Random restarts - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have problem with my lg g3 d855.. I am using miui 8 now and i get random restarts,it is not only on miui,i had same problem with lots of rom (even with stock).. And before restart i have like 50-60% battery but after restart (sometime it is only one restart, and some times i gets even to 5 restarts in about 2-3 min) i get 5-15%... Can it be that my battery is really old and used for like 1-2 years.. And will it fix if i get 6000mhA or 10000mhA battery? Thank you

It looks like battery problem. Get a new one. It should fix Your problem

Does it reboot when on charger? If yes, it might not be a battery problem. If no, it is battery.

You need a new battery. Try to find one that was produced recently.

Just be careful. Buy known brands as batteries are not something you should gamble with.

Nexus 7 Screen Not Displaying Anything

I've looked around the forums and everywhere online but no one seems to have a solution to my problem. A few days ago i was using my Nexus 7 and i placed it down normally and shut the screen off. I came back to use it a few minutes later and the screen didn't turn on though the device itself was still on. I thought maybe it was just some lag which happens occasionally after i press the power button. I tried restarting it but the screen just stayed black. I think it is still charging because the led notification light still lights up every few seconds as usual and it still seems to be powered on. Is there a possible solution to fix this quickly or would i have to send it back to ASUS since it has been about 6 months since i purchased it?
Can you access to the bootloader ?
I can't actually see the screen so i guess no
Have you tried pressing the power button for longer than a minute?
If that doesn't work you may need to RMA to Asus.

I just found out that my mom threw out the box that the nexus 7 was shipped in, meaning i no longer have the warranty or serial number. Is there any way to access this information otherwise?

I think you have to take the back off for that. I am not sure though. Maybe someone that has taken their nexus apart can chime in.

Is it necessary to have the original charger? I don't have it because it broke on me about a month after having it.

It requires me to root the phone. Didn't find any app which works without rooting.
This is clear case to go to reseller.
Why to have headache?

You didn't do anything what could mess with original software.
It simply should work or "money back".

Useless, it's not about the display, it's about the motherboard.

Yes! that's what i discovered now, i went to recovery mode (Power Button+Vol down button) and i was so suprised that it lasted 2 hours now without shutting down or fading to darkness
Now i'm confused, if it was a hardware problem then we will face the same problem but i'm not sure if it's the motherboard

You have to stress the phone to see if it is stable. Recovery is a low resource environment, boot into Android and then see it is not working. Trust me, i have a device with the same symptoms and fixed it by baking the motherboard in an oven.

You don't really need a new motherboard, unless you are afraid of the oven.

one of my replies in another thread has a little guide. Just search in my profile.

Phone doesn't boot with a replaced battery

So recently I've ordered a new battery for my OnePlus 3, only to stumble upon a baffling issue - when I try to boot my phone or connect it to a power source with the battery swapped, it does nothing except shows a linux penguin logo, bootloader is also inaccessible. Does anyone have any idea what might be the issue?
EDIT:Boots perfectly with the stock battery put back.

If you put back the old battery does it function then?
If not
1. You ****ed up your hardware somehow
2. You might want to try the unbrick guide method 2.

Yes, I connected it just fine. And it does look pretty legit, I've emailed the seller and should receive a new one shortly, if the problem persists the battery is most likely a knock off, though I've no idea what could prevent it from working properly.

AFAIK, no original batteries are available for the OP3/3T in the market or online. It is only available with OnePlus.
So most probably the battery you bought is not original and there is no way of telling how it will behave.
I'm afraid it is made in Japan, Germany or Usa..

No way. It would be made in China though there are some companies there manufacturing better stuff.
Can you provide a link of the website if you bought it online? Or a photo of the battery?

My phone is not charging at all. The original charger works fine, I tested it with other phones. My phone is not charging with any other chargers also. But it is only charging when it is switched off. When I turn it on it doesn't charge anymore. Please help me. Is it a software issue or hardware issue?

As you said that when you charge with original charger, it charges. And if you use other charger, it's only charging in "switched off mode". If can, bring it to your service centre. Ask them. If they diagnosed it's hardware issue, then follow what they said. Rather than that, I don't know.
