Overnight, all my widgets disappeared from my home screens (HTC weather clock, Play Music etc). They're no longer available through a long press of the home screen. All that appears in the widgets tab is a 4x2 folder called HTC sense.
I restarted, I wiped the cache, still no widgets. This happened twice before and I had to do a full factory reset to fix it. Now that I have my SD card set to internal storage this is very inconvenient. Has this happened to you and could you fix it?

Whenever i go to the page where my weather widget is on, i see udpating, and then my Sense crashes, the message with force close on it, i wiped, reinstalled but nothing works, any ideas? Im on 2.8.
Fixed it: go to applications, reset everything that has to do with weather, force close, clear cache, every button you can click, then go to the widget , it will say to tap it, add location and let it reload and it will work. but every reboot you have to do the same thing, so is there a way i dont have to redo this every time?
I get my home screens all set up and when I end up rebooting the phone, all my apps that are moved to SD do not show any icon on the home pages. Any help is appreciated.
So I have 2 problems.
1. Can't add Music Widget on the home screen, it says it's been already added but it isn't in any of the screens. So basically I can't add it anymore, restarted the phone but nothing.
2. I unistalled Fun&Downloads, but it seems the process and the widgets are still there. I always get the error "The process Fun&Downloads had an error and can't open" or something like that.
For the Music Widget I had this problem, clear the data from the applications menu for Sony Ericsson Home (this will remove all widgets and links). But you will be able to put them back afterwards!
My forced to use at a glance widget isnt working correctly. Weather and events (half an hour upcoming) are showing.
But when there are no events and its just a date it doesnt link to the agenda with a touch, it does nothing.
It should link to the agenda/calander right? Any ideas why it doesnt work. I did reset the google app and tried full share/privacy settings.
seems there's a lot of problem on the A2 Lite "At a glance" app...
In mine it doesn't show any events, sometimes looses the wheater (I have to open the Google wheater directly and then if appears again on the "At the glance") and if I hold down it on my homescreen and choose "preferences" nothing happens... same in the settings menu
Same problem
The problem:
I will hit the power button to sleep the device. I have fingerptint/pin set as my lockscreen. My lockscreen wallpaper and home wallpaper are different, so the issue is easy to see. I sleep the device, then anywhere from 1-30 seconds later I hit the button again to wake it. Instead of showing the fingerprint scanner and my lockscreen wallpaper, it shows my home wallpaper, with the small gesture bar at the bottom. There are two ways to get past this, swipe down from the top for the quick tiles and then swipe them back up and the lockscreen wallpeper and fingerprint scanner shows. Or I can hit power to sleep and then power to wake again and my lockscreen is there.
I thought the issue was with the kernel at first because I hadn't noticed it outside of installing it. After flashing to stock kernel I noticed it happening again. It happens once every 5-10 wakes. It's not super annoying, but still annoying.
I have tried backing up and restoring everything from Google One, then rooting, then with and without a custom kernel, still the same issue.
I have also tried backing up and restoring all my data through SwiftBackup. For apps I backup all user app data parts: APKs, Data, Ext. data, Expansion, and Media. (Not sure if I even need to but certain games etc I don't want to lose data). After I restore I use the same Magisk 24000 to patch and flash the boot.img.
No matter what I've tried, the issue still seems to persist. If it helps, I am on Android SP2A.220405.004
If anyone might know what is causing this or how I can fix it, that would be great. Thanks!
