Just wondering if there is any unique serial number on the back of every controller? or is it just the model number? I really appreciate if someone can quickly check and confirm?
Thanks in advance....!!!

Hi guys,
Where is the physical IMEI number shown on our phones? Is there a sticker under the battery?
I lost my T-989 last week so I can't look.
Appreciate your help; it may help me get it back.

Thanks truckerdewd.
How easy is it to spoof an IMEI?
I can identify my phone even if it has been spoofed and the sticker removed; just curious.

Hey, im goin to buy N7 from local store (vijay sales) , hearing from a distributor that they are from Grey market,
Thus can you upload the sticker label on your N7 boxes, so that I can match them ? like manufactured at etc...

Thanks for your serial number... You should be careful posting such stuff, better make serial number and important things unreadable. But I might be wrong and it's not the tablet sn

Your IMEI is written on a sticker, under the battery. If you really played with IMEI numbers in the past, like you claimed, you'd have known this all along. Every phone has the IMEI number written somewhere on the device, because it is a unique number (not to mention, it is also written on the box). I suspect you are trying to replace your IMEI number with another one for whatever reason, so good luck...

Don't you know a shop in a remote corner that does that kind of job? I'm sure they'd happily attach a Nokia 3310 IMEI number to your N3N

Your name is Turkish. If the country in question is indeed Turkey, than what you are asking is ILLEGAL. Just my 2 cents...

Hi guys,
I'm planning to get the note 7. Just wondering if anyone can post an image of a brand new unit if you got one. Does it really have the letter S mark? Or the black mark? Thanks!
It has a bomb with an X over it

Mine was the canadian version. Has the black square.
Wow that's it? The black square? OK it is good to know, but those out there with malicious intent, selling defective units on the 'Black Market' can easily draw up a replica symbol on the label to pass off as new 'Safe' units.
You can check the imei on samsungs website

Unfortunately I haven't opened it or made any other observations. I sold the new one on Craigslist unopened. I wanted an exynos version so will wait to get my hands on one of those after after the dust settles from the recall.
What I did notice was that the label with the black square was on top of the original label.
So my assumption is that these units were old stock, but Samsung knew which units had the unaffected batteries and therefore just relabeled them with a new identifier(black square) to know good from bad.

Did you have to send back your affected device? What happens if you don't?

Only this letter was included in the shipping box with the new phone box.
It just tells me to drop off old unit at a Samsung store. On back side of letter it just names all the locations that i can drop it off.
No mention of what happens if i don't or no mention of any deadlines to drop it off by. I originally bought my unit from Samsung.ca.
They probably have my credit card on file and would just Bill me if they didn't receive my recalled unit

Add "persist.debug.wfd.enable=1" to the end of your build.prop then reboot your phone
When you go to cast in the system settings under connected devices, hit the 3 dots in the top right and tap the check mark

Going to need $5,000.00 US for this. Please show proof of funds before I reveal.
I will do it for 4999.
I'll do it for a dollar
For $1000, couldn't you just buy a compatible TV?
