[Q] huawei p6 stuck on ascend logo

Hi, i have searched the forum before posting this.
my phone is stuck at the logo and i have tried pressing all possible key bindings (power + up, power + down, power + up + down) but still i can only see the log. I also tried to use adb fastboot but when i search for my device (adb devices) it says my phone is offline. And right now i can't even turn off my phone, so the battry is draining right now.
please help me as fast as possible as i dont think i can charge my phone

have you pressed the three buttons longer than 10seconds?
if not,try it..hold them until the screen changes (might take up to a full minute!!!!)..be patient..
to reach the bootloader (where adb can find your phone),hold power and vol. down until the huawei logo apears and stays (looks like it seems to be stuck)..then connect to the pc and wait for a few seconds..in adb cmd type "fastboot devices" (without "")..you should see many "?" and weird things in a line - thats ok! - your phone is recognized then..
from there you can start the adb cmds you want to (and can be found en masse here in this forum)..

i also tried fastboot devices and i found the ???????
Now what do i need to do to fix my phone?

Bro. i have the same problem with you. and sadly my phone too cant recognize the adb. i mean the adb cant detect my phone. so if your phone fix please tell me. hope that your phone can fix so that i will do the same thing. :good:

My phone is fixed now, first i was using windows 8 to solve my problem but there was something wrong with driver for the phone, so i tried using my friend PC windows 7 and the driver installed automatically.
Now you need to connect your phone to the PC and hold power + volume down together until the phone restarts and the Acsend logo appears, now you can relase the buttons.
After that you need to type "fastboot devices" in the command promote, you should see a message like this "????/??,,? <>??????".
if you get the message let me know, i will tell you what you need to do next

For the adb, i installed it long time ago and i dont remember from which website but you can search in this forum and find plenty of useful posts.
After I checked my device using this command 'fastboot devices', i downloaded boot.img and recovery.img for "Stock Firmware Huawei B506 CN KitKat" from this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51718316&postcount=2
and followed the steps.
after that i installed twrp by following the steps from this link: http://techbeasts.com/2014/04/29/in...3-7-or-twrp-2-7-recovery-on-huawei-ascend-p6/
then i used this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2739825
to install AOSP 4.4.4. but i think you can download other roms and follow the same steps

for custom roms yes..there you need twrp..
if you want to stay on stock roms you have always to reflash the respective recovery from the firmware (stock rom) you actually have running..

OMG! I FINALLY FIX MY PHONE BRO
FIRST I ESCAPE FLASHING BOOT.IMG AND TRY
TO FLASH A RECOVERY.IMG THEN ITS SUCCESS TO FLASH . THEN I HOLD THE POWER BUTTONG AND MY PHONE BOOTED THEN BOOOM! MY PHONE IS COMPLETE BOOTED ITS NOT STOCK ON LOGO AND IM HAPPY AS HELL! I can't boot into recovery (op logo displayed for about 10 seconds, then the screen became black)

Go to Oneplus website and download oxygen os version 3.2.4 OTA and flash that via adb sideload , also as a sidenote use your PC to boot into fastboot mode and try flashing the firmware that way if the first method doesn't work....

i can't flash via adb sideload because i have can't boot into recovery.
How can i flash into fastboot mode? what have i to tipe?

Plug phone into PC and type - adb reboot bootloader , this should enter fastboot mode then use the adb commands to flash the firmware which should be adb sideload oxygenos.zip just obviously rename the OTA zip file to oxygenos before running the command... Hope this helps buddy.

What were you doing actually? And is your bootloader unlocked?

appear this phrase "loading oxigenos.zip" and then an error:

Hi, if you hold down volume up and power button for at least 20 seconds and release, make sure you have downloaded universal adb drivers and op3 drivers also, when you have these run the tool, the tool I originally downloaded was corrupt, the unbrick tool must have the system.img, recovery img etc.... For it to work, you will know when it's connect as one line in the programme will change. I can send you the files needed if you send me your email address.

Are you running the command window from that folder where adb is? Push tab and right click mouse button or right on laptop to access run command option

yes, i'm running the command window from that folder where adb is,
but i've tiped
:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot update oxigenos.zip
archive does not contain 'android-info.txt'
error: update package 'oxigenos.zip' has no android-info.txt
because i can operate only in fastboot mode

Are you sure you are typing it right because you keep typing oxigenos instead of oxygenos ...

now i'm booting cm, hope it works all right!

Go to blusparks kernel thread from there download the latest recovery. Boot your phone into fastboot, then flash that recovery. Boot into recovery then flash whatever you wish!

I've installed this tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
then manually booted the phone into fastboot mode
in the directory of Minimal ADB and Fastboot i've put the twrp-3.0.2-22-oneplus3.img and renamed the file into twrp
then i've flashed the file with this command: fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
once booted into recovery i've paste the cyanogenmod rom file into the phone and installed by the classic way (WIPE cache, sys, data, davilk//INSTALL cm file// OPTIONAL INSTALL gapps, kernel, su)
restart the phone, done!

OTA Update Location

Hi,
I made this stupid mistake of forgetting to turn off the OTA auto update. Now that it's already downloaded, I'd like to know where this update file is at so that it doesn't get updated and mess with my root. I can't even restart without starting the update process. Please help.

If you want the update files dowload location they are in internal storage , folder name is started with hw.....( I forgotted i remembered it was like hwota)) In that folder it was stored.

Yes. The download location. So that I can delete it from ever being installed.

/data/update/HwOUC
Deleting the files inside did the job.

Hi guys,
i tried to update the new OTA B183 and as you know it didn't work since i have twrp already installed on it, i would like to know how i can restore the official recovery.img so i can update.
I already tried to extract the recovery.img and to put it in internal storage but i could not find it in twrp for encryption reasons (many folders with strange letters on it) and putting the recovery.img on external sd card and flashing it ended to an error...
What is the proper process to get the original recovery and to install it ?
Do i need to decrypt, format data and use a kernel fileencryption ?
I'm kind of lost because i don't know where to find the proper original recovery.img and the kernel fileencryption.
I know how to flash, fastboot, root, but for this process, i would appreciate a step by step
My honor 8 pro is a DUK L09, European version, running now with B130 update.

The recovery i extracted is 40 mo...

Factory reset from the phone ? It is what i did too, and the option is still disabled.

I'm getting the "Invalid sparse file format at header magic" Error, does that mean that the images are corrupt?
No! Just ignore the error, if you get the "Finished" message it means that the image has been flashed without any issues.
Can I cross-flash images?(CN -> IN & vice versa)
Some users have reported that the images can't be flashed due to different partition sizes, proceed at your own risk!

i thinks so....now all people just wait for new in-deep-test.apk to unlock bl.

How do I flash these:

fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
From a 7z file? I can't even decompress the 7z archive to see what's in it. 7z says its not a decomressable archive.

Indeed it does. I had to redownload the 7z file because seems it was corrupted presumably because of weak Internet connection. Now it works and I could successfully flash the files via adb. Now my phone works with stock rom. However as soon as I modify boot or recovery the system reacts to it and won't boot showing a message saying the boot/recovery was modified thus I should take my device to service. Anyway, the 7z file was a solution to my bootloader stuck problem.

Don't cross-flash roms until someone confirms that it is safe!

@anunimuus Yes. I can help. I flashed stock realme_q fastboot rom files via fastboot after extracting the 7z file. That's all.

i did flash to stock but after boots in few seconds turn off and on couple time until reboot itself

hello guys. I recently was given a xiaomi a2 lite , I had some problems with the phone in stock form, problems in ram,screen and overall bugs so I decided to change it. I changed it to costume rom and it was all good ttill I wanted to make a factory reset, it lost its system and now its stuck on recovery mode (twrp) I searched about this problem and tried everything. miflash, adb sidload, installing from recovery, and really nothing worked, I double checked on the bootlocker and it was unlocked , can someone send the solution to me step by step asap? it have been like that for two days and i really need my phone for my daily life, I don't have anther one......and im broke....
i forgot to say that miflash doesn't work and I says error flash_all_lock.bat

try to flash with miflash in EDL mode by typing command "fastboot oem edl" and make sure on the botom of miflash tool "clean all" is ticked. Also make sure the target of the rom is correct.

-my phone has stopped even booting to recovery after this and its notification light is blinking

Blinking led is normal you are in edl mode, open miflash click refresh and you'll see com..., that's your device ,select your flash file and choose clean all and lock ,or unlock, choose flash, it Will take about 10 min.

okay I just tried it and still, u can check the photos, and before it it was saying ^"cannot receive hello packet"
what should I do? one another think, can anybody please sent to me links to rom,miflash,platform combination that surely works? I tried a lot of stock fasboot roms and nothing works so it might be a problem with my miflash( with I also changed quit a few times) or rom …...this s my third day without phone pls help

pleae look at this, when I uncompress the file it comes like this, not in a file , check the pic here

If everything fall try to put fast boot rom on root of C drive. My is C:\daisy\daisy_global. Reed somewhere that Mi flash have a problem with long names
