Hi. I got CM 11 from TeamCanjica. Ive got some serious issue, because since last week this error started to show at abnormal rate. For example, when I finish my 5 minutes call, I need to close literally 10 "Google Services stopped working" errors. I didnt install anything nor update. It just started to show by itself. I tried googling the solution, but nothing works. I tried to remove Google Services updates, but for some reason it refuses to remove the update. Cleaning Cache also didnt help. Also, this Google Services started to drain my battery faster than anything else. I once even caught it draining battery more than screen. Anyone can help me?

But note this is only an temporary Fix. ROM update is needed or google has to change play services again.

"unfortunately, the process com.google.process.location has stopped"
Just popped up on a new CM11 nightly build.... Does this have anything to do with Gapps?
I've been using 1-11_GApps_Core_4.4.2_signed.zip which was working fine, yet I'm wondering if that's what's throwing this error??
Edit** Just discovered an update 1-16_GApps_Core_4.4.2_signed & It's fixed the problem!
I guess Google apps has to be updated fairly often!
If any developer could shed some light on this it would be appreciated...
before I was on 1-11 now 1-16 does that mean its good for up to 16 nightly releases or something?

I really have no idea. I mean some people have Google Play Services errors and some don't. I don't get them, but maybe somebody else can shine some light.
Hi..
It is a little bit old but i just got the same problem and i found out the solution..
Uninstall the updates of "Google Play Services" and re-install it again.. this will solve the problem..
The newest play services update has made my N5 crazy.
Constant force closes on play services and processes.location.
Yesterday play services kept my device awake all day and made it un-chargeable while plugged in wall charger. I mean it showed "charging" but was in fact diacharging whole time. Swapped couple of nokia and moto and samsung chargers but to no avail. Finally wiped everything and did a fresh install of mahdi rom which solved the charging issue but force closes have kept their vow of diaturbing my normal usage.

Recently, I guess after I installed bliss pop v3.2, the Google search, google plus, and the YouTube, can nolonger be updated. Every time when I try to update them, the process first goes into the diagnosing loop, and then my device freezes, and the last thing is the forced shutdown. I like to know if anyone else is having the same problem as I am?
So it's been 3 months since I bought this LG G3 D856. After a week of use, google play store and other apps (mostly associated with Google) werent giving notifications and werent loading. So I saw that if I factory reset my phone, it would be fixed. So i did it, and it did get fixed. But it didnt take long until it all started again. But i was living up to it. I thought LG might roll out the Android M update which would fix it all. But after seeing the news about it being delayed, im kinda pissed off. Now my games apps wont even load. They show the error of stopped working. So if anyone could help me out, it would be a hugeeee support. :/
Try to find an updated Google play services. Also you can hold the Power+Volume down rocker to get to your stock recovery and while your cache and dalvik.
I already got the latest play service. And the games app not responding issue, it got fixed after a restart. But the google play store thing is really bugging me. :/

It could be very well bug in Google Play Services, since it silently updates itself in background, so lot of time they suddenly start misbehaving eating up lot of battery and crashing here & there. Cross check your version with apkmirror

Already did. Got the correct version. Still no fix. :/
Hello there,
I'm encountering a strange error since this afternoon. I'm using this ROM as above (7.1.0) since it was released. No troubles at all, always worked without any issues.
Today, when the battery went empty, I charged my phone and booted it. It had some trouble with getting started, as the screen kept black (with backlight)
It's on now since then, but with this error: Google Play Services is stopped (from Dutch translation). It keeps coming every 2-3 seconds when I do something with the phone.
Now, I'm thinking about doing the 7.1.0 update again. Wipe it and rewrite it so it's a fresh install. Is that a good idea, or does somebody here has a better idea or tip?
Great thanks!

Updating to the February patch on my Pixel XL. While downloading the APKs some apps in the Play Store they freeze at 100%. Stand still for about 30secs to a minute. Didnt get this last month. Anyone having the same thing happen?
Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on?
Have you tried clearing cache/data for Play Store app in Settings?
Yes I did. Peeps in Reddit stated that they do have the issue as well and think it's a Google services thing.
Doing the February update now, and my phone was running very slowly on the first step, seems to be better on the second step - but generally when I do updates, I just let the phone get on with it. I guess that's why there's a pause button, so you can update when you're not using the phone.
Any Pixel users still experiencing this issue? If so, can you please chime in on https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/77666592
