Hello folks had this phone for a month now but 2 weeks ago the phone just locked up black screen had to reset using power button and vol - but since it came back on sdcard is gone not showing up tried it in pc and old phone z3c, has anyone had similar locking/frozen issues??

IS there anybody who can guide me on my HTC Dz for following issue.
I am facing this problem from 2 days back.
My phone is HTC desire z singapore based model running on 2.2.1 update.
Never rooted ,working on stock rom. Using since last december 2010.
I love it .
But fom past few days its touchscreen sceen hanging after wake up each time.
even touch screen buttons i.e. home , back menu , etc. wont work in that situation.
Each time I have to press power butto to wake him up and slide unlock slider.
But whatever that time I was running on screen that keep running, i just cant interact with it.
When ever I connect USB cable for any purpose , it even not respond to any touch, just keep charging.
Before this issue I was only browsing inbuild You Tube app on phone and nothing download from outside app market.
To solve by my side , I try with Complete power off and start up, remove battery and card for few second and also with factory reset. But still there is problem.
I am waiting for update from htc for 2.3 so may be it can solve issue..if this is related with ROM.
Can anyone give me suggestion on this ?

I already try with factory reset + battery removal for few second + sd card removal + sim card removal + restarts and power offs for many times

My HTC One X is about 12 months old and in very good condition. I have never had a problem with it until around 1 month ago when it started randomly giving me a black screen.
When the phone goes into a sleep mode and I pressed the power button to display the screen nothing happened. Sometimes the lights at the bottom would show but nothing on screen and if I pressed the volume buttons on the side I could hear it fine.
I tried reformatting the phone but that never worked so I sent it to HTC for repair. They sent it back saying they had replaced the screen etc but after a few days the problem has returned. I have sent it back to them again and have been told they are sending it back with "no failure, no repair" as they never seen a problem.
I know I am going to get the phone back with the same issue so I was wondering if anyone else knew how to fix this problem?
I don't think it will be connected but it seemed to have started from when I done the latest htc update (not the 7th March 2013 one).

i've bought the desire 816 2 months ago and i started using CM11 the unofficial 4.4.4 version two weeks ago
and from one week i started using mount2ext and moved everything but system apps , libraries and dalvic to the the sd card
everything was fine till this morning the alarm ranged ( i left the phone in the electricity the day before ) so i stopped it removed the phone from charging and went out for an hour while the phone is home . when i'm home the phone is dead. i can't power the device i tried the power bottom , power + vol up + vol down , power + vol down and nothing happened ! the screen won't even open. also i tried charging it and even the light of charging didn't light. the only place when the i knew it's somehow alive is when i connected the phone to pc and try to power it the pc says unknown device and also nothing happens.
any ideas ?
I had the same problem a month ago, i pressed power + volum up for 15 seconds and the device rebooted normaly to cm11

nothing happened :/ , i tried vol up and after that vol down and thing as well :/

The same thing happened to me when I was on cm11 just hold the volume up n power button.... For me too it felt like pressing the buttons didn't help but it did when I kept trying.... Try to press them at the exact same time
I have faced this alot of times when on cm so jst keep trying.. Hope I helped you

Hi Guys just new to the board this evening as my 6 month old HTC m8 has shut down at 4% battery and wont switch back on. The phone has ran perfectly up until this evening. Ive tried 3 different chargers and none work but work on my wifes phone. Ive tried the reset button (volume up & down plus power button at the same time for 3mins) but this has failed also. Just wondering if anyone had suffered the same problems? Thanks in advance. Mark

Do you get a flashing red light when the charger is connected?

What happens if you leave it on the charger for 1 hour+? Still nothing?
Hi all,
I have a 2 year old Xperia ZQ/ZL C6503, not under warranty anymore and a couple of months ago it started to randomly shut off.
Sometimes without using it, most of the times when I'm using the phone.
Some points to consider:
1. I'm using the Lollipop 10.6.A.0.454 NCB stock (flashed thru Flashtools)
2. I have replaced the battery for a new one 6 months ago
3. I have wiped everything before flashing the ROM (clean flash)
And the problem remains.
Sometimes it runs for days without the problem.... and then, it happens again.
Most of the times when it shuts down, it takes 10 to 20 minutes with "no life" at all... pressing the power button and no response.
After 10 to 20 minutes, it responds and turns on again.
I searched everywhere but did not find any firm conclusion or solution.
I don't want to order a new battery as I'm not sure if this will solve the matter.
Anyone with the same issue or anyone could help me with it?

Actually i am facing same kind of problem.When i try to call someone my network goes blank(no service is shown) & mcomes back after 2 minutes. Then i try to call back again my phone turns off itself.& when i press power button it turns on.I am afraid this is going same as like yours unlike i am able to power it on.
