Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 - No Fastboot - Nextbit Robin

Is there a fix for getting my Robin out of QDLoader mode? I have resolved it in the past by waiting it out or doing Vol Dn and Power. This time however, wont come out of this mode.
I was paring a bluetooth cable tester (pocketethernet) to the phone when the screen blanked out. I plugged it in to see if I could Fastboot, but there it was, the QDLoader COM port in my device manager.
Thanks for any help with this!

Vol Dn + Power for ****AT LEAST 60 SECONDS****
As the title says. I have no idea why all the guides missed this 'one neat trick to fix your brick!'.

Lifesaver.
Is it weird that we've had the bug at pretty much the same time?
Sorry if I come off as naive. I am.

This needs more upvotes so people can see this. Saved my Nextbit from RMA.

Or ask a moderator to make it a sticky because I agree.

I second this.

Didn't works

My nextbit robin just turned on today, when I plug to my laptop, my phone shows that the battery is very low?
But I don't even know, where is the problem is located? Is the problem on the battery? Or on the circuit board itself?
Sorry, bad English

Any link on how to flash using qdloader for nextbit ? i have a hard brick robin !! struck now.. pls help
TIA

I see these forums littered with the same issues and no one's bothered to see if it's in QHSUSB_Bulk (Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008) mode. Mine just started to do this when I shut it down. Now I cant get it back by holding Power and Vol down, it just reboots it. It was at 85% battery when I shut it down and n ow I can get it to come back on. Black screen, PC reports Qualcomm Download mode. No Fastboot or recovery
Is there an image one can use to fix this? and how would once flash it over the QSHSUSB mode?

[SOLVED] Hard-bricked Nexus 7 2013

Hi, I have tried to root new Nexus 7, but seems bricked it.
Now I can't turn it on. I see "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM 15)" in the devices list when tablet connected to the PC.
My steps to brick:
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Flash TWRP
3. Boot to the bootloader using "adb reboot bootloader"
4. Select "Recovery Mode"
After this step I had android logo with red triangle. I have tried to exit this mode and pressed Up + Power for few seconds.
That's all.
Are there ant ways to resolve this issue?
I'm not in the USA and not sure that our service centers can help me in the nearest future. No warranty, tablet was bought from the private person, not in the shop.
I'm programmer and know what is soldering, so any solutions are acceptable.

I think with past devices when you get the qualcomm loader device it means either the bootloader is corrupted or the raw partitions are corrupted.
You can probably recover, but it would take some effort to figure out specifics.
I think I remember you can use qpst to do some diagnosis.
Maybe try flashing the factory images

I can't. My bootloader is broken, I need to restore it first.
Will try to play with QPST.
Okay. One step at a time. Use Vol Down + Power to attempt to get to bootloader. What happens?

Tablet not connected to the PC - nothing, screen is black.
Tablet connected to the PC - nothing, screen is black, no changes in the device manager.
I have tried both cases - Vol Down first, Power next; Powewr first, Vol Down next; both buttons at one time.

Hi ViSoR42,
I'm a newbie. I had problem somehow the same as yours.
When I was using Nexus 7 2013, it hang up. I press and hold Power button to shut it down. It went down. Then I cant not turn it up.
Nothing happened when I tried to turn it up.
I connected it to the computer. It appeared "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" as well.
I think I can not do anything, for example, "adb", "fastboot", ...
You said that the way of swagstr worked for you. I have tried but failed.
Could you please tell me exactly what you did step by step?
Thanks a heap!

its like watching a good 2 hour long show that gets the last half hour cut by a breaking news report just to come back to the rolling of the credits and the 10 o clock news starting off with the breaking news report when you were watching a recorded show on your dvr
It worked for me too.
Why must it be depressed for a minute? what is the secret?

What you have is normal. You have to go one step more to get to recovery. I've tried to insert a picture, but Tapatalk keeps crashing when I try. Must be L 5.0.1.
Whoa! I did not realize how old this post was. Maybe the hold power button worked for this one, too.

This did not work for me. I have tried it while it is plugged into the PC, plugged into a charger or not plugged in. While plugged into the PC the "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" device on COM3 disappears periodically and then comes back so I can tell there is some life in it. This is extremely frustrating. The device froze while inside a game. The last image rendered stuck on the image for about 15 minutes until I did a hard reset by holding power down and the power button. The device has never turned back on since.
The only thing that happens is I get the device as a Qualcomm QDLoader when I plug it into a PC.
Please help and thank you in advance!
have you solved it?

Hard bricked note 4 sprint !

Hi, can anybody help me with make unbrick image ? I just searched whole internet and nothing found. My phone is completly dead after OTA update. No charging, no download mode, recovery, nothing. Only QUALCOMM HS-USB QDLOADER 9008 when connect to pc without battery.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-tmobile/general/help-test-unbrick-method-note-4-t3379897
So if anybody can help me I will be very graceful. Thanks !
Check this thread out. You may only find temporary relief but the wake lock app may gain more relief, however long that helps. Posts 40 and 45 outline a fix through Samsung that takes about a week.

Yes, but Samsung wants about 70$, so it's now worth of the phone. Still best way is unbrick image made by anybody with n910p. I can find it for n910f/g/w8 but not for sprint version. Anybody with this phone please help.
Or if you know other way how to turn download mode please tell.

Zuk Z2 Plus stuck at EDL - 9008 port & Not booting [SOLVED]

PROBLEM : Lenovo Zuk Z2 is stuck at EDL mode and cannot boot back into system.
DON'T PANIC...
A bit more about it
Zuk Z2 Plus is kind of bricked at Edl mode i.e it is at 9008 , aye.
A bit wierd issue but yes, it suddenly went to EDL and after a dozen tries like Vol & Power button holding and stuff i am not able to get out of edl mode.
There is no LED blinking, no vibration, display won't turn on, no nothing - just dead and is at EDL mode.
I've flashed 1.9 ROM & 2.0 ZUI ROM via QFIL ( as my Zuk is bricked or stuck at EDL mode i can easily flash ) but these don't boot too, or flashed ZUI via MI Flash Tool, but same.
It stays at EDL MODE.
Just for the record, I have bricked z2 a couple of times and after some hard work to get that to 9008 from 900e was able to unbrick it after I was able to get it to EDL mode and do deep flash ... but now in this case I am stuck at EDL. OMG
Device automatically switched to edl..
After searching on the internet!
After searching a lot, i found that same issue has happened in other devices also, possible fix is let the battery drain (will take a long time ) and after that plug in charger as it will turn off edl or disassemble it and disconnect battery ( harmful way)
How I fixed it? / SOLUTION
I let the battery drain to 0% and after that I plugged in the charger and pressed power button for 5 seconds and Viola it booted.
Now, the question is I was able to drain the battery just in a day, what I did is 2 things:
1. Used OTG cable and connected it to another device for 4-5 hours[ - to charge that another device in hope to drain my Z2 Plus's battery.
2. I used a thread or a rubber elastic band and tied that to the phone with a small paper roll pressing the power button and kept it like that for about 5 hours ( at this stage phone keeps on rebooting into edl so drains battery but you will not get to know it as no response will be shown by it - expect the sound it comes if you have it connected with the PC.)
------ Other Methods which seen to work ------
Or another method is Service Center, you can easily lock bootloader by flashing QPST STOCK ROM as you are at EDL - 9008 port.
Or removing the battery and connect it, it will switch off EDL - for this go to Local Shop I don't recommend doing this at home
THANKS - HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU
EDIT : FIXED!!
