Touch latency - Lenovo P2 Questions & Answers

Has anyone measured the touch latency of this phone? Also do custom ROMs running 7.1 .x make any improvement?

which rom for 44khz video sound, fast UI and good battery

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if anybody here has used any of the custom roms that offer 44khz sound in the video recording app.
I'm currently using the stock froyo 2.2 and am getting good battery life after disabling network data and sync. So the rom will need to be as good or better.
I was using Insertcoin 2.0.0 A2SD+ for a while, before switched to data++ (same Rom, with some internal memory tweaks).
Fast, battery life was better than stock (thanks to the modified kernel) - 44 khz sound works except in 720p (Gingerbread based Roms will have 44khz in 720p).
Sounds good, so what datarate does insertcoin offer in 720p, is it that ****ty 8khz crap?
Also, what is data++ like compared to insertcoin, what audio sample rates are offered on data++?
Yes, in 720p it is that 8khz recording sound.
Data++ compared to A2SD+ shortly:

So, phone feels smoother than with A2SD+. But also it requires your phone to be S-OFF and having a custom NAND partiton table.
P.S.: There are already good Gingerbread ROMs in the developement thread with 720p and 44 khz (as I heard). But I'll wait a few weeks, till they will be perfected

[Q] Video Mic audio recording quality?

HI all - it seems as if every time I'm at a live music performance and want to record a video, the audio is absolutely atrocious. I saw that there may have been some sort of bitrate mod for the Epic Touch to address this, is there anything for the Epic?
Running CM 10.0, FWIW. Generally using Camera ICS+. No custom kernels.

Run a custom kernel Anything with Voodoo Sound will provide vastly superior audio playback and recording! I unfortunately have no suggestions for which to run though, since you're still rocking CM 10.0, but there are a few if you check the Developers section. I run the AOKP ROM with Nitest Kernel and have zero issues, but you have to run some other kernel then what comes packaged with the ROM because AOKP doesn't include Voodoo Sound code (plus, Nitest makes things much more responsive). One small additional caveat though, the thread for Nitest is Didhy's version and it doesn't natively include BigMem code for 720p video and requires you to flash an additional package, but Effsi's version comes with it included. This is Effsi's version of Nitest if you're interested. It's from March 8 but I had been running it up until two days ago, so don't let it's age deter you, but he's working on an update
Let me rephrase that, no custom kernels yet
I don't want to go to 4.2.2 due to the Bluetooth issues...

What issues? I don't use my Epic as a phone, not that I'd use a BT headset anyways, but BT has worked just fine for me to do a device-to-device file transfer. So either it isn't affecting that portion of BT's abilities, or AOKP have resolved whatever it is...
At any rate. I'm not sure what Radio you use (Epic or Nexus), but here is Effsi's last Nitest for JB v4.1 (Epic Radio).

[Q] AOSP roms performance

Hi, some AOSP roms for N7100 are considered as "stable" (like SlimBean), but they still got bluetooth signal problems; most (all?) browsers are laggy, 3D games performance is low. Is there any stable kernel to fix those issues for AOSP roms?

[Q] CM and CM based rom bluetooth sound quality

All CM based roms from around 4.1.2 to 4.4.2 all seem to have the same folly. On certain bluetooth devices the playback of audio is slowed down sounding lower pitched, and it is choppy with skips.
Going from a clean CM, to trying a more rounded Liquid Smooth there is no difference.
Flashing to a stock ROM clears this issue.
Now, the problem is that 4.4.2 is much much much much much more pleasant to utilize from the eye candy, to it's features (most importantly the dialer), and customizable settings. Let's face it, 4.3 is crap in comparison.
Is there hope that the CM source that the other roms use will be fixed to eliminate this bug? Can the old blueZ stack be baked into the roms? There is thought that the old stack offered better sound quality.

[LG D855] Best rom and kernel for performance for screen recording while gaming?

Hi everyone!
TL;DR:
Need Rom that can delivery max performance to game and record at 1080p
Need Kernel for max performance (idc about battery, but not performance governors pls, I care about temperatures!)
---
I was thinking about starting a YouTube channel where I record myself playing a recently developed game, I tried recording with Screen Recorder and Az Recorder and the game stutters quite a bit.
I am currently on Cloudy 2.5 and Gabriel Kernel, I've tried already CM 12 and 13 (but at the time it had a bug that forced me to switch to cloudy).
So my question was, which rom is the most lightweight? So I can use all my CPU and GPU to deliver max performance to game and recording and which kernel offers the most performances?
I know that I could set the governor to performance but that will result in an hour of gaming maximum plus the fact that the LG G3 suffers from overheating problems (16gb model )
Thanks all in advance!!
