Weather widget -> updating -> force close - Hero, G2 Touch Android Development

Whenever i go to the page where my weather widget is on, i see udpating, and then my Sense crashes, the message with force close on it, i wiped, reinstalled but nothing works, any ideas? Im on 2.8.

Fixed it: go to applications, reset everything that has to do with weather, force close, clear cache, every button you can click, then go to the widget , it will say to tap it, add location and let it reload and it will work. but every reboot you have to do the same thing, so is there a way i dont have to redo this every time?

[Q] Stock Gallery not launching, cannot be found in app drawer!

So the gallery app has gone missing and it wont open when I go to camera and press the shortcut in the bottom left. I also can't find it in the app drawer. I looked in the disable apps but its not their. I have some Samsung bloat frozen but I unfroze everything and it still does not show up.
I tried freezing the gallery app in titanium-backup, and then it showed up in disabled apps, so I enabled it, but it can't be found in the app drawer either. I'm sure its not there, I checked every folder and page twice. The only places it shows up in are the app manager and TiBu. I can only clear data and cache but that does help.
When I try opening gallery through camera, nothing happens, not even a force close message. I get by with quickpic but quickpic crashes when i try to open sms images sent by text so I need to get gallery working.

[Q/HELP]

Hi all, installed both recent att updates. Now when I use action memo and then minimize it, it vanishes. Then action memo no longer works from air command. If I reboot, happens all over again. If I clear app data, same thing. Also, I I've done a factory reset after each update. Any ideas?
Ok, solved it. I turned animations and transitions off and that seemed to break the app. I turned on them back on to 1x, restarted phone and boom! Action memo works again.

HTC ONE M8 bluetooth wont turn on (Android 6.0)

Hi,
recently I started to use bluetooth because I bought a smart watch which requires bluetooth for smart notifications, ... Its been working great, until one day. Every time I didnt use smartwatch, I turned bluetooth off. And one day I tapped the icon to turn it on, and the bluetooth icon stayed pressed for a 5-6 seconds and then it went back white which means, it did not turn on. I tried everything, reboot, safe mod, recovery mode, force stop, ... Nothing worked. Then I did factory reset, which changed everything and bluetooth started to work again, but not for very long. After 2 days, exactly same thing happend and I have no idea what to do. Im pretty sure its a software problem, but no idea how to solve it. Please any ideas??
Thanks a lot.

Found this on another forum... I had the same problem and it got solved by following this.
What you need to do is clear the Bluetooth Share app cache and data, then perform a Network Settings Reset. I'd recommend doing it in that specific order.
First, open App Manager from Settings menu. Then use the three vertical dots on the top right to open the options. Select "Show System". Scroll to the Bluetooth Share app, and open up it's settings. Tap Storage. Tap Clear Cache, wait a moment, the cache will clear to 12.00KB. Now tap Clear Data.
Next, open the main Android settings again. Go to Backup & Reset, then Network Settings Reset. Tap Reset Settings and enter pin, if prompted. Tap Reset Settings one more time.
After that completes, which should be fairly instantly, try to turn on your Bluetooth. It should turn on! Yahoo! Let me know if this works for you!

app data from notifications (fastest way to force close app??)

say 2 things, new to oreo and s9, last phone was an s7. anyways, if i had a program running in the notifications, say for my motorcycle gps, tomtom, i was able to long press the notification, then go to app data and force stop. not seeing that anymore.
Trying to find the fastest way to force stop an app running, that has a notification. for example this one says connect device. I am not trying to hide the notification, but force close it when i don't want it running. for example this app gives me live traffic, sometimes i want it, sometimes i don't.
hope this makes sense, and thanks.
anyone have any ideas here, to force stop an app.
thanks
I'd make use of the built in Device Maintenance. If you enter this menu and click the 3-dot menu on the top right, you can add a shortcut to your Apps List. You can then place this wherever you want on your homescreen. You'll be able to quickly enter the Maintenance sub-menu and then put whatever you aren't using to Sleep, immediately.
There may be a way to add an icon to your lock menu to jump right to it (using a 3rd party shortcut app,) but I haven't swam that far in the sea yet.
recents, long press the app icon on the left, wait for the i info letter to appear on the right, press i, force stop.
this was posted elsewhere. seems like the ticket !!
