repost : not register to network ( GT-N5100)

Hye all,
Need help on my GT-N5100, actually after upgraded to 4.4.2 my note has error, and now it saw not registered to network, i try flash back to original firmware, and yet still "not registered to network", i also try flash custom rom, and still this error occur, how do i fix it? i do all possible way, uh, really need help here, im from malaysia.

I never face this issue myself but did you set Access Point Names in Settings?

Check IMEI and hopefully you have a backup of it.

my imei was different from old imei ( found at the back of my note 8.0). how do i change it back to original imei?

Without efs / imei bachup I think not possible.

[Q] Can't install any recovery or i lose imei?? Help

i have tryed many times now to update my device from at&t sgh-i317 (4.1.2) to recent android (4.4.. minimum) whitout succes, i had always te null imei and worked 2 days to get it back whitout backup....
flashed twrc result now always in null imei, if i want it back, the only way is flash in odin the only working stock rom KIES_HOME_I317UCAMA4_I317ATTAMA4_578342_REV04_user_low_ship.tar
Strange thing was that i was on 4.4.2 branded as gt-n7100 and now it's at&t sgh-i317 (but i get back imei and baseband)?!?!
I have help many guys in the past but now i need help as i can't find a solution and really want to update!
can someone good help me step by step please?

If rom branding is showing n7100...you are flashing the wrong builds...
N7100 roms are not compatible with the SGH-I317...g

yes ive seen it and can't understand it, i was sure it was n7100 before? im also from belgium and by this in a belgian store wich is not at&t....so now you think is a do it again with the good files it wil work? is there any specific recovery then i need for my model? thx mate...

also can i flash it back to gt-n7100 please??? someone can try to find a solution with me?

If your device is N7100...then yes...you can use the stock N7100 rom to repair the device..
Regarding the recovery...you can use TWRP latest version for the N7100 device.
Files can be found in that section on xda...g

wait a minute, ive seen now that the imei is changed also,how is this possible??? that's why the brand as change to at&t.... from 7100!
i hope it's possible to get it back to stock with original imei? is someone able to help me out or te redirect me to someone that can help me out please? thx
just for info my imei as now /5 at the end?!

Finaly i get it updated and working on 4.4.2
the imei as changed again to another one but not matched with original....but it's working.
im stil on at&t but happy to have it on 4.4.2 working.
now if its possible to fix the imei or eventualy get it back branded as 7100...i take it?

i have installed dn4 2.4 rom finally to be quit of the at&t sh**
it is al working well so i leave it as it is for now.
the solution for me was reinstall stock rom (odin) , update stock rom to 4.4.2 (odin) then install recovery (odin), install new custom rom (twrp), new bootloader (odin) et voila!...gregsarg thx for help.
for a community as this i was thinking that more poeple should help....like we did in the past

No service on latest update fok3

I'm running latest ressurection ROM and have this service issues. Sometimes its emergency calls or no sim card. I just replaced the sim tray so it wasn't that. Anyone have an idea how to fix this. Service won't come back on till I reset the phone but only works for 5-15 mins

Does anything think this could be the 4g sensor issue?

Never had any issue here M919/MDL/OK3. Odin the whole ok3 firmware and try again. (Not using ok3 BL myself, still using the old 4.2.2 one, idk if that makes any difference)

I updated galaxy a500h to lollipop but after upgrade there is invalid imei error and no service error occurred. ...any kindly help me ....thnxx in advance

Well did you flash with odin or recovery? Stock or custom rom? Did you use the right kernel? Do you have a backup of your IMEI/EFS? Id try to find an official firmware and flash it with odin. Try one of these: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-A500H/ if you still have problems after flashing stock and dont have a EFS backup...start googling "restore imei galaxy a500h" or something along those lines....good luck and always have a backup of your imei/efs in the future.....also youll prolly get better help if you ask in that devices forum....here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/help

I think the problem was I didn't flash the modem after stock. I used the nonhls version which has given me all bars outside my home. Problem solved'

Plzz help me..I always root my phone.now I am in oxygen os4.5.bt I had a problem recently like I can't call from from jio(called ended)n if someone call it showed( not receable )..bt my network is working perfectly,even in browser it working?..plzz help me..before I didn't got that problem.. even i'm using these rom for many years bt i didn't got any problem.bt now I got these problem with ever rom..help me quickly

Most likely you lost volte
Try installing new baseband twrp or qpst one
Or
Install stock ROM via qpst then unlock your device take backup of efs in twrp keep it safe so that u can restore it again if volte is lost again

Can u plzz tell me the step how to do it?..

hi,
im using 920p
but after flash + root , my device imei issue n service issue, can anyone help me.
i try to patch imei cert without box with samsungtool but i got some error ,

Looks bad. Imei seems to be corrupt/lost.
If you have not made a backup of imei data before, you need some luck to get it repaired/restored again.
Best to search for imei repair and your device model, then check reliable hits.
There are some forums/threads and some YouTube videos.
