Sorry for the delay. I installed twrp with twrp manager and flashify method and i did choose the right img file but it giving me the fastboot started evrery time
So I tried installing the elemental x kernel from the app, but after it had finished installing, I ran into a lot of issues. I can't take any pictures ('Low memory, adjust the quality or delete some files'), the file manager says that internal storage has 0.0 bytes available, and I can't download or take screenshots also, gallery says there aren't any pictures and the list goes on. I'm on oxygen os 3.5.3 and I haven't tried anything yet. How do I fix this, and is there any way I can keep my files? Thanks
Are you using the Xposed module called 'installeropt' if you have just uninstall and reboot...
Nope, never used that module, like I said the problem started after installing a kernel.

If I was you I'd just flash the ota firmware 3.2.4 for oxygen OS from OnePlus website that will restore everything to default so you can start again , the reason I asked about that Xposed module is because when I installed that my apps would not download data so I had to restore my firmware using the method I've just said , as a side note after flashing the original firmware in twrp if it says no OS installed are you sure you want to continue just click yes and then once booted up you are free to root and flash Xposed , I hope this solves your problem.....

Good news!
I decided to see what would happen if I booted into recovery and for some reason twrp did recognize the files. I still had the oos 3.5.3 file on there, but I figured it would give an error message when I'd flash it. But I gave it a try anyway and it worked! Everything is back the way it was and I have all of my files! Turns out I was in a lot less trouble than I thought i was. Thanks a lot for your advise![emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1]

Everything seemed fine until I tried to reboot the phone. It says "encryption unsuccessful ... " upon booting up.... How do I solve this ? helpppppp!!! Thank you in advance

Hello!
I have installed AICP ROM from official website for XIAOMI MI MIX 2. Everything has worked great so far and I have already installed several updates. Currently I have the version 13.1 WEEKLY 20180723 installed.
A few days ago came the version 20180730 and I have made an update. But then: Bootloop on the loadscreen. Phone restarts to recovery. I then restored the Nandroid backup and thought, I'm waiting for the next update.
Then today came the version 20180806. But again the same problem. I can not do an update anymore. What's happening?
My root tool is magisk.

Clean install?
I always did the update via AICP OTA. Since you can not adjust anything, just press download and install. Should I do the update manually with TWRP?

2. Latest Firmware (https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=3700668719832237722)
3. Full wipe, Format data from TWRP (Backup ur internal... )
I do not install my smartphone again ... TWRP is already installed. How else would I get AICP on it ... AICP OTA will also be installed via TWRP.
I think you do not understand me right. No matter I will solve the problem differently. Anyway, I will not reinstall again. Then install again at the next update ...? And again and again...? Haha ... That does not solve the problem.

Sorry i speak French
SAUVEGARDEZ TOUTE VOS DONNÉ AVANT DE COMMENCER!!
Télécharger la dernière version de AICP
Aller dans le mode recovery (TWRP)
Wipe system, data, cache et dalvik
Flash Aicp rom et magisk (si besoin)
Format Data (répondre yes)
Et redémarrer le téléphone.
Why should I do that? Just because an update does not work, the smartphone apart from that but runs perfectly... Then I stop doing updates. Or maybe the next update will work. If I reinstall, who says the problem is solved? The next update may be the problem again. Should I reinstall each version...? Friends, that's not a solution.
Hello!
Since this post, I have not made any updates. Now i installed an update via TWRP and the problem is still there... Is there no solution WITHOUT reinstalling the phone?
My niece was playing around with my Lenovo Vibe K5 and she wiped system partition in advanced settings under TWRP. No backup available, she wiped that too.
Obviously without an OS my phone wont boot, and goes into the Lenovo logo screen. TWRP is accessible through volume plus power buttons.
Tried QFIL but ports not detected even in recovery mode.
Options would be to flash stock ROM for A6020a40 through TWRP, but I cant seem to find a flashable zip file. Shrep's site has TWRP flashable files but without the scripts.
What options do I have? Can someone point me in the right direction?
Help would be much appreciated, and thanks in advance!
Mods, this is for a K5 not a K5 plus, but hoping that the process would be the same, hence posted here as well.

If TWRP is accessible, you can install any custom ROM you want, but I doubt you will find ever a flashable zip for stock ROM. You can still download the TWRP backup of S155 ROM though.

Hey adinechin,
Thanks so much! Can you point me towards any links??
I do have a TWRP backup which I have downloaded from Shrep's site, but it doesn't have the necessary updater scripts or a META.INF folder. Not sure whether I will be able to use that.
Just in case I need to flash a custom ROM for the Vibe K5, what would you advise? Need something stable and lightweight as a daily driver.
Solved! Thanks to all the seniors who decided to help....or not!

I've seen that you posted the same message elsewhere (that's against the forum rules for your information), and that @eurodiesel had a much more complete answer than me...pointing to my build of LineageOS 15.1

I recommend you to flash Lineage os or AOSP EXT
Cause both are stable (9.0)

Merci Adinechin!
Apologies for the late reply. Got caught up in something which left no scope for anything else.
I have gone by Eurodiesel's suggestion (@eurodiesel) and downloaded the build. Planning to install it over the weekend.
Thanks again! :good:
