Hi everyone,
I've noticed when I listen to my music (using HTC Music player), the music got paused when a notification sound comes up and when the notification sound is done, the music resumes.
I love those notification sounds, but if I get a notification like every minute, my music keeps pausing for a few seconds and resume back.
It gets annoying :-s
Is there a workaround or a fix for this?
I hope someone can help me
I dont know if its the same on sense as i am using cm7, but there is an option to always play notifications over a certain speaker etc.
Alternatively, you could use Tasker or something similar to disable notifications when music is playing

Hey everyone, quick question. I recently starting using Pandora and notice that when Im listening to Pandora and get a text message or email, the music pauses for a few seconds to let the notification sound. Is there a way to not let this happen? Thanks
Pandora has always been like that. As are most apps, they lower the volume to allow the notification tone go through and than jump back to full volume. I don't think there's a way to change that. Just be glad your Pandora doesn't auto change songs every 45s after a 'taste' of every song because the update has an issue with a rom.
just turn down notifications sounds to vibrate or silent, no interruptions
I'm running CM10 on a HTC One X and I'm wondering if there is any workaround to the android notifications annoyance. When music is playing, the notification will not play over the top of the music, nor dim the volume, but it will mute the music until the notification is over. This means that you miss parts of a song or a podcast if you get a message.
I know certain apps can bypass this. For instance, Whatsapp notifications play over the top of music without interrupting it. Is there any global workaround?
the only way i found is by putting profile to vibrate or silent during music...
When playing Music on Apollo it will play the notification sound but only lower the music volume to 50% and I can't hear my notifications and most annoyingly, my GPS. Is there a way to set it so the music pauses or goes to 0% when I'm receiving notifications?
Hey,
I'm a new HTC user so forgive me if this question sounds amateurish.
I come from Samsung and used to use the stock music player. When music was playing and notiification is received, the music is paused and starts playing again when the notification ends.
This doesnt seem the case when using the music player of HTC One M9. When a notification arrives, the music isnt paused at all and it simply plays the sound. Is this normal behaviour? I would expect to at least have the volume of the music lowered when a notification arrives.
Every AOSP/CM rom i try has this problem where when i'm playing music on my wired headphones and a notification happens or i like something on Facebook, it completely interrupts my music and makes some sound come out of the speaker. Everyone around me can hear it when this happens and the only solution i can find is turning notifications off or turning down the notification volume, where as in a stock based rom it only lowers the media volume and plays notification and doesn't interrupt can someone help me replicate this in AOSP/CM roms?
so no one?
