IMEI Changed.. Help

i upgrade my rom to v17 omega and my IMEI has been changed and i can't call and receive txt message help pls .. i dont have a efs backup
can someone help me step by step to return it to normal . thanks
My IMEI number has been changed to - 004999010640000
IMEISV - 01
but my baseband version is still showing and seriall number is still there
but when i try to call or text this message pop ups -- Not registered on network..
help pls

do u have a efs backup its a problem with the latest modem so just restore or else search here as there are numerous thread providing the solution just go through it

if not than search for Asansam Box ASANSAM Rev 2.0.7 in forum.gsmhosting.com to solve your prob
this version works ASANSAM Rev 2.0.7 for n7100 download the asansam manual for help but u need asansam dongle too whch need to be purchased which is around 3dollar or search for dealer and distributor in the same site mentioned as I can post link here

I am in the same boat as you. My note 2 says the same for the pass week I have tried everything. No one out there knows how to fix unless you have the efs backups. I am going to a shop near my place today for them to rewrite my imei info my phone again as that is the only option I can find to fix it.

I found my solution thank you all for your replies. what i did is i try different modem and it give back my IMEI after flashing it now i can call and text again :
I already learned my lesson from now on after i flash a rom i will now backup the efs x]]..
i deleted the efs last time thats why after i flash omega v17 i dont have my backup to return my IMEI..

[Q] Need help with GNote2 SGH-T889. NULL IMEI / No Service

To start off with, I'm a complete beginner on rooting/flashing and I didn't even cause the problem in the first place, but I may have a better understanding. So a friend was trying to downgrade his phone to 4.1.1 so it could be unlocked through the service menu. I'm not completely sure what files were used but it did downgrade to 4.1.1 but it now says no service and the IMEI says NULL. Please help!!
Also, it's not the "not registered to network" error I have seen mostly while i was trying to search.

Need help on my GT-N5100, actually after upgraded to 4.4.2 my note has error, and now it saw not registered to network, i try flash back to original firmware, and yet still "not registered to network", i also try flash custom rom, and still this error occur, how do i fix it? i do all possible way, uh, really need help here, im from malaysia.

I never face this issue myself but did you set Access Point Names in Settings?

Check IMEI and hopefully you have a backup of it.

my imei was different from old imei ( found at the back of my note 8.0). how do i change it back to original imei?

Without efs / imei bachup I think not possible.

This Is munna. I am successfully done rooting using "odin " software. After rooting my phone not getting network .I am checked my IMEI It showing "Null". Baseband version is unknown .
I am downloaded and installed z3x software..I am try to unlock my phone.It is showing "Reading data from phone Error "

You must change ur rom.... and you can go 4 CM 13....it's the best ROM that I've use till now. Another alternative is linage OS

I am new for this tutorial ..My phone network is not working after rooting with odin. Installed Super SU successfully.And my phone "IMEI" showing NULL/NULL. And baseband version showing "Unknown". Please guide me sir..
I try to repair my phone IMEI using using Z3X samsung tools software. it is showing "Reading data from phone error "....
Please give solution for this...

He told you to change your rom. Have you tried this? have you tried a deodexed version of the stock rom?

Installed Samsung i9082 Stock Rom , i got my IMEI Back.

broken IMEI

Hello guys. This is my first post and i need help
i installed original samsung note 2 n7100 rom and i cant call or get sms from anyone!
i searched on the internet and i fount my imei is broken.
its not same as in the back. i tried many method but no solution. also in my country changing imei is a big problem.
so is there anyway to fix this issue? because i dont want to pay a hundred box for it.
living with 500 box in a month and i cant pay that money.
[tried efs pro and got root error. also i got root access on my device]

Which ROM did you flash ? What's your current modem ?

Where did you get the phone?
Does the IMEI start with 0049?
