I am trying to choose/make custom ringtone but have found that music gets mixed in with the 'local tone' option in sound.
How do I stop music showing up here?

Hi everyone,
I've noticed when I listen to my music (using HTC Music player), the music got paused when a notification sound comes up and when the notification sound is done, the music resumes.
I love those notification sounds, but if I get a notification like every minute, my music keeps pausing for a few seconds and resume back.
It gets annoying :-s
Is there a workaround or a fix for this?
I hope someone can help me
I dont know if its the same on sense as i am using cm7, but there is an option to always play notifications over a certain speaker etc.
Alternatively, you could use Tasker or something similar to disable notifications when music is playing
Greetings Guys; I would like that you help me about to put a MP3 music as Ring tone on my HTC Tilt 8925, I tried to put the Music (copied the musics from memory card and pasted on Ring Folder) ( File Explorer> windows> Rings) but when I go in Settings> Sounds & Notifications I don't get to see the music that got there to be my Ring Tone. Someone could to help me about this question??

I have a problem with a message tone while listening music. In untouched stock ROM, when you listening through any media player, i can here the message tone in my headphone. I start using modified stock ROM, I experience while listening to music, when I receive a message, I hear the music in the speaker for a couple of second and then back the music sound in my headphone. So I need to switch to vibrate mode so that even if I receive a message, it will not switch to my speaker while playing music. I try any custom ROM here and same result. Its very annoying because I'm always commuting.
Anyone experience the same problem? How do I fix this? Please help.

Hello.. yes, they are.. in previous versions of roms, you can hear notifications from your headphone.
But lately every new ROM makes notification to be played at phone speaker.
It's not a prob.. it's Google's decision I believe.

I found a ringtone in WhatsApp called trumpet. I tried using it for my G3's default call ringtone but it's nowhere to be found. I provided a screenshot showing the ringtone. And also, I tried looking into the WhatsApp folder on my internal memory, but I couldn't find it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
As the title says, it doesn't work. All I get when I try to select a sound file is it tells me that "Preview sound could not be played". I get this for ringtones and mp3s selected as "music" for the alarm. My phone calls DO ring though and mp3s play in the music player, it's just that my alarm doesn't play anything. I tried others alarm apps as well and it's the same issue...I would love to poke around the root directory to see what's going on with the ringtone files but it doesn't appear that this device is rootable yet. Any ideas on the issue or has anyone else had this problem?
