Official TWRP App - serranolteusc - Galaxy S 4 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there,
I wonder if i can update recovery through official twrp app.
My device is s4 mini lte (lineage 14.1 rom for serranoltexx). I have TWRP 3.0.3-0 as my recovery. I wonder if i can download and flash 'serranolteusc' (samsung s4 mini US celluar) recovery. I'm not living in US, will it affect my rom? Did somebody flash that recovery?

You can only update TWRP through the official app if your device has official TWRP support. I'm working on getting official support for serrano3gxx, serranodsdd, and serranoltexx:
[RECOVERY][PRE-OFFICIAL] TWRP 3.2.1-0 [I9190][I9192][I9195]
It may be possible for you to flash serranolteusc on your serranoltexx, but even if it does flash and boot, it may not be as stable as the proper TWRP variant.

Upgrading recovery (TWRP)

I currently have an older TWRP (2.7.8.0) and would like to update it to the latest version, mostly because I want to upgrade to the latest CM (13.0, currently on 12.1).
1. What's the best method? Do I use the Heimdall Suite from PC or can I do it from TWRP or something else? Same procedure as going from stock recovery to TWRP?
2. Is 3.0.2-1 the latest and stable? I just ask because the TWRP home page says the latest is 3.0.2-0 so I'm wondering about the -1 thing.
As you have a custom recovery installed already you can get the zip version and flash via your existing recovery, get the one specific for your version of S4 Mini of course! (or flash tar via Odin as you did before, he says you should ALWAYS use Odin if coming from legacy TWRP or CWM as safer!)
The -1 (or whatever number) is a release code @ne0zone75 adds, it is not part of official version number so 3.0.2-1 is TWRP version 3.0.2 code base.
As he recently explained here

Thanks. I ended up using Heimdall Suite and it went fine (Odin never worked for me).

Safe to install stock ROM with TWRP

I recently rooted and installed TWRP on my oneplus3.
There is a stock update available for my phone: OxygenOs 4.1.0.
TWRP seems to block the automated install and based on what I read on their website I shouldn't install it that way.
Can I download the stock ROM from h2os and safely install it with TWRP? I wanted to ensure this wouldn't cause issues

Question OTA Update after TWRP

Hello, I want to flash TWRP on my SM-G990B. But I'm not planning to flash any rom/gsi yet and more likely to stay in stock OneUI. If I get an OTA update will that install if I have TWRP installed as recovery?
I wondering too

Question Twrp recovery and Ota updates

I have a one plus 9 pro fully unlocked model AA I have root and stock recovery at the moment. I would like to flash Twrp so I can install custom roms. Or if I stay on stock can I still apply OTA with twrp installed?
TWRP is there only for A11 ROMs. It's not compatible with OOS12 or any custom ROM built on A12. If you're on custom ROMs, you need to be on the recovery which the developer uploads/provides together with the ROM (linage-based custom recovery).

Firmware Update
