(fix) lg tool bug fix

Since the last update tool LGTool should we not also use the tool to flash KDZ as usual anymore. So we have to do it this way. How to modify the host file
1. Click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories
2. Right click Notepad and select Run as administrator
3. Click Continue on the "Windows needs your permission" UAC window.
4. When Notepad opens Click File -> Open
5. In the filename field type C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
6. Click Open

I always get "Battery Level to Low" but my phone is even charged, dont know what i can do.
and when i use kdz_fw_upd i always get "extract file error"
Does someone knows what to do?
bricked my phone after updated my rooted e986 OTA. now i want to restore it back to stock.
Does the phone charge when it is in the cwm recovery?

I selected "cdma" at "select type" in the left corner of the R&D test tool window. Then the option CSE web upgrade test button appears, Clicked on this and no low battery warning this time. Phone is back to live (F240S)! Flashed the v20c 4.4.2 file for F240S.

Can't flash KDZ

Hi!
Hope someone could help me.
I'm trying to install a stock rom V10b_00 from argentina. I try with LG pc suite hack (LG PC SUITE says that couldn't recognize the celphone), with the Automatic KDZ Updater (when i hit the upgrade start program the windows with country and language don't show up, instead the lg mobile support initiate and after a minute it crashes), with the manual mode installing shttps and changing the hosts file (same that the LG hack), i try with KDZ_FW_UPD (KDZ too big) and nothing. Each one of the methos give a different error. The only one who works is with KDZ_FW_UPD but only installing files lower than 1gb wich are the brazilian and one european that is useless cause has a different modem of my country. I actually have installed the brazilian LGE97710A, but it has all the Sh!t of the company "CLARO" and i don't want it.
Please help i don't know what else to do.
All drivers installed, running Windows 7 ultimate x64

I think that you don't follow the instructions and miss to run some points of tutorial.

By the way, if you flashed KDZ lower than 1 GB, yo can connect your E987 using LG PC Suite or LG Mobile Tool and search for updates, LG Mobile Tool (please delete, rename or edit your hack hosts file), this tool start to download and install your operator's firmware.
Other solution is obtain your modem files (for E987) and replace the modem files of your installation (E977 or E975), but you need extract this files from other E987.
In my E976 (Movistar Peru) this files are:
/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/modem
/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/modemst1
/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/modemst2
all rwx rwx rwx

hello, if there is no juice, you can try to do as I did to my D855, I think it is the same, you will need to open your device and make a trick to go to downlaod mode.
IT is very esay that I put my LG G3 in download mode in 3minutes.

But, in step 8, I suggest you to not flash all stuff, because I think It is not necessary, I am pretty sure this was my cause to have the message : "Can't find matched cust for NT-code mcc/mnc"
I hard bricked my phone a second time, but instead of doing step 8 like he says. I just Made SDRAM test also and start. it will flash necessary stuff and reboot phone automatically.
To make a summary of what you need to do:
-- first put your windows in test mode if you have windows 64bits and install drivers
1-put your phone in download mode (screen off and without battery-sort of emergency download mode)
2-run boarddiag by willcracker and extract your Bin file in a folder.
3-choose port and choose folder

i understand it but i don't know if when i will click the start
btw i did not do anything yet,something is not right in my phone

first, just skip steps 8 and 9 and replace it with:
it is a little bit mixed up but this is what he wanted to say:

7- Check "AP" and "EMMC" and press start
here you finished with the link.

Hi all. I'm writing because I didn't find anything useful to me.
My LG is stuck on Firmware Update screen:

All began when I wanted to re-lock the bootloader. So, I read somewhere that I could do it with fastboot oem lock. I did it and the result was that the bootloader was re-locked. So I rebooted my phone and it stuck at

When I turn on the phone there isn't anymore "Your device is corrupt, etc.", directly to download mode. I tried to enter to download mode and recovery mode (but stock can only reset), so if someone knows others hardware button combinations to get other modes, please tell me.
I hope someone can help me, obviously not service.

I have exacly the same problem and i am looking for solution and when i use LGUP with stock rom it loads like 24# the got error 0x0200...
So i can't get stock rom and i get get in the bootloader TWRP...

- go to https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73493577&postcount=78 and download attached file. It contains two DLL that you'll put in C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\8994 (deleting other DLL file). Don't worry if they are two DLLs and not one. Then, when you open LGUP you must flash (UPGRADE mode) H81520p firmware (that you can download here: http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G4/H815/). Then wait and your phone should revive, like mine. I hope it'll work for you as worked for me.
Obvioulsy you must have H815 version (not variant) to do this.

Same procedure but not same file: in the solution I linked and I used there are two DLLs (and I can see the difference on LGUP, that says "DLL version 0.4.0.0"); instead, in your solution (that I tried before using the one I linked), there's only a DLL and, if I'm not wrong, its version is 0.3.3.23 or something similar. Anyway, it's not a problem, I said it without any aim.

thank you .replacing zip file change lgup DLL to 0.0.4.0 and it will not show error again.

[Q&A] ASUS Fonepad 7 K00E ME372CG - looking for correct files for xFSTK

Please, where can I find ME372CG files for xFSTK?
I want to restore bootloader of my ME372CG tablet.
I follow these instructions, which are for FE170CG:

But I did not find ME372CG files for xFSTK.
So I took them from official Asus ME372CG firmware (from UL-K00E-WW-7.6.0.0-user.zip).
I found different file names in ifwi folder and I am not sure, which to use fo xFSTK:
dnx_fwr_ctp_???.bin
ifwi_ctp_???.bin
CLVP_CSAB_FWR_DnX_20.29.bin
ME372CG_32_IFWI_v54.57_CSAB_PROD.bin
I could not find any Softfuse file either.
Most probably I do not have the correct files, because xFSTK download does not work.

Cause of malfunction:
My tablet reported some kind of UI error, so I restarted it (still within Android),
but it never started again. It just vibrates when switching on, always black screen (only almost unnoticeable flash of light on LCD, during switching on). The battery is full - I measured it.

Use this file, run as Administrator ME372CG Debrick.bat and connect your device.

2. Extract with 7-zip on your Desktop
3. Open extracted CSC_ME372CG_Debrick file ---> Right click on ME372CG Debrick.bat left click on Run as Administrator. And it should look like this:

If that doesn't show up install this minimal adb and fastboot command

4. If the tool doesn't recognise your device press VOL + or VOl - and connect your device with pc while you are holding one of volume buttons.....

After I informed Teddy that it does not work for me,
he suggested this:
See this tutorial for another device to get the point, reinstall drivers and try again debrick files. Softfuse file I can't find for your device but with debrick.bat is trick for seconds I thing to get recognized to start flashing partition and firmware....

I tried that but it didn't work. Actually it's because we lost fastboot and droidboot.
About those xFSTK files, we can acquire them from rom (zip/raw). there is a zip file called "ifwi.zip" in the rom package.
I follow this tutorial to debrick it but I didn't make it:crying:
