Good afternoon, I wonder if there is any solution to my situation. Last Thursday I bought an Mi 5s from a vendor in OLX running normal and at the time an update appeared available I downloaded it and the device rebooted. After that, he asked for the password of an IM account linked to the device ... since I did not know that Xiaomi branded devices had this lock, later I tried to talk to the seller and he got involved ... so I did Wipe Data to see if This blocking left ... but did not leave, as the picture below. Now the seller no longer responds, he wanted to know if there would be any solution to this unfortunate situation. The screen shows: Sign in to your My Account Logo below: Enter Password Below: This device is associated with existing My Account ID (166xxxx398) And Activate Account Grateful

Seller tricked you and sold phone with Mi account on it. Now you can't unlock it. You can only try to find seller ( OLX is a internet store? If yes, I think that you should go to support of this store ) and ask for password.

Return the phone. Open a dispute for having your money back.
Whatever.
I also had same problem , i tried calling ATnT and they connected me to LG , LG said they have not even heard about it and as my phone is out of warranty (15 months), they cannot do anything about it.
Finally i showed this phone to a local cellphone repair shop in India, and they found it was a problem with numerous pattern incorrect entries , called as pattern lock and it can be undone by software unlock. Just few bucks.
Did you use the .tot restore method? As long as you can get into the boot loader you should be able to do a complete flash. Check out the guide here
Either way, it sounds like the seller of the phone may have gotten ransomware, or just knowingly sold an encrypted phone. The seller shafted you and you should leave negative feedback and also do what joooe said, and open a dispute immediately.
If you flash ROM LineageOS 14 on your device, doesn't exist this problem.
I had this problem
I used latest rom for my phone region (UAE) and flashed (refourbished) by UPPERCUT_1.0.0.0
and my problem solved.
Hey guys. Following. Yesterday I tried to finally unlock the bootloader on my h815 and I was really excited and given it is the EU Model I actually expected it to work just fine. But it didn't. And now I am more than confused. The error I get using the LG Website is "Device ID is unmatched. Please check your Device ID. Your account will be locked if you enter the wrong Device ID more than x time(s)." I checked the Device ID a thousand times. Wrote it by hand and copied n pasted it from the console - no difference. Checked the IMEI too. But the one under the battery matches the one on the box matches the one I get with the IMEI Code you type into the dialer. Also checked the country code but well it is CZE which should be just fine. Any suggestions/solutions to my problem?
Cheers,
a very confused and annoyed Lisa

In that case you should e-mail LG and ask them directly so that you won't screw anything up. Since everything is alright I have no idea what's the problem and your best bet is with them

Alright thanks
Hello,
I have this S9 which is SM-G960F 64GB and i tried to reset it but i dont know my password to my old gmail account or the phone number anymore. I tried to flash it with some tools from youtube and i'd get a "SV. REV" check fail (bootloader) device: 2, binary: 1 " I managed to get one from sammobiles and that went through perfectly but asked me to login but dont know the info to login.
What else could i do? G960FOTF2BRGA is what it says in recovery menu.
Thanks
I doubt anyone on this forum will give you much information. The S9 is a relatively new phone, but you say that you don't know the password to your old gmail account. Folks may assume that the gmail address that was used to set up your S9 was not your old gmail account address and it is very unlikely that anyone here will help you bypass FRP.

Hello,
I see that just a week or so ago, you were posting in the Honor 9 section. Since you don't mention how you acquired the S9, you'll have to realize how this whole situation looks a bit odd. I'm afraid I'm going to have to close your thread because it seems like you may have acquired this device unlawfully. We can't be breaking any laws here so you will not receive any help. I suggest you return this device to the rightful owner and go back to your Honor 9.
Thread closed.
Hi
I have mi6 phone with locked bootloader imei numbers are gone wifi not working etc
I tried manula verification but rejected every time because I don't have passport.
there are places to repair. but expensive I found a service s-unlock but I can't trust it and when I asked, they said they had service accounts.
If anyone have mi unlock service account please help me or s-unlock account for imei check.
sorry my bad english.
I am trying to unlock the bootloader on my unlocked T-Mobile N100. When I went to the OnePlus website to enter my info (serial #, imei, unlock code), it keeps telling me to provide a valid imei. I bought the phone of a guy on offer up app and it works fine with my AT&T sim, but it keeps giving me that message. I've tried contacting OnePlus but they said they needed an invoice to further investigate the issue which all I have are the screenshots of the original post and the conversation we had about meeting up (which I submitted to them). Has anyone else had this issue? I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure it out.
The OP8T also had this bug with the unlock website for the first few month of the phone release. Try contacting OP and see if they are aware of the bug.
Hi, friend, can u tell me how did u unlock this phone? Is there any free ways?
