What is it you're showing us ??
Can you explain the issue ?
If it's off center, did you change the DPI? That's probably why, change it back, think 640 is stock, not 100% on that tho.

Oh yea, weird..are you stock ? Rooted ? Custom ROM? Have you changed DPI?
If you haven't then I can only assume it's a screen defect, looks really odd.
If it's pure stock then yes thats odd.
Change the sizing of things within display.
If rooted with custom ROM the the DPI section.

Have you clean flashed a ROM ? That would be my next step, close to stock, leedroid or even viper should be fine.

is it only for the app you shown? maybe the app itself is the problem!?
did you use HTC s BOOST app? It changes the resolution if it optimises your Calendarapp (I think it is)

My HOX is suddenly able to display the Sense UI in Landscape and auto-rotate faultlessly. I don't think I've changed any settings and it's definitely not in dock mode or media uplink mode. Any idea how or why ?
Don't get me wrong, it's great, but if it stops I'd like to understand how to get it working again

That's strange, I've been trying to see if I can get my HOX to work in Landscape mode on the Homescreens etc... but cant' find out how.

Sorry. Just added screen shot to original post.
I am running standard, grey HOX, UK unlocked with stock 1.26 ROM.
Not rooted. No mods at all.

When i got the device i assumed that this was a function of sense 4 as it was present in a one s sensation port but it wasn't present on my device out of the box.
I know it can be implemented in a custom rom (not sure how to do it though!) but was not aware that it can be done on stock 1.26.
EDIT I guess it must be one of the settings in developer options. Would be interested to know if any body finds it.
F*#@%K! Now it's stopped again.
I swear to god, for a good half an hour there it was working beautifully
I think Sense may have restarted which has caused it to stop rotating

I have heard one of the custom rom has this Landscape mode function..... it was there on Insertcoin's Sense 4 ROM on my sensation... and i thought it would be there on HOX too.... but it isnt there....sad

It seems like the app checks for resolution and/or screen density. Restoring the nav bar height to stock fixed it for me.

That's great in theory but you get misaligned themes then that look ugly / don't work properly. I'm watching the app but until they can support full screen I won't be using it.

Yes, it actually does. I'm using CM10.2 NIGHTLY, and it works fine. Plus, many other people with custom roms say it works. If you're on a Nexus 4, or any other device with no hardware keys and just soft keys, make sure that soft keys are ENABLED. (if this STILL doesn't work, I think it must be that it only works with AOSP roms)

You pointed out the reason why they don't support custom nav bar height / expanded desktop: how can they possibly align the themes if there are thousands of space configurations for the same device? Supporting the stock configuration seems like the most logical and reasonable choice.

This is only a Beta app and this kind of support has to come or it will ale off massively imo.
I was using Buzz Launcher until recently and that handles many screen sizes / configurations without issue. I feel in time Themer can achieve or even surpass this level.

To adjust the DPI follow the steps below, THIS DOES NOT REQUIRE ROOT.
NOTE: I have used the DPI 250 here you can adjust the DPI according to your own taste. The default DPI is 480
CLICK TO HIDE CONTENT
1) Enable USB Debugging
2) Start ADB and check if you see your device by typing
Code:
adb devices
3) If you see your phone go ahead and type
Code:
adb shell wm density 250 (or your preferred setting)
4) Reboot your phone to apply the effects system wide.

I haven't tried Swifkey but I don't care for it anyways. Too buggy all the time. I have no issues with any other apps though. Unfortunately I don't remember the last setting I used cause I went in steps until it was where I wanted it but I think it's currently at 320 or 350 dip right now.

Ok so I am not a fan of the capacitive keys and I was wondering if anyone rooted try adding qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 in their build props
My past samsung phones used to crash whenever I entered this, I was just wondering if anyone have added softkeys yet.

i dont really want to buy it if softkeys can't be enabled , the back button is far away from my right thumb.

Does anyone know of a working mod/theme for dp2 that allows navbar resize? The default size is obnoxious...looking for something between 24 and 32 dip settings.
I am really interested in this, I am not in the Beta for 8.1 but I remember I sued a substratum theme that would resize the navbar but no idea if it still works since apparently it hasn't been updated sin 7.1
