After installing cyanogenmod 6.0 for n7100 and beanstalk 6.0 for n7100 I found out that my data plan does not work on either of these roms. Also, my phone says its a sgh-i317 but my settings say that its a n7100. Help pls.
Im now unrooting the phone and putting a stock rom on it but it says that my phone is a t03g when its actually a t0lteatt in twrp. How do I change this back?
Before flashing anything else, confirm the model number in download mode. This is the only way to reliably determine the correct model number.

Did you find one, I had found one but the link no longer works and I don't know what happened to my copy of the stock rom (md5 and pit files)... please let me know
I was trying to root my device through Odin.. i found a couple different things though this forum to flash through TWRP but none worked, it seems I have the wrong device and noone has made one compatible with it. Anyway, my system status is changed from Original to Custom and my build number has changed. I am trying to change it back to the stock recovery... and back to normal. I cant find any downloads for this. Could someone please direct me. My normal build number, version, and other info that I need a stock for:
Build number: kot49h.t310ueucnk1
Version: 4.4.2
SM-T310
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0
I'd really appreciate it if someone did this for me, because multiple apps seem to not work...

I dont think changing of build numbers actually related to your apps. Try this link: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/38524/T310UEUCNK1_T310XARCNK1_XAR

Nothing will happen if you change the build number, but if you still want to change it search for your device and look for its build number
example": Samsung galaxy tab 3 sm-t310 build number.

Hm... Strange. Have you tried doing a factory data reset? that may help since there was stuff put into your system... at least I think. Or you could look for a stock firmware and flash it via odin. Also, since you do have a custom recovery you can flash root via the custom recovery and then you'll gain root then you can unroot to fix the problems. I never really had this problem but you can try those steps and maybe it will work. Can you tell me if you tried any of these steps and if it work?
I have an SGH-1747M which I am sure is the correct model since that it is what it said before I installed a new ROM and it is the model listed at the back of the phone, with the serial number. Recently, I installed a Lollipop ROM from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-sprint/development/rom-d2spr-cyanogenmod-12-1-t3074688
The ROM was meant for for the model SPH-L710, but it managed to be installed on my SGH-1747M phone. The ROM, although it works perfectly, has changed the model number on my phone to SPH-L710, and now my phone is only compatible with d2spr. I tried installing the ROM actually meant for my phone but I was unable to since my phone isn't d2att (the actual code for my phone) anymore. I tried installing a stock ROM through odin but it still won't recognize my phone as SGH-1747M.
I need to know how I can return back to my default model, since I have been told I will have network problems with the current ROM since it is not meant for my phone.

Visit this thread but don't flash anything else until you have read and asked for help there . Post there and explain your situation and even private message the op if you need to . http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2363882
I would just be extremely careful with this. Do you make a nandroid backup before flashing? I would restore that or a previous one first. That will probably fix your problem.
Have you tried to flash one of the Unified CM 11 Zips? Those are kind of universal installer, see if that will fix your problem. http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=d2lte Download this and make sure you wipe everything a few times. Then install the zip.
People on here bricked devices by downgrading to certain modems/basebands after flasher a newer one. It seems like you have a newer modem, so I wouldn't try it. If you can still get into download mode, I would flash the latest tar for your device. I'm pretty sure it is an AT&T device or close variant.

Thanks it worked.
Hi all and a great big up to the developers of XDA. Thank you very much for your time and helps you give, really thank you.
Tonight, I just ask you the problem I encounter with my phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note II but quite frankly I do not know if it's a GT-N7100 or SPH-L900.
When I go into Settings "About device"; here is the info I have:
1) Software Version: L900VPUCHO3; Hardware Version: L900.09; Android Version: 4.4.2; Model Number: SPH-L900; Baseband Version: L900VPUCHO3; Kernel Version: 3.0.31-3084104 dpi @ SWHD8903 # 1 Mon Aug 24 5:13:18 p.m. KST 2015; Build Number: KOT49H.L900VPUCHO3
If we stick to these information, the phone is really Galaxy Note II SPH-L900
However, when I use my IMEI number on the site imei.info this is what I like information:
2) Model: N7100 Galaxy Note II
Brand: SAMSUNG
IMEI: TAC: 990002 FCC: 11 SNR: 936743 CD: 9
http://www.imei.info/?imei=990002119367439
So please, tell you what's wrong with this phone and if possible how to go about solving the problem, thank you!

The imei # could have been re-programmed.
Are you getting the imei by dialling *#06#?

But please, it's possible to flash GT-N7100 stock rom on SPH-L900 sprint?
I'm not familiar with the SPH-L900. If the bootlaoder is unlocked, you may be able to flash TWRP and a custom ROM based on a stock n7100 ROM.
If you want to use Odin, you won't be able to flash the n7100 ROM to the L900 because Odin will prevent flashing an n7100 ROM to a phone with an L900 bootloader.
Where did you get the phone?

I purchased the phone with a friend who brought used usa.
However, how do you think it is possible to flash GT-N7100 sstock rom on SPH-L900?
Also before I forget, even with the official rom my phone I can not activate mobile data because it does not exist in phone so I have to connect on the wifi only.
You may not be able to connect to your cell company because the phone may not support the required frequencies.
Also, the phone is a CDMA phone: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note_ii_cdma-5152.php
I don't know of any way to flash a stock N7100 rom onto a L900.

Then my phone is good for the trash ... :crying:
Did you compare your cell company's frequencies to the phone?
Did you try to manually add your company's APN settings to the phone for data? Can you make phone calls?

Yes I can make calls even send messages. By cons, you can not manually add APN data from my operator as this part does not exist in the official rom my phone. My when I installed the custom rom Cyanogenmod 12.0 Nightly, I could put my APN data operator and Internet access via mobile data because this option exists in the CyanogenMod ROM.
Did you try to flash a stock L900 ROM to the phone, root, and add APN?

Yes and now that's what is the official rom SPH-L900 that is installed on my phone and I even rooter but still can not add the APN data from my operator as always nonexistent option in Roma .
In addition, there are only three languages (English, Chinese and Spanish) ...
Yes, the Sprint phones lave limited languages. Have you tried morelocale app to add languages?
The APN may be locked because the phone was made for use on Sprint.
What about flashing TWRP and a custom ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-2-sprint/development

Apparently I bought a bad phone ...
With all these little worries, I admit I am bummed
Don't be bummed. The phone is a good phone and may be perfectly suitable after installing a custom ROM.
One CM, were you able to connect to the data network?

Yes, under CyanogenMod 12.0 (Android 5.0.2) I was able to connect with mobile data.
But with Cyanogenmod 12.1 (Android 5.1.) And received my calls emitted out unknown
Maybe try a ROM that is based on the stock Sprint ROM.

Ok but could you please help me find
If the current ROM is rooted, this might help, although it is a paid version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ale.android.apnmanagerwithanimation&hl=en
There may be free apn managers available on the Play store.
This ROM may also work: Maybe this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...m-stock-oh3-rooted-deknoxed-deodexed-t3221123
Hello everyone, so long story short I accidentally flashed my Tmobile Note II SGH T889 with the ATT rom (I317UCALJ2_I317ATTALJ2_ATT.zip) while trying to go back to stock. Now in download mode my phone reads as if it's an ATT model, I'm not even sure how an ATT firmware flash passed on odin. Phone wont boot and I cannot access recovery mode as it just spits " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue." I cant upload a pic due to external links, but the phone says "Product Name: SGH-I317" when in download mode, or are as my phone reads "ODIN MODE".
I've tried flashing every version of the stock Tmobile roms via odin 3.12 and all of them fail at the very end. I don't know what to do anymore. Any insight into this is much appreciated, thank you!
Update: I managed to flash TWRP through odin, but flashing stock MD7 through custom recovery still lands me in a bootloop.
Was the phone purchased new or used? Do you recall see the T889 model # in download mode before flashing?
It was given to me used by a family member. It was in functioning condition but running very buggy so I wanted to flash stock and go from there. I do not recall seeing the SGH-T889 model # in download beforehand as I really wasn't expecting to make such a foolish mistake. The phone is unquestionably an SGH-T889 though, confirmed by the back cover and the IMEI sticker behind the battery.
The only way to really confirm that the phone is a T-Mobile note 2 would have been to boot int download mode. Since the att firmware flashed in Odin with no errors, I'm inclined to believe that the phone motherboard was actually from an att note. I have never seen Odin allow such cross flashing.
Maybe open the phone and examine the motherboard to confirm model number?
I could open the phone and search for the model number on the mobo, but why on earth would the back sticker read as an SGH-T889? This is a funky situation.
It could be a frankenphone. The motherboard from a t889 will fit in a i317 amd i317m and vice versa.
