Your IMEI is written on a sticker, under the battery. If you really played with IMEI numbers in the past, like you claimed, you'd have known this all along. Every phone has the IMEI number written somewhere on the device, because it is a unique number (not to mention, it is also written on the box). I suspect you are trying to replace your IMEI number with another one for whatever reason, so good luck...

Don't you know a shop in a remote corner that does that kind of job? I'm sure they'd happily attach a Nokia 3310 IMEI number to your N3N

Your name is Turkish. If the country in question is indeed Turkey, than what you are asking is ILLEGAL. Just my 2 cents...

[Q] multiple question

Hi guys im new to this site so sorry if this is posted in the wrong section. Anyway I found a HTC desire at the V festival and have since spent the last couple of days trying to get it too work but have failed as the phone is blacklisted. So I have two questions for you guys number one is there Anyway to un-blacklist this handset?
And my other question is kinda random, if I cannot un-blacklisted this handset will it work in Ireland on a non UK carrier like meteor?
Thanks in advance
Mark.
What you want to do is illegal.
What you should have done is try to return to its rightful owner. However, you've clearly chosen not to do that and so are guilty of theft.
You'll get no help here.

No its not like that. I got hold of the owner and said id send it too him in the post but he said he has already claimed on insurance for it so he has a new Desire already. I then got his address and shipped him his sim card (for the numbers) and his SD card as I don't need it. He said I could keep the phone but according to T-Mobile once you claim on insurance the other handset will stay blacklisted so its useless now. So I did try to get it back to the owner but he says he has no need for it.
It's still illegal. The phone doesn't belong to you, and if this second story is true, it belongs to the insurance company now.
I fully understand that it's not my phone but it seems a waste as all it could be used for is a media player and web browser. So what would you suggest I do with the phone?
Can't comment what I would do with the phone as it would too be illegal.
Ask elsewhere. I doubt the rules on this forum will allow you to get an answer here.

If he's already claimed on insurance, he's not the phones owner any more - the insurance company is! Trying to sell it could still get you charged with theft.
Regards,
Dave
No only that but the original owner could get done for insurance fraud for letting you keep it ...:..

Volume Up instead of down.
That sounds like a fake device though, as that's not the correct details for a genuine I9100. So I doubt anything on XDA will work for it.

It's not a real I9100... Kies shouldn't ask for a model and serial number that I know of... It sounds like a fairly poor attempt at a clone... All these are totally wrong:

The likelihood is that KIES is asking for that information because it doesn't know what you've connected to it. I would suggest that you listen to Pulser - you have bought one of the many clones out there, which means that there will be no official support, no unofficial support and probably no way of ever getting anything other than the firmware you bought it with.

You're doubting an Elite Recognized Developer AND Senior Moderator on xda-developers.com?
Clearly, you don't know what you're talking about. I suggest you start reading up on the GT-I9100 and it's codes, then you'll see that you bought a clone. I own a GT-I9100 myself and it does NOT have the model #, baseband and software version you're posting.
I'm sorry in advance if this post sounds harsh to you, but evidently you seem to ignore the facts and this is the only way to get through to you.
The reason I can be so certain is because that's not a Samsung version string...
A samsung modem uses the XXLK6 style of naming...
XX = region code
L = 2012 (L is 12th letter of the alphabet)
K = November (K is 11th letter)
6 = build number that month.
For full version strings they also include the model number ie. I9100XXLK6
That version string just isn't the right one for a genuine i9100... It's not am official S2. Googling those version numbers only shows me Vietnamese website forums of users with these fake devices...

You bought it from a local market - what did you really expect to happen? Take it back to the seller and demand your money back - IF he was claiming it to be genuine. If he wasn't then you get no sympathy at all.

Since it was mentioned to be some special edition... That might be the issue. There wasn't a special edition... Also I'm sure the price was much lower than the price of a genuine one... A real galaxy s2 was £400 new on day of purchase.
I'd say the current value new is around £220.
If you were paying well under the price, you need to ask what is wrong with it. Either it is stolen, fake, or broken...
It's an unfortunate lesson, but an important one. Always try to buy your electronics from reputable stores, that are linked to the manufacturer somehow...
Be thankful the charger or phone hasn't caught fire (this is an issue on some fake electronics I've looked at, due to them failing to add safety features)

What would make you think that it is not a real Samsung S3? The phones info all appears to be fine. The imei # is different on each, so I do not know how you would look it up? Either way you should be safe from what i can tell

The error looks more like a website error (unable to load the included page).

I looked up the number on a site and got nothing, i have a feeling it was a fake site just to steal numbers.
I even chatted with a samsung guy on the site and he said it was legit.

Bottom lime in, if you are so unsure even after out input, DONT buy the phone, otherwise purchase away!! I personally never heard of a fake SG3 but im only one person in my little corner of the world. Bet you were using this as well to check!!?? (http://www.samsunguniverse.com/samtools/samwarranty/)
Either way, i'd say take your chances!!
Looks like a problem with samsung's website, not an error relating to the phone information being not genuine.
Id say go for it. The s3 is a solid phone.

Friend and I bought stolen phones from china accidentally :( Help us

I know this is a forum for Devs, but I can't find anywhere else to ask this.
We bought two collectors edition phones and are being told they won't connect to network without changing IMEI or something, is this do-able?
Is it possible to buy a normal version of the phone (S6 Edge) and change the IMEI with the collectors version?

Well, I never had the oportunity to open one, but i think you need to heat up the back with a heat gun and then take off the glass... But after you've done that, it will be easy to put together again! And also, if you want the software that the special edition have, you can try doing a rom backup and put ot on the new one..
Again, I haven't tested any of this..

Where to buy real LG G4 (H815) motherboards?

All the motherboards on Aliexpress are fake - run @steadfasterX's SALT and it shows they've all been modified in some way, with crazy ARBs of 20 and even 40!
Where (or which seller) would you guys recommend getting legit motherboards, and not frankenboards?
The phone was released in 2015, I don't think LG still makes motherboards for this phone.

I haven't checked recently but there is/ was an Israel- based seller on ebay selling H815 boards. I bought two a couple years back, about $50 apiece, the default language is Hebrew but of course a different one can be selected during setup... Still amusing that the phone dialer shows Hebrew numbering. AFAIK they are real, never had any problems.

Hi guys, I seem to have a franken h815 too. I wanted to find out the actual model by checking the motherboard.
All that I see is a little qr code with one number underneath: RS1017 (or BS1017) and one number on the side: 066C15. I could not find out which model corresponds to that, could you help me?
Edit: Found it out already, the model is written on the backside of the motherboard
