Hi. I got CM 11 from TeamCanjica. Ive got some serious issue, because since last week this error started to show at abnormal rate. For example, when I finish my 5 minutes call, I need to close literally 10 "Google Services stopped working" errors. I didnt install anything nor update. It just started to show by itself. I tried googling the solution, but nothing works. I tried to remove Google Services updates, but for some reason it refuses to remove the update. Cleaning Cache also didnt help. Also, this Google Services started to drain my battery faster than anything else. I once even caught it draining battery more than screen. Anyone can help me?

But note this is only an temporary Fix. ROM update is needed or google has to change play services again.

Thanks.
Hello,
My HTC One M8 (T-mobile) has been acting up lately. The camera crashes randomly when I open the camera app. There is no error message, it just crashes and phones goes back to the home screen.
I have tried other camera apps too, same fate.
I think I have started noticing this after the latest android security update that was installed a week ago.
Anyone facing similar issues?
I have tried force stop, clear cache, clear data and even a factory reset. Nothing helped.
Update: both camera work fine with this app called OpenCamera, it does not crash like the HTC camera and Google camera app.
I first noticed this after the upgrade to Lollipop. Still happens occasionally, and is fixed for weeks at a time with a reboot.
Updating to the February patch on my Pixel XL. While downloading the APKs some apps in the Play Store they freeze at 100%. Stand still for about 30secs to a minute. Didnt get this last month. Anyone having the same thing happen?
Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on?
Have you tried clearing cache/data for Play Store app in Settings?
Yes I did. Peeps in Reddit stated that they do have the issue as well and think it's a Google services thing.
Doing the February update now, and my phone was running very slowly on the first step, seems to be better on the second step - but generally when I do updates, I just let the phone get on with it. I guess that's why there's a pause button, so you can update when you're not using the phone.
Any Pixel users still experiencing this issue? If so, can you please chime in on https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/77666592
Hey guys, i love my pixel 3 XL its been great but it has been randomly freezing and locking up, somtimes requiring a restart.
Other time i get the system UI crashed message and then i close it and it works again. Sometimes Chrome or the camera app locks up and crashes too.
Anybody experiencing this? Any ideas on a fix, maybe the next December OTA will fix it hopefully.
Thanks

I'm getting pretty fed up of factory resetting my phone, the phone started saying it's corrupt so I ended up reflashing it and that issue is now gone, but this freezing issue happens every now and then. You really think a factory reset is worth trying? Or could have something of gone wrong with the reflash?

I absolutely would try a factory reset if things are acting strange for no apparent reason.

If you flashed the factory image it's either a hardware or app issue. Have you tried using the phone for awhile with a minimum of apps? I'd give that a try I don't think a factory reset will do anything if you've already flashed the factory image.

try the flash-all.bat then when its complete go to stock recovery and format /data
are you using substratum?
Pixel 3 XL crashing
I have had the same problem. My system UI crashes since new, along with other apps and the phone becomes non-responsive. I thought it was just a new phone glitch that would be fixed with an update, no such luck... I need to do a hard reboot by holding the power button until it reboots. I bought a Pixel 2 XL in August and never had any problems like this. I finally contacted Google about the problems and they RMA'd it. I never root my phones before making sure they work correctly, so this one is and has been stock, unrooted.
My wife and I have the 64GB models in Black (mine), White (hers). She's on her 3rd replacement phone for what seems to be a similar issue.
Symptoms:
When using the fingerprint reader to unlock the phone, it may not unlock for 10+ tries.
The phone's battery drains quickly, within a couple hours of barely any use, her phone might be down to 60-70%
System_UI crashes
Some apps don't seem to load quickly (Like going into messages, you see the app container, and a new chat button, but no messages load for a minute). Or she's had a straight up black screen, and the app wouldn't load.
Takes minutes to call or hang up a call and often takes rebooting to close out the phone app.
It almost seems like something is running in the background that is utilizing the CPU and causing the lag/app/battery issues.
Troubleshooting:
Factory Reset
Wiping Dalvik Cache
Replacing the phone twice through Verizon. The first replacement had the same issues immediately. The 2nd phone showed the same issues immediately, and then went away for 3 weeks since the Dec. 5th Security update, but in the past few days has returned.
Booted in Safe Mode (everything seems to be working fine however extremely limited).
We've also checked the processes and no apps seem to be running that would make any sort of impact.
Running out of ideas

Since the December update, the freezing issues I was having have been significantly reduced, but it still freezes sometimes... I am hoping the January update coming in the next week will smooth out any remaining bugs.
Any of you using a different launcher?
I had this freezing and non-responsive issue. The google rep, replaced it, he determined it is some kind of hardware issue. My replacement didn't have this issue at all (November update). However, the lag/stuttering still persists though. I had replaced quiet a few pixel 3 XL, and i am just getting tired of it. For a $1K phone, we shouldn't get mediocre quality of phone.
So my wife had been removing applications in small groups to try to narrow it down. It seemed for a week or so that she was in the clear and everything was working. Then all of a sudden she got the January update and her phone is still having issues.
Slow responding finger print reader.
System UI crashes
Unable to answer phone calls despite numerous attempts.
It still seems like there is something that is running in the background that is just using the processing power.

Get gsam from the app store, if you don't have it. After awhile see what apps are using battery, app sucker in the app. Gsam is a battery monitor.

Sadly, gsam and accubattery don't show anything out of the norm app wise.
Very weird situation going on with my note 10+. Two weeks ago snap chat started crashing when ONLY opening a chat in snap chat. I do get it to work temporality by uninstalling and installing it back but the next day the same problem persists. I do have auto update disabled
Things that I have tried:
- Rolled back to 3 previous versions.
- Booted into safe mode to see if there are any rogue apps.
- Wiped Cache.
- Made sure I am not battery power saving mode.
Note Everything in snapchat is working correctly expect when I open chats any help would be appreciated
So after a weeks of trying to escalate the issue and solve it. Google play Services was acting up. I just don't see how there is any correlation between google services and snapchat crashing on chats
