logo) and then it would start.
And one day it failed to start, i would get only bootloops.
I tried getting in recovery and do a wipe / format, it barely worked.
The system went ON for a few minutes then totally crashed.
I couldn't get it started, I couldn't get in bootloader / fasboot (or whatever it's called) and not even recovery.
Every time I try to get in any of them the phone just bootloops.
I have no idea what to do since I can't flash a Rom 'cuz I can't get in the damned bootloader or recovery.
Can anyone help us?
Hello,
I unlocked the bootloader on my LG G4, flashed TWRP and then using TWRP flashed a SuperSU plus a new bootloader for Android M along with the Android M system etc...
The phone is now stuck in a bootloop.
I can no longer get in to TWRP and can get into download mode very briefly before the phone reboots again. My PC can not detect the phone at all.
Can anyone help? Have a feeling I've hard bricked the phone
Thanks, Ben
i have the same issue

wait flastool update for put android 6.0 kdz . antiroll back system on motherboard
Hello Everyone. Someone has got news? Cause my lg g4 stuck on the same issue.
I unlock bootloader and try to install twrp. Via fastboot flash command twrp doesn't seem to get installed. So i try to boot in twrp and then install the img to the recovery partition. All seemed to go fine. When i try to reboot to recovery twrp ask me to root the device. Why not? I leave twrp installs superSu (I think this was my mistake). Now I've a continuous bootloop, even if I simply plug it to the charger. Vol down + Power buttons neither vol up + power doesn't work.
Sorry for bad english
I think one way is to disconnect the battery by disassembling the phone(check Google), then reconnect it and boot to recovery using the correct key combinations. I hope it works. It worked for me.
Install the LGUP tool:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
Install both file.
Download the kdz files:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64298942&postcount=6
This V20A MM, for 5.1 or v20b you have to search.
Power down your phone.
Push and hold Volume Up and then plug the phone via USB to your PC.
The Phone enter the download mode.
Start LGUP, select the KDZ file.
If you choose "upgrade" all data will be obtain, if you choose "refurbish" all data will be lost.
I suggest "refurbish" because for me "upgrade" dont work without fc and system carshes.
Wait around 5 minutes and your G4 is back with MM, clean and fresh.
Thanks hannsheinz for the reply.
I solved this night in this way (very similar to your suggestion):
- I downloaded and installed LG Bridge from the official website.
- I pull out the battery to power off the device.
- I reinsert the battery in the device, without power it on.
- I plug in the usb while pressing volume up button.
- The device entered the download mode and LG Bridge recognized it.
- I press "update error recovery" in Lg Bridge (bottom right in the Software update tab).
- The procedure will take a while according to your pc and internet connection.
- At the end my G4 "breathed again and still breathing"
Very similar to what hannsheinz suggested.
Thanks to all
