[Q] Screen Random Freezes - After Replacing Screen

Alright, after much angst and struggle (got the wrong parts etc.) I finally was able to (successfully?) replace my Nexus 7 2013 screen. After charging it and excitingly using it after 2 weeks of it broken I noticed something peculiar. Every once and a while my screen freezes up, the touches are still there as I can here taps and audio, but the screen doesn't show anything new (just freezes). I simply lock & unlock my device and it returns to normal.
I just reset my tablet and it sadly still persists. I would prefer not to have this broken as we learned the hard way when not using a static band when replacing my dad's Nexus 5 screen (it's been a bad tech year for us).
Just a FYI and summary, Just replaced my Nexus 7's screen and digitizer assembly, not it randomly freezes the screen and a quick lock and unlock fixes it.
Any advice? Thank you.

Nexus 7 Black Screen Issue

I've had major issues with my Nexus 7 (2013) over the last few days and not too sure what to do.
As of Friday the screen won't turn on. It is not a flat battery. I am still receiving PushBullet sync notifications on my macbook and I can still hear the "Screenshot Captured" sound, as well as the unlock sound if I unlock my pattern (muscle memory of where the dots are). I have tried different power button combinations with no luck.
Is this a known bug? Has anyone else experienced this?
The tablet was bought on 5th December 2013 from an electronics retail store. I still have the receipts and Warranty Card from the box.
the tablet lives in a leather flip case and has a screen protector too. It has never been dropped on a hard surface.
Thanks in advance.
Try rebooting from adb.

LG G4 Display problem

I have been using my G4 for about a month without any problems. Today, each time I turn on the phone, the display hiccups for a few seconds and what I see is an incorrectly rendered version of the lock screen. I don't know the correct way to describe it, but it looks like tv's did in the old days when the vertical lock was incorrectly set (yes, I'm THAT old).
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Anyone have any thoughts?

Yes, mine has been glitching all day. I'm mailing it back tomorrow and going back to my LG Optimus G.
I used to see that on the Nexus 5 which casually is LG. However the hardware is so different between both that I just think it could be a common bug on the display driver. Just my imagination
I had the same issue with my G4 as well, except it was the left side of the screen. I just got back from replacing it with another G4 at a Sprint store... I hope it doesn't happen with this one. It started as a subtle error and progressively got worse and reared its ugly head even more during and after I charged the battery, until it was bad and made the phone almost unusable. Im guessing its a design issue with the screen and battery.

Screen shaking while holding finger on touch screen

Guys please help me I've just bought my nexus 5x and yesterday I was reading some thing and scrolling and while holding my finger during the scrolling the screen is shaking rapidly as if I'm doing fast up and down scrolling and this is occurring in all apps, lock screen, settings and everywhere.
Do a factory on it. See if that fixes

Is the charger connected?
Check out this video of my nexus 5x screen shaking, and observe the battery icon to see when the charger is connected.

Some of the provided LG sunlin charges have a fault where screen sensitivity gets worse while plugged in, maybe could be related?
But i tried other chargers but it still exists

It happens to me too, what can we do? software or hardware?

I also have this problem. Do you know a fix?

I had this problem with my old nexus 5. For the 5X which I am now using, the problem is much less that it is not noticeable normally, but the little shaking can be seen when using apps which trace the path of finger movement. Anyway it's not recommended to use the phone while charging, and there are some reports that people got electric shock doing this.

Nexus 5x screen replacement problem

After screen replacement of my nexus 5x it worked the first time. After a couple of minutes suddenly the screen at the bottem became very hot and the screen stopped working when trying to poweroff/on again.
Since then I'm not able to make it work again.
When trying to poweron it is a backlit black screen that becomes hot at the bottom ( where the headphone jack is sitting )
Could this be a connection problem or is the digitizer simply broke ?
Rgrds,
Bump.
After replacing my screen I got a "fizzle" noise and the regular beeping. Then turned backlit black and got very hot. I had no idea WTF was going on with it. So I put my cracked screen back on and everything is back to normal. But I would like to get that new screen on permanently.
Any tips on this would be helpful thanks in advance.
